“Aimee did amazing checking in on our sick cat while we were away for Christmas to give him antibiotics. He’s doing better now and it wouldn’t be without the help of Aimee that he wouldn’t be sick anymore. Thank you so much!”

“Morgan was the perfect person for this job! She handled our cats with care, followed instructions perfectly, and her contact was immaculate. It was our great pleasure having her show up today!”

About: Hi, I'm Amy! I have been taking care of animals my entire life. I have personally owned cats, dogs, rodents, amphibians, fish, horses, and goats in my lifetime. That is not the limit though as my knowledge extends to cattle, reptiles, and birds as well. As a teenager, I even trained horses from birth to a year. I have volunteered with the San Francisco SPCA and obtained my Veterinary Assistant Certification from CSU Hayward. I started the Veterinary Tech program in Portland, Oregon and adopted a pit bull from the local rescue. Four years ago, I lost my rescue dog to cancer after a long treatment with chemo. Before she passed, another pit bull puppy just about fell into my lap, so it's just me and my dog Hustler now plus a couple of semi feral cats that found their way to my house. For nearly forty years I have been trusted to pet sit for others. This has been ever constant and always welcomed…from Scotties to Huskies to Ridgebacks and everything in between! I have experience with large, powerful breeds and also the smallest Chihuahuas with an equally powerful personality ;). I have also worked extensively with cats, so I'm ready to care for them whether they want my entire attention or just want to be left alone. I would love to meet with you and your animal(s) to see if we are a good fit. One thing for certain is that I will care for yours as if they were my own, and every instruction given to me I will follow to ensure the happiness, comfort, and safety of your pets. I have a flexible schedule and can work with medication, feeding, potty break, and exercise times as needed. Please feel free to ask about farm services! I look forward to the opportunity take care of your cherished family members! I have been pet/house sitting part time for years and am now looking to make this my full time job with the Rover service. I am available weekdays, weekends, and holidays! Your home is your sanctuary and your pets are your family. I respect other's spaces as I would my own. You will come home to a happy pet and a clean house. If any bedding or dishes need to be washed, or flowers watered, I am more than happy to accommodate your requests.

I am a US Navy Veteran and a writer/publisher for Onequalife LLC. I have seen how our environment harms animals life. I am an advocate for all life forms and we need to do better to protect them. Every day, I try to be the best version of myself to make all contacts positive and productive. My super power is patience and to learn new things. Writing is my passion and animals are my comfort. Making a connection with a new animal is a blessing for me. Lots of Love and Smiles for the Soul. As a child, I always have been spending time with our family animals. I have the time and experience with a safe caring fun loving home. I also have a fenced backyard with two sections and a large basement on two acres property. About: I’ve always had a love for animals since a young age growing up my parents never allowed me to own a pet, so I found a passion for caring for others pets ! I have worked for family and friends with watching and grooming their pets and I’ve also watched babies and toddlers since middle school which I now would be in my 2nd year of college. I currently am not employed, but I do side hustles such as selling on depop so sometimes I’ll ship packages off, I create clothes and accessories, and I babysit. Outside of that I have a lot of free time. I will care for your fur babies by listening to them while also following your requests/schedule throughly. I have no problem with more energetic animals taking them on a walk or just any personality finding a way to accommodate.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Villa Rica. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
