“As a first time user for boarding, Renee was the perfect choice! She was very nice, attentive, and quick to respond with any needs. Her home and pets are a great place to send your furry child. Would recommend ❤️🐾”

About: As a proud dog mom to a Yorkie and a Bichon Frise, I specialize in small dog care and understand that our fur babies are family. 🐾🫶 I work remotely part-time, which means your little one will have plenty of company, cuddles, playtime, and personal attention throughout the day! Whether it's boarding or a fun walk, I'll treat your pup like one of my own, with lots of love, patience, and care. I also love sending photo updates so you can have peace of mind while we're together. I can't wait to meet your little best friend! 🐶💕 I work remotely part-time, so I'm home most of the day and have plenty of time to give your pups all the love, cuddles, playtime, and attention they deserve! 🐾💕 Caring for my own two little dogs is already part of my daily routine, so welcoming another furry friend fits right in. I'm flexible with my schedule and happy to accommodate walks, potty breaks, feeding routines, and boarding needs! Your pup's safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities! 💕 I share a cozy apartment with two small dogs who are friendly little companions. I specialize in small dogs and always make sure each pup feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I'll follow your little one's usual routines, provide plenty of supervision, and send you cute photo updates for peace of mind. My goal is to make your pup feel right at home, like part of the family! 🐶🏡
“Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my pets! 100% recommend to anyone looking for boarding for their animals. My kitten LOVED being with Nalani so much he didn’t want to come back home! I will only be using Nalani from here on out when having to board my pets. I couldn’t have asked for better care for them she has A LOT of toys for them too.”

“I’ve been booking with Barbara for quite some time now and I just realized I might not have left a review. Barbara has been very accommodating, treats my Cleo so amazing, I can tell my baby is always happy in her home having a great time. She deeply cares about the furbabies she holds on to for us. Definitely recommend!”

About: For over 7 years, I’ve provided dedicated care for dogs of all breeds and ages. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, or extra cuddles, I treat every pet like family. Pet parents trust me to keep their furry friends safe, happy, and loved while they’re away. This will be a safe space for them. I work full-time Mon-Fri. However, Fri-Sun I have more than enough time to provide proper care and lots of attention to your furry friends. They're in good hands. During certain months there will be availability during weekdays I provide a safe, welcoming environment with a fenced backyard and one friendly cat, Kurin, for companionship. If needed, I can easily crate your pup. I always supervise playtime, ensure pets have fresh water, and give them plenty of love and attention so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I would like them to roam freely around the house unless specified otherwise. The goal is to try and recreate their normal routine, so they feel at home.

“As always, great amazing sitters for both my babies. This stay was a few nights, we got pictures and updates, I love that so much. I'm so sad that we're moving out of state this week. Wish we could take Jill & Liz with us! We won't find anyone else like them that cared for our babies like we do. Thank you so much Jill & Liz, you guys are truly the best and will be greatly missed. ❤”

“Haley, her kiddos and her doggies were wonderful to Chewie. Can’t wait to continue to have Chewie stay with her from now on when I work long hours. Chewie was happy and comfortable at her house, made me so happy!”
“I’ve never had my dogs literally excited once they realized they were being dropped off at a dog sitter before. This is my second time using Sara and when I was standing at her front door to drop them off, my elderly dog was scratching at the door to be let in! Both dogs immediately acted like she was family. Highly recommend”

“Alexis is by far the most considerate, conscientious and caring sitter. Excellent and meticulous attention, great communication - we couldn’t have asked for better care for our dog. I would highly recommend Alexis to anyone who wants personalized and dedicated caregiving for their pet. I will not hesitate to rebook.”

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for them. I helped care for my childhood dog while he had cancer, which taught me patience, compassion, and how to provide extra care when a pet is sick. I’m also comfortable with the everyday responsibilities of pet care, including feeding, cleaning up after pets, exercise, and keeping their environment clean. I currently have three Golden Retrievers of my own, who I absolutely love and consider part of my family. I work full-time, but I’m available after 5 PM Monday through Friday and I’m off all weekend. I enjoy spending quality time with my dogs and making walks and playtime part of my weekly routine. I would love the opportunity to give other pets the same attention, care, and companionship I give my own. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I follow their normal routines, provide fresh food and water, and give them plenty of attention, walks, and playtime. I’m also respectful of my client’s home and always keep the space clean and secure. Most importantly, I treat every pet as if they were my own and pay close attention to their behavior and needs.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
