My adaptable routine ensures consistent and attentive care for all pets. I’ve had experience both welcoming pets into my home and house-sitting for others. I’m based in Taos, where there’s a fenced yard and access to great hikes nearby. If I stay at your home, you can expect it to be well-cared for, left clean, and I can also manage tasks like plant care as needed. NOTE for boarding: I do have a cat. Any visiting dogs must be cat-friendly and respect cat boundaries.

About: All my life I have loved taking care of animals, which is why I worked for DogMountainLodge, a local pet lodging facility all through my high school career. There I gained experience in dogs with medical needs as well as disabilities. I was in charge of keeping track of medications and other needs for not just dogs but cats as well. I also gained experience on how dogs socialize with other unfamiliar dogs, and giving special attention for dogs who did not. I’ve also had experience in taking care of my own pets, as well as friend’s and family’s pets. About: Hi there! My name is Chandra, I am a big dog lover with two of my own, Murphy and Alo. Both dogs are rescues, super friendly, super laid back and always eager to make new friends. I live in a Earthship here in Taos, with plenty of acreage for the pups to explore and play. My property is also fenced in if your pooch tends to bolt. Love taking the animals for day hikes or quick dips at the river. My dogs go pretty much everywhere with me. My employer welcomes dogs to come spend the day at the office and even built a beautiful outside fenced in dog yard. Never a shortage of toys, treats or pets! I look forward to meeting your wonderful guy or gal! I work from home remotely, so my pups are with me 24/7. If I have a errand to run my Rover buddy comes right along with. I am with my dogs at all times. I’m super flexible as to when each dog wants to go outside (no set schedule). If your pup displays a desire to go outside, we go…. Multiple walks are good in my book. If your dog has a routine feeding program, I follow it. Whatever instructions the owner sets in place.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life including Great Danes, cats, bunnies, gerbils, fish and have been dog and cat sitting professionally for three years. Recently I lived and worked on a thousand-acre farm caring for cows, horses and goats, doing everything from feeding, cleaning and even bottle feeding. Bottom line is I love pets, and would love to meet your four-legged family members!! I currently work from my computer so I am very mobile and happy to be flexible with scheduling, etc. I love spending time with all animals so I make it a priority to fit this kind of work in. *If you have multiple pets and my site is quoting a large number for your sitting request, please know I am happy to look closer and find a good price for all! If I am giving care at your home my number one priority is your animal’s safety. That’s best implemented by focusing on your (the owner’s) rules and daily routines. Once I establish that, I focus on creating a special bond with your pet—it’s like they’re getting a new friend. If I’m boarding at my house my number one priority is to create a new and special routine that reflects their home routine but with new special elements. I have a very large yard and a safe neighborhood to take pets on walks, and as long as they are happy sharing space with a cat we have a really good time!

About: I have a love for all dogs big, small, young and old. For the past 2 years I have worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility which included puppies, senior dogs, and dogs that require extra understanding. I have 2 dogs of my own and it has taught me that every single dog is different and truly understanding them isn’t something you learn in a book, you gain that knowledge by listening to them…and their humans of course! I am currently not working so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pups. Boarding, house sitting and walks can be done any day of the week. While taking care of a dog in their own home, I know it is their space and I respect that. If your pup is a little restless and wants to play or go for a long walk, 1 of my dogs still has the energy of a puppy and would love to join!
