“Kaitlyn is wonderful. She is reliable and does an excellent job with Toby on his walks. I will definitely use her whenever I need someone to walk my dog.”

“My pup Max absolutely adores Jaclyn. She treats him like he’s her own, and it shows every single visit. She’s reliable, kind, and always goes above and beyond to make sure he’s happy, exercised, and loved on. I never have to worry when Max is with her he practically dances with excitement when she shows up for his walks!”

About: My experience has never stopped me from striving to be the best I can be. I’ve had animals in my home for over 15 years, cherishing every moment of it. I'm a stay at home house wife..and caring for your pets is no inconvenience for me.. your pets are very important to me and that they are properly taken care of.. My dog Pinky is never out of sight and my cats are indoor. I will never let out my cats because to many bugs outside..
About: I've been around both cats and dogs since I was a baby. We only have cats in our home, but one day, I'd like a dog too. My husband and I currently have 3 cats. We loved and cared for our special needs cat Donny for 3 years until she passed away. I have experience expressing a cat's bladder, administering medication, and giving ememas. The nasty stuff doesn't bother me. I cleaned up after her all the time and I can clean up after your baby too! I currently do real-estate and work part-time, but my schedule can be moved around depending on what I need to do. Any time can work out. I have 3 cats who are fixed. They can get along with other cats who are also cat firendly. I don't know how they would act with dogs, so I am not taking any in my home at the moment, but I love to drop in to visit them.
About: From the beginning of my life I have always been surrounded by animals. I grew up on a farm and had plenty of pets! I believe every animal in the world deserves love! I am an excellent candidate for your pet! I am very responsible and reliable. I answer quickly and send many pictures during the stay! I make sure they have their appropriate amount of food, water and exercise as well as playtime and attention! I do not just “watch” I care and love for your pet. I take the time to connect with them as they warm up to me. I want to know their feelings, boundaries, mannerisms, and even what side they like to sleep on. Every pet I sit for is not only an opportunity but another connection and commitment to my love of animals. My goal while providing services for your pets is to make both pet and owners comfortable through the whole experience. I understand what it’s like to feel anxious and worried about your pet especially with someone other than yourself. I have been there and felt the same way. Therefore with your pet as listed above I will send multiple updates and pictures as well as answer as soon as possible. Anything and everything I need to for my client and their fur babies! I have had a lot of experience with a large number of dogs and cats before! Whether they be elderly, disabled, super hyper, and even more mellow, as well as territorial, aggressive, and anxious. I treat each pet with care and support and am great at sticking to schedules and keeping pups and cats and even more busy! I am a hard worker and I keep my word. I’m off and pet sitting during the summer. During the school year I’m in and out of the house but love to spend time with my pets and I am very time conscious and responsible about how I spend my time. I make sure my dog Frankie gets so much love and attention and sometimes it’s so much he needs space haha. If I were to host your pet or do any other service for your pet becomes my priority! My job is to provide love and support and I love it! I live in an apartment and it’s always locked and safe! Plenty of toys, and treats to go around! While staying at my apartment your dog will not only be cared for but loved and appreciated. They have free will to get on couches, my bed, anywhere as long as they are comfortable! When it comes to my dog Frankie,I feed my dog 3 times a day and play with him all the time! I play with him for an hour and an extra hour just for pets and love! I cuddle with him every night and make sure he’s happy before I am always. The same goes to any animal I pet sit!
“Karen was able to come within short notice having never met my dogs before. She was absolutely wonderful with them. We plan on rebooking in the future! Thank you again!”
“Jasmine was sweet and came for a meet and greet the night before even though my request was last minute. She is knowledgeable about dogs and even changed my dog’s diaper for me!”

“Lillian is the BEST! We have used her many times for boarding and dog walking and she provides 10 out of 10 service. Ollie loves her and is super excited when he gets to see her. She also is great at accommodating late bookings. You will love her! Thank you Lillian”

