5. Mark D.
About: As the title describes, was an elementary teacher and worked in the education field for over a decade. Unfortunately a chronic illness took away my ability to speak, but I still love getting out and about! I carry a whistle and my phone on me at all times to ensure the safety of the pet I am taking care of. I am currently a stay-at-home husband, so am available a lot of the time to help others! My mutism means I can't speak anymore, but I do understand pets! I have 2 dogs and a bird of my own. I treat every furry friend as a family member, because that's what they are! My own Yorkie is nearly 17 years old and treated with the utmost care and respect. I would, and do, treat any furry friend I come across as an important member of the family.
6. Karen A.

7. sara a.
“I have had the pleasure of knowing Sara for several years, and I can confidently say that she is one of the most responsible and caring dog owners I've ever met. She has been taking care of my furry friend, Zoe, for me while I'm away on trips, and I can't even begin to express how grateful I am to have her in my life. Sara has a true passion for animals, and it shows in the way she treats them. She is meticulous about their well-being, making sure they receive the best care possible. From providing fresh food and water to administering medication and giving them plenty of love and attention, Sara leaves no stone unturned when it comes to ensuring the happiness and health of the dogs in her care. I've had many friends recommend Sara as a dog sitter over the years, but I can confidently say that she's exceeded all my expectations. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about animals and will treat your furry friend like part of the family, look no further than Sara. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of every kind since I was 12. Dogs of every age welcome! Family and neighbors have put their trust in me to care, walk and feed their fur babies! I am a housewife by day and would love nothing more than to dedicate my extra time to a doggo in need of love and care! I have 2 doggos! Cali (5 years old) and Lily (3 years old). Our family, (3 kids) has a fenced front and backyard! My kids love to run, play and give lots of belly rubs!
12. Sherall H.
“I’ve known Sherall for over five years . We started off as coworkers in a medical clinic. She is very driver & compassionate caring for the patients. Seeing how she got things done at work I felt comfortable enough to have her house sit for me while I was on a two week cruise . At the time I had a small dog that was mixed with everything and a cat . She was very kind and gentle to both of them while I was away . I felt they were completely safe with her .”

About: Hello! I have a mixed poodle and have been taking care of my friend’s pets off and on while they’re away for almost 5 years now. I want to dedicate my time to looking over your pet full-time, so expect attention to detail with all care instructions. I look forward to meeting your fur baby. I’m currently on Rover full time. I am available Monday-Saturday starting at 7am to 11pm and on Sundays before noon. If these times don’t work please reach out and I can move my schedule. I have one elder fur baby she is kind to other dogs and has only barked five times in her lifetime. I live in an area where I am able to walk your pet in green grass for almost a mile. Plenty of space for walks and fun.

18. Mirtyll H.
About: I'm an energetic girl, who likes to spend time with her furry friend. I was fostering several dogs, with different needs before I adopted my 5 years old boy. He taught me many things about myself. I realised how much they depend on us, and it is our duty to provide the best for them. I have volunteered to be a foster family few years ago, so I have dealt with sick, healthy, fearful, energetic etc dogs. I love to take long walks with them, pamper them when they need it, train them, exercise them. It is very important to focus on both their mind and their body, so they feel tired after each session. In my honest opinion, a tired dog is a happy dog.
19. Maddy G.
“Maddy took great care of my dogs! She is very friendly and is great with dogs. I would give her a 5 out of 5 stars!”
20. Cindy F.
“Cindy was amazing with my high energy mini Bull Terrier Seamus! She is very calm, caring, attentive and responsible. I immediately liked her and felt comfortable around her. She has a great apartment with plenty of room and green grassy areas outside for walks. She also lives near Lake Merced, another great place for walks! She suggested a meet and greet the day before I was dropping Seamus off, which I thought was a great idea to make sure it was a good fit for both my pup and herself. It also allowed Seamus to get a feel for her and her apartment so it wouldn't be so shocking the next day for him to be there. I felt very comfortable with her taking care of Seamus and she sent me pictures and updates. I will definitely call Cindy again when I need a dog-sitter!”
