I think Ruby could sense we were a little apprehensive about leaving Mercy with new people so she invited us out for a visit prior to the scheduled stay. Mercy loved it and we appreciated seeing how much thought was put into the spaces the dogs would be. They were also very accommodating with our requests. Mercy got her scoop of yogurt every morning and she never slept alone. :). Thank you so much Ruby for the Snapchat photos and videos. My pups are loved, cared for, and happy when they are there, and tired when they come home and that makes dog momma heart happy!!! I love spending time cuddling, giving belly rubs, sniffling frito feet, & running around the yard chasing them like a screaming banshee. I stay at friends & neighbors houses frequently when they're away to watch their dogs, cats, & fish. I also have friends & neighbors dogs over for weeks at a time. I've been doing this the since moving back to Wisconsin in April 2024. I love taking care of pets like their my own. Once I have a fenced in yard, I will welcome another dachshund into my life, but until then I fill my cup with caring for other's doggos & kitty cats. I'm excited to meet you! Extra treats for pugs & extra belly rubs for the heavy weights that can fetch & return! I work from home & the days I'm traveling for work will be unavailable to book. We'll spend all day together! I've got a spacious yard, large back deck that gets direct sun light for the one's that like to bake, & if they get along with other dogs, sometimes I walk over to my sisters with them to meet my favorite pug, Potato! I live in a duplex on the bottom floor so it's easy in & out, no stairs. My yard is massive with lots of plants & trees to sniff around. I'll always take my fur friends outside on a leash. I do have a small crate available for dogs under 15 pounds, toys, treats, & extra leashes just in case you forget something. Most importantly, I have a big lamby & a small lamby.

About: I have always had a dog growing up, so I learned from a very young age how to care for a pet. Friends and family have trusted me to take care of their dogs since I was around 12 years old. This includes stopping in the house to take them to the bathroom and feeding them, as well as giving medication if needed. Lots of snuggles and playtime too of course! I have taken care of dogs in the client's home for up to a week and cared for them at my home as well. No need to worry about any complex feeding schedules. I can manage it all. I am very comfortable with any age, breed, and sized dog! I have a one-year-old pup, so I am very familiar with training and puppy classes. I have volunteered at the humane society and when I was in high school, I job shadowed at a veterinary clinic. I currently work as a substitute teacher so my schedule is extremely flexible! During the summer months I am completely open. Weekdays and weekends any time of day. I make my own schedule so there will be no conflicts. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space for some off leash playtime! My dog loves to run around playing fetch with a ball or stick. I have a walking path across the street from my home and am walking distance to nature hill for some extra exercise. I always have water, waste bags and small treats with me when going on walks. (My dogs personal favorites are cheerios). I am comfortable walking with any leash, collar or harness. I have two kennels in my living room if your dog needs to be crated. At least one crate is big enough to fit a large or XL dog. I have a baby gate in front of my stairs, and the basement door is always shut. I personally love going to the pet store or drive thru to get my pet a pup cup! I would be more than happy to take your dog for an adventure and for some extra love and enrichment!

About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. I am new to Rover so please feel free to reach out with any questions. I have an acre of land (not fenced in). We love to go on walks and sniffaris at our local parks. Buckley loved to play with other dogs and Wila is more of a people dog. They even loves to go backpacking and hiking which often include 10+ miles a day.

If Lexus and your dog meet I'm sure they will be best of friends! Whether it's just a walk or they stay a few nights I cant wait to meet your pup! My schedule is very flexible. I am a stay at home mom, photographer, mua and an artist. I am open to last minute scheduling if needed or scheduling something further in advance. Something consistent and on going would be preferred but if it’s just a one time thing that is okay with me as well! For walks we will go on a walk around the block. If needed we will work on not pulling the leash. For a boarding visit I will get them all set up and comfortable in my house. If it’s nice out we will go for a walk and play outside. Playing indoors as well and working on tricks they know or maybe learning a new one. Potty breaks will be provided whenever needed and food will be given as directed.

About: I have had pets all my life. I have 5 of my own dogs of various shape and size and foster for a couple different rescues! I am very flexible, I'm available most of the time and love to meet new pets. I try to fit the needs of pet owners where I can. I don’t plan on doing any home care. About: I have always had a dog in my house growing up, so i understand the basics of dog care. Currently I work at a dog daycare. I've been working there for 2 years and it has helped me understand more about dog behaviors, and care for them efficiently and effectively. Before that I volunteered at the Jefferson Humane Society for 3 years helping clean out animal cages/rooms and providing affection to all the rescued animals. I'm looking for extra work during the summer in between my internship and job. Internship is 3 days a week, job is 2. So I don't have a bunch of time but I do have some open hours where I can do dog walks and some daycare shifts. I have a lot of experience with a variety of dogs and their behaviors. I can create dogs when needed and can walk dogs without any issues.

About: I am outgoing, energetic, and a happy over achieving girl! You can always trust me. I’ve had dogs between golden retrievers, beagles , labs, blue healers, German Shepard’s I’ve dog sat and have been around them all! And let’s just say they love me :) So I do have a crazy job, so if you’re looking for someone to be there all day I won’t be your girl, I usually work 6-10 hours every day tue-Friday my hours vary depending on the day of the week my thursday hours (12-8)(fri8-3)(every other Saturday 8-2) (Sunday off) Mondays I work one Monday a month (4 hours) (tue 9-5 sometimes vary)(wed 8-8) I do massage therapy full time. But when I dog sit I only go to work and tend to your dogs! I make no plans and hangout with my furry friends all my free time I walk my dogs every day! I keep the homes clean just like you left them! And I’ll give the dogs all the love and snuggles in the world
About: I have helped my family take care of our pets almost my whole life! Since moving out I’ve had my own pets (cats and dogs). I understand the importance of giving your pet attention while you’re gone, since they could be stressed with the change in routine! I’m a farm girl at heart! I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, sheep, ducks, chickens, cows, pigs, rats, hamsters….you name it! I work from home so I’m available to spend time with your pets throughout the day! As long as I have access to Wi-Fi I can work from anywhere! I am comfortable with crate training if your pet needs it. I follow direction very well so just leave me with a detailed note on how things run and I’ll keep it as consistent as possible for your pet!
About: I have had dogs ever since I was a baby. I have had a total of four dogs in my life along with 2 cats and 2 horses. I love animals and playing with my pups is my favorite thing. About: I've had dogs my whole life! Most have been middle size dogs - lab mixes, etc. I have experience with taking care of all size of pets though.I also walked dogs at a local humane society until I adopted my own bundle of joy! I have dog sat for all different sizes and types of dogs and genuinely enjoy being around them. Like I said above - I sometimes prefer dogs over people haha! I owned a pet sitting business for 5 years (2008 - 2012) and experience in general practice, emergency, specialty, and shelter medicine. Having a medical background allows me to pick up on medical issues and emergencies in a timely fashion, allowing for treatment if necessary. I am also able to administer medications as needed. I treat others' dogs the same way I treat my own pets and keep daily routines as close to their normal as much as possible. I work full time at a clinic and part time at the local humane society.
