They also know that I have good experience because I work as a kennel tech at the vet in my home town. As well as the fact that I’m a going to college to be a veterinarian. About: I have watched beloved family pets for many friends and family during my life time. Being an animal lover myself, I know that your pets are family and I make sure to treat them as such! Growing up with family dogs and cats, and currently our funky boxer dog Rufus, I know what it takes to be a successful animal sitter and how much love they need. I work a full time job, from 9-4:30 pm Monday-Friday with the exception of one remote day on Wednesdays. Most pets are used to this schedule. I will ensure they will have potty breaks first thing in the morning, during my lunch break at 1, and then once I return to the home at 5. And then several throughout the evening and before bed. I will care for your pet in the environment they feel the safest in… your home. By allowing your animal to remain at home, it eases their stress and anxiety and gives them a comforting feel of familiarity. No need to pack up enough food and treats for the week. I would stay with them when she was out of town, take them to vet appointments, walk and tend to any special needs they may have. I also volunteered at shelter.
