“Jennifer is always so good with our dogs. We wouldn’t want them to go anywhere else. Always appreciate her thoughtfulness to keep us updated on how they’re doing and her loving spirit. Highly recommended her services!!”

“Brittany and Tristen did a great job taking care of my pup! I will be using them again when I need help and I highly recommend them to take excellent care of your four legged friends!”

“Julie is AWESOME! We were hesitant leaving our Belgian Mallinios/Border Collie mix with just anyone. Julie went above and beyond to have our pup feel at home and comfortable. She sent plenty of updates and communicated very throughly. We will definitely use her again and recommend her with others.”

“Beverly is the best. Daisy gets so excited when she sees Beverly. I love the photos and videos she sends while we’re away. We drive 45 minutes to take Daisy to Beverly. It is so worth it.”

“Excellent experience and very satisfied with the care given our dog. Very clean and safe environment. Christina and her husband are wonderful. Definitely would use them again a nd highly recommend them.”

“Eliza took great care of my two elderly, stubborn dogs so I could take a last minute trip out of town. It’s always nerve wracking leaving the elderly pups but she made the transition smooth and comfortable for them.”

“Heather looked after our girl for 8 days and we couldn’t feel more comfortable knowing she’s in great hands. We’ll continue to use her for any of our trips. Thank you for always taking care and working with us!!!”

“Bailee’s communication is phenomenal! She responds fairly quick and gave us constant picture updates of our fur baby’s progress. Ozzy seemed to have made himself at home and had fun there because he came back sleepy, which is good for us! :)”

“Sarah responded quickly and concisely, was pleasant, and took great care of my dog. I almost felt bad taking the dog away from her 4 year old kid. Will book with Sarah again if she is available next time I need a dog sitter.”

“Bobbi and her family took good care of Lotus! She was very flexible with her drop off and sent pictures of Lotus hanging out in her big backyard. I was a bit worried about her stairs given that my dog is 11 years old but he managed to go up and down to those few steep stairs just fine. Thanks Bobbi!”
“Linda did an excellent job while keeping my dog on vacation. He really enjoyed his time there and she took care of him just as well as I would! I would definitely recommend Linda as she receives a 10 star rating from me! I will most definitely use her for future boarding!”

“Jessica was amazing! She took such great care of my dog and treated him like her own. He was so happy and comfortable with her that I don’t think he even missed me! 😂🐾 I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter. 💕”

“I felt comfortable leaving my dog with Jerry because of his experience watching multiple dogs at the same time. I really liked receiving pictures of Hazel doing well with other dogs. It was a great opportunity for her to learn how to socialize.”

“I can’t recommend Destine enough! She took such amazing care of Penny and treated her like she was her own. I got regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious that Penny was happy, comfortable, and well loved. I was a little nervous leaving my cat, but she completely exceeded my expectations. I’ll absolutely be booking with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable!”

About: I am an animal lover. I have three dogs of my own, all small rescues. I love big dogs but can’t have them in our tiny house. I am a full time nurse practitioner but take care of animals on my days off. I know how hard it is to find loyal and trustworthy people to care for my animals. That is why I wanted to provide this service. Also, walking and playing with dogs and cats is fun. We also travel and are interested in keeping dogs during travel. My husband and I work together to make sure our dogs are outside regularly throughout the day. I will only be taking appointments on my days off, so my schedule is a little sporadic. For overnight stays, I need to have walked your dogs at least 4-5 times and/or completed a trial of doggy day care to make sure your dog gets along with my personal animals.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Van home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Van.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
