“Jennifer & her family have been amazing with looking after our girl Yara, and making her feel right at home in their house. She has been flexible with drop off & pick up times, and also keeping us well informed with pics and videos. She has also been accommodating to our dog’s particular behavior needs (food aggression) and adjusted so everyone stays safe and comfortable! We already have more dates on the calendar with her and will be booking more!”

“Brittany and Tristen did a great job taking care of my pup! I will be using them again when I need help and I highly recommend them to take excellent care of your four legged friends!”

“Waffle was well taken care of with Beverly. He had no seizures during her stay, pics looked like he had a blast, and he was not stressed out when we picked him up. Her communication with us was outstanding. Will definitely use her again. This mama was very happy?”

“Julie, just like our first stay was again wonderful. So glad I found her and now would not go anywhere else. I left her a mess of a big bloodhouse who the night before chewed all his stitches out of his leg. I had a trip planned out of the country so could not postpone it. She did an amazing job. His open wound looked mostly closed and clean. Could not ask for better care. I highly recommend her.”

“Christina was absolutely wonderful!! We had an emergency and our 1 night stay turned into a 6 night stay. Christina was so kind and flexible with our ever changing situation. She even supplied food for Mollie since we didn’t send enough for the additional nights. She sent lots of pics to let us know what Mollie was up to and Mollie looked happy and relaxed every time. She got to play and snuggle with her daughter and granddaughter and you could tell how happy Millie was with them. I will definitely let Mollie go hang out with Christina again. I could tell she enjoyed her time there!”

“We have left Zoey with Justin and Echo multiple times now. Zoey loves going over there to play. She was so excited this time that she reached for Justin, wagging her tail as soon as we got there.”

“Eliza took great care of my two elderly, stubborn dogs so I could take a last minute trip out of town. It’s always nerve wracking leaving the elderly pups but she made the transition smooth and comfortable for them.”

“Bobbi was great ! We will be using her again soon Its feels good for us to find someone who you can Trust and not have to be worried about the dog That we love like family”

“Bailee’s communication is phenomenal! She responds fairly quick and gave us constant picture updates of our fur baby’s progress. Ozzy seemed to have made himself at home and had fun there because he came back sleepy, which is good for us! :)”

About: Experienced raising multiple dogs of all sizes and energy levels. Skilled in puppy training, feeding schedules, and daily exercise. I keep every dog safe, active, and comfortable like family. With my flexible schedule, all dogs get near constant attention. There's always time for walks, feeding, play, and consistent care throughout the day. I love dogs My fenced property gives dogs safe room to roam and rest. I supervise closely, keep a calm routine, and make sure every pet feels secure and comfortable.
About: I am an animal lover. I have three dogs of my own, all small rescues. I love big dogs but can’t have them in our tiny house. I am a full time nurse practitioner but take care of animals on my days off. I know how hard it is to find loyal and trustworthy people to care for my animals. That is why I wanted to provide this service. Also, walking and playing with dogs and cats is fun. We also travel and are interested in keeping dogs during travel. My husband and I work together to make sure our dogs are outside regularly throughout the day. I will only be taking appointments on my days off, so my schedule is a little sporadic. For overnight stays, I need to have walked your dogs at least 4-5 times and/or completed a trial of doggy day care to make sure your dog gets along with my personal animals.
“Sarah responded quickly and concisely, was pleasant, and took great care of my dog. I almost felt bad taking the dog away from her 4 year old kid. Will book with Sarah again if she is available next time I need a dog sitter.”

“Awesome awesome awesome! Caitlyn and her family were very attentive and provided feedback during the trip along with photos of my boys. Thank you for taking such good care of them.”

“I highly recommend Kimberly! She took excellent care of my dog and sent daily updates on how things were going. She was wonderful to work with and has excellent communication. I drove an hour out of our way to specifically use Kimberly and I would gladly do it again! Thanks Kimberly!”

“Jerry was great!! Very professional while at the same time very personable! He took great care of our Lab and his house was a perfect set up. Glad we found him, we will definitely be using Jerry again!!”

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
