About: Use code KELLYS2809 for $20 off your first booking with me! I have a B.S. in Natural Resource Ecology & Management with a concentration of Wildlife Ecology from LSU. I previously worked at a few state parks nearby. I love to be active and go for lots of walks. I’m just as happy to stay home and relax with your pet if that’s what they prefer. I did Rover throughout college and loved it so much! I love all animals and enjoy being around them. I previously worked in a vet clinic so I have experience administering medication and giving special care. I am currently a furloughed gov employee, so I am home all day and can provide as many potty breaks as needed. Whatever they need! I have experience with many different animals, and I can adjust to your pets schedule to keep them in their routine as much as possible!
“Chelsy was AMAZING!! She really took the time to make sure my girls warmed up to her and even spent extra time with them during her first check in to give them time to get comfortable with her. I will definitely be contacting Chelsy everytime! She also sent pictures/videos and kept me up to date on their eating and potty habits.”

About: Previously I’ve had 2 years of professional dog handling experience from working at dog daycare and boarding facilities. Every day, I would spend hours playing with pups of all different ages, breeds, and sizes. I worked hard to make sure they were fed (and medicated if needed), hand feeding them and sitting down with them if they were too anxious to eat in a new environment. I cared for at least 30 dogs a day, sometimes up to 60. All of them hold a special place in my heart, and I still remember over 200 names. There, I was taught the proper ways to handle and walk dogs. I was also trained on CPR in case of emergencies. Every dog I met had a different personality, so I had to learn from experience how to handle each and every one of them differently. Additionally, I own two cats and have knowledge in basic feline first aid, including CPR. I’ve also raised two litters of kittens in the past, from birth to when they became 2-3 months old. It would be an honor if you decide to choose me to care of your pet, cat or dog, it’s something that I greatly enjoy doing. No matter how big, small, rough, excited, or grumpy your pet is, I would love to care for them. No accommodation is too difficult for me. I’m currently in school at LSU with morning classes, so I’m only available to work past 3PM on weekdays. Most weekends, I’ll be available all day. Feel free to message me personally for any clarification. My services are restricted to walking and home visits, as I don’t have additional space to comfortably care for another pet in my own apartment. I feel confident caring for pets who do not have a fenced in backyard.
About: My family and I have always had multiple dogs raised from puppies to full grown dogs that I helped to care for. This includes walking, bathing, feeding, playing fetch, trimming nails and taking them to the vet. I have also taken care of our farm animals daily needs. I work part time and my day to day schedule is very flexible. I am open to same day sitting jobs if needed. I am available to take dog to the vet as well. I have one friendly dog that loves furry company. I can accommodate needs of sitting location, depending on client’s preference. I have toys, crates, treats and dog beds to ensure comfort and needs are met.

“Olivia did an outstanding job with our labs. She came over for a pre-visit to get to know them and we knew immediately it was a perfect fit! She interacted with our VERY active boys and they were sad to see her leave. She was very professional, arrived on time, and went above and beyond of what was asked of her. Would definitely recommend.”

About: I have 12+ years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. I currently share my home with my two rescues: Princess, a calm and loving 10-year-old lab mix, and Ross, a playful almost 3-year-old dachshund mix. My late German Shepherd, Thor, was with me for 7 wonderful years and passed in October of 2024 at 10 years old. Since 2021, I’ve been active in dog rescue and fostering, caring for countless pups including senior dogs, puppies, and even Amish puppy mill rescues who needed patience, rehab, and lots of love. In my home, your dog will have a safe and loving environment with plenty of playtime in my fenced-in yard. I can crate your pup if that’s what you prefer, or keep them free to relax with my own two dogs—whatever makes them most comfortable. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your routines and preferences closely, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or snuggles. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and cared for just like they do with you.

Brooke is absolutely incredible! She is so sweet and caring, and she communicates wonderfully. She really listened to my requests and paid close attention to the little nuances of how I care for my dog, Nico. It’s clear she wants to make sure she does things just as I would. I felt completely at ease with her in my home and knowing Nico was in her hands. I would 100% recommend Brooke to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
