About: We grew up with dogs, playing with them, petting and feeding them. As we raised our three children, we had two basset hound mix dogs and a little shih tzu that we all loved, played with and took care of. Then, when all our children grew up and left our home we were given a little six week old white poodle that needed a loving home. Charlie Brown was curious and energetic and became such a loving friend and companion! After 17 years he passed away of old age and our hearts were broken and we thought we would not get another dog. But, a couple of years later, we went to the rescue facility and met Daisy. She was a pitiful little 6 lb. Maltese that needed lots of tender loving care. Her coat was extremely matted and her tender skin was badly inflamed and she was frightened as she listened to all the big dogs barking all around her. We took her home and we tenderly cared for her, loved and cherished her back to good health. For a few years, she was well and happy, but, as she aged, she had some very serious health problems and several surgeries were required. After what seemed a too short seven years, she passed away. We're not planning to get another fur baby, even though we still enjoy being around them. So, we'd love to sit with yours! We're retired from our jobs of library management (Becky) and machinist (John) . We don't have any childcare responsibilities since our children and grandchildren are all responsible adults. We can serve fur babies and parents in the Krum, TX area when they need drop in visits for fur babies they had to leave at home. For our in home sitting, one of us will be home with them most of the time. Our available days/ times will be available here on our page. On Sundays, we attend church in the morning and in the evening, so pups would have to be kenneled during that time. Our Daycare is opened 7am-8pm to accommodate various schedules, but your pet should only be with us 10 hours or less per day We only sit small dogs (husband is allergic to cats). Dogs must be up to date on shots, healthy and potty trained. For overnight stays or Sundays in our home, dogs must be kennel trained. Our backyard is secure with a 6' privacy fence for them to romp and play in. Our home is an uncluttered, safe environment for your fur baby.

About: We are a family pet-sitting home. We have always had pets in our home and we would love to care of yours! Each dog we have in our home we make sure they are relaxed and comfortable. I am a stay at home mom and my husband works during the day. My 14 year old daughter, Andrea, and I stay at home and take care of our dog. We all love dogs and hope to make your dog love us. We can take the dog out to potty often because we have a fenced in yard. We also have a Shih Tzu named Sadie, and she will do great with your dog! We are able to meet your needs that you may need for your pet.

About: We specialize in mid to large breed dog sitting and offer indoor boarding with a half acre fenced in yard to run. I work from home, which ensures that someone is here with your pup almost all the time. I do outdoor play breaks with our pups every 2-3 hours theoughout the day. Our personal fur family includes 2 Great Danes, a Great Pyrenees and a lab rat terrior mix. All are well mannered and love meeting new furry friends. The bigger the dog the better and special need, elderly and puppies welcome. I work from home and am home all day. We typically are never away from our house for more than a few hours when we do run errands or go out. Thos is because we hate to leave our dogs home alone for too long. We have a roomy home on an acre lot. This give dogs plenty of space both inside and out to roam. We are a sucker for letting dogs on the furniture, so please let us know if this is not allowed for dogs.

About: I love animals and always had a dog or cat or both. They were healthy, well cared for, got lots of attention and were considered part of the family. Fast forward, I found myself without a dog or cat. So, I got certified as a foster for the SPCA, volunteer at the local shelter, am a contact for the DFW wildlife hotline, and certified in two other wildlife areas. I have fostered, helped re-home, and cared for a few pets. My children said I'd be perfect for helping folks who need someone to care for their cherished pet. So here I am at Rover. Your dog or cat will get lots of attention, cuddles, exercise, and play. I'm a retired professional that loves animals. I will NOT be working remotely on a computer or phone for hours while ignoring your pet. Your pet IS my job. I will physically be where your pet is whether inside the house or outside playing. Though experienced, I'm new on Rover, and my schedule is open. However, first come first serve. Please call with your specific needs. Your pet's safety is paramount. Inside my home: I ensure there are no exposed electrical wires, poisonous plants, chemicals on the floor, or toys that are dangerous to swallow. You can trust I have your phone and your vet's phone numbers readily accessible should any emergency or question arise. How I care for pets: Whether at my house or my client's house my care is similar. Initial greetings, carrying, petting, and talking to your pet. I will observe your pet (my habit) to ensure they look physically well, are responding and moving healthily. After my observations, in case of a cat, I clean litter pan and surrounding areas. Then outside to play if a dog (inside play if a cat). Play for both will always include running, jumping and stretching. After play is meal time and always plenty of clean fresh water. Finally, relax and cuddle time for your pet. If at my house, after mealtime, the environment will be relaxing with pet pillow beds on floor where they can rest, digest, and cuddle. That said: I follow the client's schedule to ensure not to upset their pet's habits, digestive issues, or cause anything that may promote anxiety in their pet. Inside my home is relaxing with plenty of natural light, comfy pillows beds on the floor or couch for your pet's relaxation and cuddle time. Outside: I have a very large, fenced yard for lots of play and running. There is plenty of fresh clean water both inside and outside. I even have soft relaxing music to calm any anxiety when you drop them off. At client's home: I will greet and talk to your pet, hold and pet them often.I observe physical and behavioral wellbeing. In case of a cat, I would clean litter pan and its surrounding area first. Afterwards, plenty of play time. Cats will play inside the home. Dogs outside. Whether cat or dog, play will include running, jumping and stretching. After play they will be fed and get plenty of fresh clean water. Finally, time to relax and cuddle time.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinda of dog for over 10 years! I’m 22 years old and have a passion for animals! There is nothing i care for more than my fur baby! I would love the possibility of caring for your animals:) I’m a full time employee but I am available after 6 pm M-F and on weekends all day! I can’t wait to meet your pups ! I have a fenced in backyard that if very large. I have a couple of different sized cates that would be provided for the pups stay. I have a while spare room dedicated for dog boarding! Plenty of outside play, lot of toys and lots of love!!

About: I have owned dogs all my life. I have boarded my own dogs and know what I expect for my dog. I have a one acre fenced yard so there is plenty of room for your pet to roam and play and get lots of exercise. Your dog must be fully vaccinated, with proof of vaccines, including robello, rabies. Please provide your own dog food, treats, dogs eating schedule and crate. I am currently retired and home all day and evening, except those times when I have errands or appointments. I will be outside with the dogs during their exercise and play time. I have a one acre fenced yard and a playful pomeranian to keep your dog company. I live in the country so there is plenty of space.

About: I have a poodle at home that I am obsessed with. I am adamant about quality care. Being a pet owner myself, I know how precious your fur-baby is!! :) I have attended AKC registered training with my dog so I am familiar with positive reinforcement and the importance of mental stimulation for animals. As a stay at home mom, I can take on additional animals. I love animals and adore every chance I get to be around them! I have an adorable poodle at home that I care for. About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs since I was little but about 5 years ago I started taking care of other peoples dogs by preforming tasks like bathing, walking, taking out for bathroom breaks, cleaning up after, feeding and giving water, helping them get exercise, and disrupting medication as needed. I am free to provide pet care anytime of the week as long as I am given a heads up in advance with the time and day you would like to schedule. I have an open yard without a fence so for bathroom breaks i would take them on walks. I will provide food and water, I will also ask pet parents about feeding schedules, amounts, and brands of food that is required before drop off. I make sure to have a list of each dog in my care that includes any requests or requirements that pet owners have so I can provide the best care for your fur babies.
