Your pet stays in the environment they know best, with their own bed, their own routine, and none of the stress that comes with a new place. In-home visits: Fresh food and water, litter box scooped or potty break handled, medications given as directed, and real time spent with your pet. Play, brushing, or a quiet lap sit, depending on what they're into. I don't rush in and out. Dog walking: Leashed walks at a pace that fits your dog, whether that's a brisk loop or a slow sniff around the block. I keep a close eye on other dogs and traffic, and I always clean up. While you're away: I'm happy to bring in mail and packages, adjust blinds, and keep an eye on things so your home looks lived in. I leave everything exactly as I found it. Before every booking I do a meet and greet so we can go over your pet's routine, quirks, medical needs, and anything that makes them nervous. I want to know where the leash lives and what your vet's number is before you ever leave. You'll get daily photo updates, and I'm always reachable if something comes up.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 4 years now! I’m comfortable with staying in your home for overnights or just visiting during the day for walks and play time! Willing to travel to wherever you’re located. I currently have a part-time job, where I work Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. I am able to meet your pet(s) both before and after work, and if I am currently sitting, I make your animals a priority in my routine! Whether you want me at your home or just to stop-in, I will promise you your fur babies will receive excellent care. At this time I can only care for animals at the clients home! I will follow all instructions given to me and I always communicate with the client on a daily basis on how your pets are doing!
About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. I have an incredibly flexible work schedule that will enable me to schedule my work hours around my hours caring for animals. I truly believe that animals are every bit as important as we are, and I think pet owners will be able to rest easy, leaving their pets in my care, knowing that their health and safety will be of the utmost importance to me! I have a two-story condo that they would be able to spend most of their time in with me. I also have a heated garage that I’ve converted into a safe and comfortable area for animals to play in. In addition to that, I live in Woodbury, literally surrounded by parks, full of walking paths that will be ideal for a dogs exercise. One thing I would like pet owners to know is that I’m not doing this for the money, I’m doing this because I’m newly single and alone and can’t think of anybody better to spend my time with than animals in need. I wouldn’t just be some dog watcher, I would be their friend that plays with them and loves being with them.
