The difference for Baku and Gojo was obvious as soon as we came home, like we had only gone out for groceries. About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

About: First and foremost, I’m a queer yoga teacher in the area and I haven’t used this account in least two years 😬 I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. At four, my family started fostering cats (mamas and kittens were my faaaav) and I would help out as much as I could. Yes, I did try to name a kitten Washcloth. No, my mom did not let it stand. This love for animals carried forward throughout my youth with four cats, a German Shepard mix, a malamute, a boxer and pit. I also really believe in positive reinforcement for your pets - they just want to make us proud. Truly a universal desire. I love long walks with dogs and lots of coregulation calm time. Trust that your babies will be treated like they are family. I am a yoga teacher and teach about 10 classes per week. Other than that I work remotely from my computer, so I can flex my time. I really value a slow paced life, so being able to really take my time and go for walks/hikes, cooking a gourmet dinner at home for myself and cuddling up with a good book. I have always been a very regimented, schedule following pet owner. I think it helps create consistency and eases anxiety for animals. Routines help animals thrive. I think frequent bathroom breaks are important. Long walks early in the day before the world is busy and it gets too hot in the summer are a priority. I also really love snuggling up and just having quiet, calm time with pets. I am happy to follow whatever guidelines/special requests pet parents have. I know how important it is to keep things consistent for pets! There’s never any judgement from me!

Her daughters seemed really engaged and loving on my dog, making me feel confident she was receiving all the love and affection she gets at home. When I picked her up, my dog seemed so relaxed, almost as if she hadn’t been gone all that time, helping me feel confident she was safe and loved on. Usually after boarding in a facility, my dog is highly anxious, extra agitated and disheveled. None of that here with Sarah. Her and her family were truly the best sitters. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs all my life. I grew up showing dogs, both my family dogs and others. My family back home currently has three dogs, each a different size, from small to large, so I have experience with all sizes. I live in a great area for casual walks, with a dog park and a small lake nearby for the pups that are allowed to swim! I work full-time, in-office Monday through Thursday and from home on Fridays. I take daily walks around my neighborhood in the evening. On weekends, I love exploring a new coffee shop and walking trail or just a longer walk in the areas near me. I’d love to bring your pet along with me on walks and for downtime on the couch afterwards! I don’t have a fenced yard, but there is a dog park where your pup can run freely. Outside of that, we have open grass areas where we can walk. All pups are welcome on furniture at my place and are welcome to enjoy the space as their own. I do have a patio that they’re more than welcome to sit outside and enjoy with me.
“We met Jennifer on a meet and greet and loved her. She ask a lot of questions about my dog and his routine. She responded quickly to text messages and always sent us updates and pictures of how Cooper was doing. I felt very confident in her caring for my dog. I would highly recommend her. We have a senior dog that had to take medication and she was fine with it. We will continue to ask her to care for cooper.”
