About: Hey there! I'm Tara Marksberry, and I absolutely adore animals! With 15 years of experience in pet sitting, veterinary offices, shelters, and boarding facilities, I've had the joy of working closely with furry friends of all kinds. I'm certified in pet CPR and first aid, and I pride myself on being dedicated, punctual, and loving in all aspects of pet care. Your furry companions deserve nothing but the best, and I'm here to ensure they receive just that. Thanks for your time, and have a wonderful day! I work full time from 8:00am to 5:00pm on the east side of Albuquerque. I am completely comfortable staying in your home and will generally remain there unless I’m running to the store or heading to grab something for dinner. Depending on the proximity of your home to my employer I may be able to conduct afternoon drop in visits. Early morning feeding or medication schedules are no problem! While at your home your pets safety is my first priority. I will never leave your pet unattended in the yard and make a habit of checking gates and fences while we’re outside. I will never open the front door in a manner that could allow a pet to escape and will not invite any unauthorized guests or my personal pets into your home. I like to provide picture updates to you throughout the stay so you can rest easy knowing your pets are happy and healthy. I do prefer to have written care instructions to reference so I make sure I’m taking the best possible care of your pets.

“Rachel is sweet and so kind to the pets. I felt very comfortable going out of town knowing she would come check in on my cats. Excellent first experience with the app and Rachel’s services.”

About: I’m a dog walker, but I don’t mind being a dog sitter over the weekend. I’ve had furry friends since I was 9. I can’t currently have any animals due to my living situation so let me show your four legged friend some love. I am available to walk mornings and evenings only. It is too hot during the day for me and especially for your dogs feet. I will not take your pet out during the heat of the day. I grew up around farm animals but my pets are kept inside. I walk them and play with them if they want. I owned the laziest husky mix before she passed.

“Time away was seamless. Shauna took great care of Cookie. She was timely and made sure Cookie had playtime Daily. I will definitely request Shauna for future jobs. Many thanks Rover!”

About: I have taken care of many dogs and cats over the course of quite a few years. I truly enjoy doing so. I love getting to see their different personalities and giving them that extra love while their people are away. I had my own dog as well for a few years. Fun fact: we shared the same birthday too! He was really my best friend. At the current moment my availability is fairly open throughout the week and anytime. I am open to mostly any hours currently. Book with me! I will make sure they are taken on walks, given some extra love, feed them, and play with them. They will be well taken care of with me.

About: I have extensive puppy and rescue training experience, and understand the struggles that come with having a high-maintenance dog, whether that is working on behavioral issues, fear of strangers, reactivity, or medical conditions. I have a soft spot for new rescues still learning their manners, as well as high-energy breeds. I’m happy to accommodate all of your pet’s needs! I am available for pet/house sitting and walks on weekends and throughout the work week! I have a flexible schedule so I can accommodate most needs. I will make sure to uphold all rules you have for your pets in your home and follow whatever routine is needed to ensure their comfort and a smooth transition when you get home! I’m happy to help out with any bathing/grooming needs that arise during our time together, as well as any training upkeep.

About: Growing up with pets instilled a love for all animals. I adopted my first cat 21 years ago and loved her-she was family. She inspired me to adopt even more family members, four dogs at once long ago. We now have a multi cat and dog house and would love to help take care of your family fur-babies! I currently work full-time but am available from Friday-Sunday for dog walking, home visits and overnight boarding in our home. We have a loving family with two children who love to dote on all animals. We have a large fenced yard with two playful dogs. We also have two indoor only cats. Our pets always have plenty of water, shade if outside and regular eating schedules.

About: Experienced in taking care of ill and healthy dogs, they are like children to me. I seem to have a knack for homeless dogs, they trust me, they come to me - they know when someone means well. I have never found a dog that I was afraid of. Very experienced at administering medication. I work part-time and schedule myself so if I have reservations for Rover I can work around my other schedule. I am available days, early evenings and weekends. Currently have a dog with cancer, I show dogs lots of love, hugs, playtime to make their life as special as possible when they are with me. I am very experienced at administering medication.

About: I’ve taken care of my dog for the past three years. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and play with their dogs. I am currently on paid time off, so I am available to walk your dog any time of the day. I prefer very early mornings. I have a fenced in yard with shade and water. My dog is also allowed inside the house where he can play with my kids.

Katelynn H.
“Katelynn is a dear friend, and over the years I've seen Kate take care of the wellbeing her own pets, as well as various animals that have come into her care via a registered local foster care program, or seeking out animals that need care. Kate prioritises the life, and wellbeing of the animals in her life, including those that she fosters. Sometimes I would even forget that they were foster pets due to how relaxed the animals were. Kate provides excellent care such as cooking home made meals, and snacks in batches, she's researched animal food heavily, because she simply cares about the animals in her life receiving proper nutrition. In terms of animal enrichment, Kate has made sure that the animals have proper enrichment via toys or activities. She frequently gives her dog, Chise, time outside to play, and socialise with other animals and people. When it comes to socialising, and animal behaviours, Kate actively teaches/encourages good behaviour, and also discourages bad behaviour. If an animal in her care”

Alex S.

“Alex has been wonderful! My cats warmed up to him quickly and he even brought them a toy! Thank you.”

Lorraine M.
“Lorraine was on a first date and saw a dog shaking in the middles of a busy intersection late one evening. She rescued a young Carolina breed dog and brought him to my house so she could continue the date. She probably would have taken him in but we were close by and agreed to keep him for her. He was a cutie and our old German shepherd to a liking to him. Alister and Jena are inseparable pals now❤️”
