About: As an animal lover and caretaker over the past 40 years, I have experience raising dogs through all ages of life from puppies to seniors & deaf dogs, as well as cats, and farm animals. This love for animals began even before I was a high school 4-H and FFA student working with large farm animals, growing up with cats and dogs. As a pet-sitter for others, I have cared for many kinds of animals in addition to cats and dogs. I was the Dog Leader for the Murphys 4-H for 7 years and assisted the kids in training their dogs to show at the fair. While I have experience training animals, I also love to offer them tender loving care, spending quality time with them, and being their friend. About: I have been owned by cats and dogs in the past. I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). About: I was raised on a ranch with all kinds of pets. I can't recall life without dogs we are so fortunate to have them in our lives they are unconditional in the love and affection they give . I was in dog rescue for 21 years as a foster. I had 7 dogs all were what was considered not able to be put in a home do to behavior issues the only option for these dogs was to be euthanized so I kept the rejects and had to stop rescue as to the inn was full and I still dog sat for the dogs that had been at my home until a new home was found . I have extensive experience with all types of dogs . I have a cat who pretends dogs do not exist so she just stays away, my cat was a ferel rescue cat and is now a fat and sassy house cat . I have a large home so have part of it sectioned off where her litter box and food are to keep dogs out of both . If I house sit I have experience with farm animals for feeding. I garden so watering is in my range. I'm home 80% of the time so I'm available. I may run a errand but that's about it . If weather permits and you have a road dog car rides with me are perfect. I spend a lot of my time cooking and blogging I cook for seniors in my community. If I'm gardening outside the dogs are welcome to be with me. I have a double lot so plenty of play room .
