“I would give Abby 10 stars if I could. She took wonderful care of Dexter while we explored the Montrose/Ridgway/Ouray area. She sent photo updates even when she didn't have to, and puppers had a brilliant time. When we went to pick him up, we noticed that she was walking our five month old puppy (secure area) sans leash, and was happily and obediently following along. The woman is a dog whisperer and the real deal!”

“Katy and her family were awesome for Clyde to stay with. She intentionally made sure Clyde fit in with her crew and went above and beyond to keep him comfy and send me videos and pictures.”

“Micaela was so wonderful with our dog. She gave us updates and photos and we felt so comfortable leaving our furry friend. She understood the specific needs of our dog. We will definitely be booking again!”

About: I have taken care of pets ever since I was a 14 years old, pet sitting for friends and family. As an adult I went to school to be a Veterinary Technician. I transitioned to working as an Animal Control Officer where I gained knowledge on administrating medication, vaccinations, and understanding animal health. I have worked at Veterinary Clinics and I am an active volunteer at the Animal Shelter. I am insured, I have a great understanding on separation anxiety and how to help with those feelings. I will ensure that your pet receives the best care from me and I will keep you updated along that way. I work in pet care full time. I do daily drop in visits for all pets and dog walking. I also provide boarding services in my own home for dogs. 🐶 I will treat your pets as if they were my own. You will get daily updates and the peace of mind that they are in good hands.

“Super happy I found such a good sitter for my fur baby! Not only did Thor make a few best friends but also received unconditional love and affection while I was on vacation. Received daily pics and updates which made me feel at ease! I love that summer focuses only on your fur baby when it’s their first time with her. She gets to know your dog while keeping them safe but most of all spoils them rotten 🤍! Definitely recommend, Thank you! PS: Thor approves this message 🐶 👍🏼”

“Jennifer was great with our Rosie. It was Rosie’s first time at a sitter and was very happy to go everyday. Jennifer even accommodated our other puppy on short notice. We will definitely use Jennifer again. Craig and Sheila’s”

“Kate was so fantastic! She sent me many updates to assure me that my dog Kubo was having the best time with her sweet dog and daughter. She was also really flexible and kind about a later pickup time. I would truly love to have Kubo stay with her again!”

“Ricky was so great with our pup, he had the best time exploring Ouray and playing while we were out doing non-dog friendly activities over the weekend. We will definitely reach back out next time we are in Ouray.”

“Toby had a great time with Dana, Eric and their daughter. Oh yes and also Kelso , their chocolate lab. He loved the country life for a week. I received some pictures and updates so definitely put my mind at ease. They took great care of him and I will for sure use them again.”

About: I love my own cats, dogs and reptiles of all ages in my household! I will absolutely love your animals as our own 💕💕 I have been in Montrose for 8 years. I always go home during lunch to let our dogs out. My lunch varies. Either I go home 11-12, 12-1 or 1-2. I usually have holidays off. My dogs are kennel trained. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to run around. My cats and dogs are friendly and vaccinated. My cats are fixed, our male dogs are not. One of my cats is blind.

About: At home, my husband, daughter and I share life with our senior dog, two cats, and a lively flock of chickens. Caring for animals is second nature to me, something I’ve done since I was a kid. My 4-year-old daughter has grown up the same way—gentle, respectful, and just as smitten with animals as I am, probably even more so! I meet every animal where they are. I know the little details matter—how they like to be greeted, what helps them feel safe, and when they just need quiet company. My goal is to make your pets feel as comfortable and cared for as they do with you. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I’m home most of the day and only ever out for short errands—usually no more than a couple of hours. My husband also works from home, so there’s almost always someone here. That means your pets get plenty of attention, companionship, and care! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I follow your directions closely so their routine stays just the way you like it. In my home, I provide a calm, safe space where pets can settle in and feel comfortable. In your home, I make sure everything is done exactly as you’ve outlined, from feeding and walks to playtime and quiet time. My goal is always the same—happy, secure pets who feel cared for just like they do when you’re there.

About: I have grown up with all kinds of pups…border collies, black mouth currs, aussies, heelers…I currently have a pitbull and a golden retriever myself who I love very much. I also have a cat who is my absolute world. I was taught pet responsibility at a very young age, and also showed steers in 4h, which I feel are just very large dogs. I currently work full time, but I do work from home Mondays, Wednesday and Thursday at my home in Delta. Tuesday’s and Fridays, I am in Montrose. The weekends are pretty open for me, but if at all possible, please contact in advance just in case I am busy! I like to give lots of attention to your pets as well as my own. Lots of playtime for my golden (my pit is an old lady, so she just likes to be lazy).

About: I was raised with dogs in the house and always feel like something is missing without a furry friend around. I have sat for dogs of a wide variety! I am open for drop-in visits or dog walking at your house, but cannot bring your dog to mine at this time. I have a lot of free time and love to fill my day up with dog visits! I am a teacher on summer break. Having my own dog that occasionally runs away, I prioritize the comfort and safety of your pets and look forwars to adjusting to their needs!

“Laura and Sam were great! They were gracious enough to do a greet and meet with us prior to the stay to make the dogs and us more comfortable. They sent updates and photos/videos that kept us at ease while on our trip. They went above and beyond to take care of our babies. We can’t recommend them enough!”

About: I currently own a 5 year old Rottweiler, and an 8 month old Cane Corso puppy. Before them, growing up I never wanted kids just wanted a petting zoo of fur babies. Unfortunately due to not having a big enough house, my zoo is on hold. But in the meantime, I get to enjoy other puppies and watch them anytime at my convenience. I’m good with watching any dog big or small! Currently I work full time at a hospital 3 days a week. Any other time I’m free! I work 12 hours a day. I have a schedule in about 3 months in advance, so I’m okay to book to your schedule and work something out. When watching other fur babies, I like to ask owners their day to day schedule. That includes what time they wake up, what time they like to be walked at and what time they normally have the zoomies to play. Their daily schedule shouldn’t change only because their owner is gone on vacation.

“Leah has cared for our dogs for the last 14 years. Whether it's a Chihuahua or a Lab, she does an amazing job of providing care, playing with them, ensuring they get exercise, and offering lots of affection and attention. Her life long love for animals, experience as an animal control officer, and many years of rescuing dogs, puts her in a class by herself when it comes to caring for pets. I highly recommend her services.”