About: YUP! Whether I am visiting with your pet or they are visiting with me, when they are in my care, EVERYTHING WE DO IS TRAINING! Between the physical exercise I will provide, cuddles & playtimes, your pet and I will work on basic commands, new tricks, and other mentally stimulating activities (I provide puzzles and a variety of other activates of your dog’s choosing). Every door we pass through is a sit-and-wait, to improve impulse control & focus their energy. Your dog’s time with me, and your money, will be spent on improving your dog’s manners and skill set, as I reenforce positive behavior and provide them with the mental stimulation they need to keep them from being destructive, board, anxious, etc. I am also experienced in training packs of dogs to respond to commands individually for multi-dog households. I am a professional dog handler/trainer. I have been providing exceptional care for pets (mostly dogs) on-and-off throughout my career. Since my first position as a kennel tech for a dog training company, contracted to train the Los Angeles Port Police dogs, I knew I had found my passion more than 20 years ago. I continued to follow my love for pets through freelance dog/puppy training, volunteering for nonprofits, and managing several full-service dog and pet resorts; including a brand local to St. Louis, MO, where the seven resorts would bring in 80-145 dogs per day, each. I have decided to turn my natural talents as a dog whisperer, and my professional experience as dog handler, into my own full-time business, doing what makes me happy by caring the pet(s) that make you happy! I am diligently working to make pet care my full-time job in the private aspect. I am currently available at your convenience 24/7 for your pet care needs! Whether your fur-baby is in my home, your home, or a pet resort, their safety and wellbeing is my top priority! When I walk dogs, I use a 2-part leash system to ensure a failsafe slip-lead in case the dog slips its collar or harness during the walk. All pets in my care are either under my direct supervision, or safely secured in an appropriate and comfortable enclosure. All pets in my care have access to fresh water at their disposal – including if kenneled. All of my pet-care equipment is in good repair and most of my equipment is professional grade, ordered from a popular police K9 equipment reseller. These are just a few of the many steps I take to ensure the comfort and safety of your fur-baby, and your peace of mind.
About: I’ve grown up around pets my entire life, dogs, cats, birds, turtles, etc! I’m a huge believer that they’re like family! I had a dog of my own for most of my life that was blind and diabetic, so I’m familiar with taking care of dogs of old age and medical care. I currently work as a flight attendant as well so my schedule varies week to week! I typically have spans on days on/off that make it easy for me to take care of your pets for several days! I live in an apartment that has sidewalks and grass all around, it’s a pet friendly complex:) I have no other pets or children that affect the environment. I’m also nearby a jogging trail that I love to take pets on for walks!

“Arden is Wonderful ! Our corgi is thrilled with her and she is super professional, responsive, friendly and loving. Smart and intuitive and knows just what he needs (walk/play etc). We are already rebooking and highly recommend!”

About: I have 8 years of pet care experience, I provide dependable, loving, and personalized care for every pet I look after. What sets me apart from other sitters is my patience, attention to detail, and ability to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs. I have a special skill and passion for caring for senior pets, including those who need extra patience, gentle handling, medication reminders, slower walks, or additional attention throughout the day. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their family is away. 🐾 Hi! I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight sitting for families who need someone dependable to check in on their pets. About: In addition to living with dogs at home for years (Newfoundlands and labs) I have spent the past few years pet sitting with Rover and fostering with my local animal shelter. I’ve worked with reactive, anxious, and high energy dogs- taking the time to build strong bonds so they can be successful! I am currently a PhD student with gaps between classes and work! This allows me to stop by before and after classes depending on your pet’s needs. I am active and able to take them for runs/walks, to the park, or play outside if that is most comfortable for you and them. I’m comfortable taking them in my car which has a backseat cover and seatbelt so we can go on adventures as well.
About: I’ve always have had a huge heart for all animals since I was a kid. Now that we have adopted our baby I got to quit my job and stayhome. But I would love to do something I actually love and that is taking care of fur babies. I have 5 dogs and 1 cat ranging from pitbull, American Bully, miniature pincher, and two Frenchies. They are definitely spoiled for sure. I am available anytime except for overnight visits. My fur babies are very gentle with our son and he will learn to love animals as well.. I have a fenced backyard that our fur babies get to enjoy sunbathing in playing as much as they like. I will not be bringing any animals to our home just for the safety of not knowing how my dogs would like other dogs in their yard..
“Sydney was great, she sent tons of pictures and made sure to let me know if she noticed anything unusual with my dog or my apartment. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker”

I love laying with them aswell and I will always give them lots of attention whenever I’m with them and so will my friends!! I’m currently a college student at TAMUCC and only have morning classes on Tuesday and Thursday and after that I am free to hang out with your babies. I care for pets in my home by letting them be in my room lay on my bed and or couch letting them be free. I make sure they are well taken care of and will always keep an eye on them.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Violet. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Violet.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. - 91% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
