“I’ve used Ashley a couple times now to check in on my cat while I’m out of town and she always lets me know when she’s on her way and sends pictures afterwards! She rocks and I will continue to book drop in visits with Ashley in the future.”
“Shelbi was exactly who I needed to care for my kitty Olive while I was on vacation. She’s very intentional with her care and that is much appreciated. I knew my Olive was in great hands and I could fully enjoy my time away. Thank you bunches, Shelbi! I’ll be booking with you again soon!”
“This was the first time Laura took care of my kitty, and I couldn’t be happier! My kitty is 19yrs old and kinda high maintenance with all her meds. Laura did a wonderful job and stayed in constant communication!”
About: I am currently working as a dog bather and graduated from MVCTC Animal Care and Management. I have experience in small animals and basic training. I am currently working part time so I have lots of availability. I am available anytime on Mondays and Sundays and after 5 Tuesday- Saturday. Times and dates are flexible. I love to cuddle up with any pets if you or your pet would like. I can also easily crate pets and feed them on specific schedules as well as providing fresh water.
“Maura accepted our last-minute request to provide drop-in care for our cats and bird when an unexpected trip came up. We trusted her from our first meeting with her and she did a great job! She communicated with us and sent photos from every visit. We will definitely reach out to her when we need to travel again!”
“Mandy did a great job with Jake, my cat. I was confident that he was being well cared for and Mandy did everything she could to make sure I was comfortable. This was my first time using a pet sitter and I was very happy and will definitely use Mandy again for my next trip.”
About: Hi! My name is Maranda, and I’m a huge animal lover currently studying veterinary technology. I also have prior experience with animal welfare where I care for pets daily and help make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while away from home. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and getting to know each pet individually. Whether your pet needs playtime, walks, medication schedules, extra patience, or just lots of attention and cuddles, I’m happy to provide personalized care. My veterinary studies and hands-on experience working with animals have helped me become comfortable recognizing normal behavior, following care instructions carefully, and staying calm in different situations. I also have experience with feeding routines, cleaning, basic grooming, and handling anxious or energetic pets. I know pets are family, and I’ll always treat your pets with the same love and care I would want for my own. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family members and give you peace of mind while you’re away! I am a college student at Sinclair but my schedule is pretty flexible. Which still allows me plenty of time to provide reliable pet care, walks, drop-ins, and attention throughout the week. At home, I care for my dog by making sure she is safe, comfortable, well-fed, exercised, and given lots of attention and love. I help care for dogs and cats by monitoring behavior, cleaning, feeding, supervising playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while away from home.
“Anthony was great and very responsible. He got along really well with my cat and made me feel comfortable leaving her in his care. Before the drop-in visits started, he even suggested meeting in person so I could go over the basic instructions with him. Over the next three days, he did a great job taking care of everything—playing with my cat, cleaning the litter box, and making sure she was fed. I really appreciated how reliable and attentive he was, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy cat sitter.”
About: With four years of experience as a veterinary assistant, I provide knowledgeable, compassionate pet sitting you can trust. I understand how stressful boarding can be for both pets and their owners, so I focus on creating a calm, comfortable environment where your animals feel safe and loved. From energetic puppies to senior pets and those with special health needs, I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and conditions. When you can’t be there, you can feel confident knowing your pet will be treated like family—with patience, attention, and genuine care. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. Each day, I ensure pets are fed on schedule, receive any necessary medications, and get plenty of enrichment and one-on-one attention while I monitor their overall well-being. I focus on maintaining each pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide attention tailored to their personality and needs. For cats especially, I prioritize a calm, low-stimulation environment, respecting their boundaries while ensuring they feel safe and engaged. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I keep their space clean, follow all instructions closely, and provide daily updates so owners feel reassured and connected while they’re away.
“Yolena was a life saver and was able to watch my cat even though the request was very last minute. She kept me updated and sent pictures letting me know how my cat was doing. Great communication as well! Highly recommend!”
“Britany has been so reliable and does a great job with our cats. She spends time with them playing and makes them feel comfortable while we are away. I would suggest anyone in the area use Britany for your pet needs.”
About: I have always been a lover of any type of animal, but dogs would have to be my favorite! My entire family has always owned an animal of some sort, and I currently have 2 dogs. I believe that no good will come out of a rushed walk and no enjoyment will come out of one either. Healthy length walks lead to better mental health and well-being for your dog. I can provide leashes and baggies if needed, and as long as there are no specific allergies or rules, I will bring treats along as well. I enjoy animals and the care that is involved in making sure our fur babies are safe and happy! I would love to work with you and your dog! I will be starting back at Sinclair on the 22nd of August, However most of my classes are online, so there will be plenty of time for walks, drop in sits, etc. My family has a huge fenced yard that our two dogs love to sun bathe/play in. The dogs enjoy getting at least 2 walks a day around our neighborhood, sometimes to JDs Frozen Custard for pup cups!🤎

I've also worked for a small zoo and cared for cows, donkeys and Nigerian Dwarf Goats, as well as owls, hawks and an eagle. I have cared for exotic animals too! Ostriches, African tortoises, an African sand cat, African black-backed jackals and porcupines. I will give loving and attentive care to your pets. You can rest easy. I love animals and they love me! Pet care is all I do, so your pets will get personal immediate attention. I have been doing pet/house/farm sitting part-time for over 10 years. I'm now going into this full-time. Your pets will get my undivided attention! I have a reliable car and am easy to get ahold of anytime day or night. I do a meet and greet with you and your pets so we can get to know each other and I can make sure we are compatible and learn about your animals routine and any special needs so I can care for them safely and well. This first meeting is where we develop that initial trust and bond.
“This is our first time using Ms. Aubrey. She was communicative, Polite, punctual, and quite a hit with our two cats. We feel comfortable in using her int he future whenever we have travels to attend to.”
About: I have always grown up with at least one doggie at home and I have recently adopted an orange rescue cat who is now one year old! If any of my family is out of town, I am trusted to take care of their pets. This includes taking them on walks, accommodating to specialized diets, and spending quality time with them! I currently am enrolled in classes for the evening and will work part time. My schedule is very flexible as I am not scheduled daily! I insure each pet will receive care tailored to their unique needs. I am careful to double check all doors are closed and gates are locked. If any special rules are required to keep your pets comfortable, I will be sure to see them through.

As of October 2026, there are 528 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Verona. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
