About: I've been an animal lover my whole life. When I became old enough to have my own pets I discovered that I wanted to dedicate my life to being a caretaker for animals. I worked as a kennel technician at Greater Birmingham Humane Society caring for the animals every day. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I no longer work there. I am fortunate to have learned so much there and to have truly figured out my passion in life. I worked at Hollywood Feed for over 2 years helping pet parents and learning everything I could about pet nutrition. I had to leave when my son was born, but I hope to find a career in animal care again some day. I currently have four amazing dogs and a wonderful cat that I care for and love so much. I could sit and talk about my beautiful animals all day long if given the chance. I personally know how much animals can mean to a person and how they become part of the family. I have no shortage of experience with big dogs, small dogs, active dogs, lazy dogs, outgoing dogs, shy dogs, etc. I'm extremely comfortable around every breed, size, age, etc. I have a special place in my heart for shy dogs and senior dogs. I am very capable of walking dogs that pull or that happen to be reactive on leash. I'm knowledgeable in dog behavior and I am confident in my skills to recognize certain dog characteristics and customize my approach to caring for that particular dog. Lastly, I'm a true believer that time spent with an animal is NEVER wasted! I am very flexible at this time. I do have a one-year-old, but I am able to get help with him almost any time I need to be away. I am unable to keep any pets in my own at this time. When it comes to keeping pets in clients' homes, I am willing to do whatever is needed. It is very important to me to follow the specifications given to me by the client.

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. I spent the first 10 years of my life helping (as much as I could) at the vet clinic where my mom worked. That’s where my passion for animals began. My family has always had animals, and now as an adult my husband and I have 3 dogs, 2 cats and a horse! I also have experience with bunnies, hamsters, snakes, and even flying squirrels! And I love birds. So I’d be happy to help with virtually any animal you have. I have extensive experience caring for animals, I have also worked as a kennel assistant, veterinary receptionist, and a veterinary technician. I would love to help you in ensuring that your pet is happy and well taken care of at the times you can’t be there. I currently stay at home, so I am available at most times throughout the week. Not available on weekends. I am mainly looking to help someone out in the morning through mid afternoon. I do not have a fenced yard, we live on 10 acres and have an electric fence system for our 3 dogs that is about 2 acres. My dogs are friendly and love play dates but that is of course up to you as the owner if you’re comfortable with me not having a fence. We also have a pool that my lab thoroughly enjoys, if your pet likes to swim. I can also crate your pet if needed.
11. Jabari D.

19. Kaylee W.
About: Hi my name is Kaylee! I currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats. My dogs are Bennie and Australian Shepherd and June a shelter pup who’s mostly lab an border collie! My 2 cats are Sammy and Bunny! I have many years of pet care experience. I also have experience with senior cat care. My cat Callie passed away 2 years ago at the age of 17. During her final years she had hyperthyroidism so I had to give her methimazole by mouth twice a day and I became good with administration of medications to animals. I also am very aware of the extra care and accommodations senior pets require and find joy in making their last years as comfortable and as easy as possible. I am a nurse in the ER and although I care for humans, I do have extra knowledge of health and medications others may not have. So, if your 4 legged friend has any medical conditions or special requirements i am the sitter for you! I love all animals and hope i have the pleasure of getting to love on your best friend!🤍 My schedule is different from most as I am a nurse who works nights in the ER. However, I am off a lot of weekdays compared to someone who works a typical job. I get my schedule 2 months at a time so you’ll have plenty of time to plan. I also am willing to drop by before I go to work which would be anywhere from about 4:30-6pm or when I get off in the mornings at around 7:30am! My ultimate goal is to keep your babies comfortable. I will walk, play, feed, or just chill out with your animals. Whatever they need of me I will do! I have a privacy fenced in backyard and 2 playful pups of my own to keep your pups company! We frequent the dog park that is 3 minutes from my home, so my dogs are very used to meeting new dogs and have never had any issues making new friends!
20. Tammy U.
About: Since I was a little girl I have always had dogs, cats and even raised three baby squirrels at one time. I remember one time in particular that my dad brought home two tiny little puppies. Their mommy couldn't feed them bc she had had too many babies to feed. So my dad and I bought these little bottles to feed them with. We would wake up in the middle of the night to feed them. He would feed one and I would feed the other. They grew up to be the biggest babies. Another time he brought home three Itty bitty baby squirrels that he found on his job site. We fed them with little bottles too. We built them a cage and I would get them out an play with them everyday. Eventually they grew up and we released them in our back yard. As I grew up and became an adult I have had many dogs throughout the years. One time I rescued this sweet black and white pit bull. I named her Princess. An she was the most loving dog. She was skinny from being on the streets, so I failed to notice that she was pregnant. Lol She delivered her babies on my couch on Easter night. I stayed up until 2am helping her deliver those precious babies. One of which we kept for my son and named him Chunky. This is just some of my many experiences with animals. I have much more. Like 2 years ago someone dumped four kittens by my house and we rescued them. Unfortunately one didn't make it but the other three now live with us. We named them Clyde, Walter and Eddy. We also had a stray mama cat who had one tiny grey baby that she left on our property and we took him in a year ago. His name is Lil Bit. So now we have three dogs (two pit bulls and a lab) and five cats (mama girl, Clyde, Walter, Eddy and our Lil Bit). So as you can see I absolutely love animals and have had many years of experience in taking care of them. In our home our animals are a part of our family. I am currently available Monday thru Sunday. Early mornings are fine. I am available evenings as well, but 7pm would be the latest that I would be available. At the moment I wouldn't be boarding my clients pets at my home. I am available to come to their home and I will care for them there.
