About: I’ve taken care of many types of different animals for as long as I can remember. Starting on my family’s hobby farm. We had many kinds of birds, rabbits, and dogs. About: My husband and I have been watching dogs in our home for over 10 years. Our busy lives of work and family have always held us back from owning our own dog. To satisfy our love for dogs we started watching our friends and families dogs and over the years thru word of mouth we have started getting phone calls asking if we would take on more dogs and then joined Rover. We have experience with small to large dogs, dogs with special dietary needs, dogs that need to be able to run, dogs that want to sit on your lap, to dogs that have medical needs. We believe that dogs should be treated as part of the family. We allow them to sit on furniture, sleep in bed etc.. Our jobs have afford us the ability to be able to adjust our schedules to be flexible and have the option to work from home when we have a dog staying with us. This allows us to be home with your dog to ensure they are getting plenty of play time, outside time and lots of attention. It is very rare that your dog will be home alone for a period of time. Our home is your dogs home... we give the dogs full access to the house. We are non smokers and do not have any pets of our own or small children. We walk the dogs twice a day and have an acre of land that dogs are free to roam, run and play -we like to play ball and tug a rope. We do provide a ground stake with a leash for those that like to run "free". We have ability to work from home and have very flexible schedules when needed. Which in turn allows us to very rarely leave your dog home alone We treat the dogs just as if they were our very own pet.. as part of the family. They have free range of the house .. on the furniture and beds.

Offer enrichment and lots of space to run and play! **FYI** if anyone is uncomfortable boarding at my home because we have dogs, we are more than happy, and capable of keeping your pet completely separate while still giving them a positive experience with plenty of space and love. Update 08/13/25 Just to be EXTRA cautious, unless you request otherwise, we will be keeping our dogs separate at all times. I currently have an open schedule so will build and work around everyone as I go. Working on building a great efficient and FUN routine! I have a fully fenced in back yard to play in and lots of toys and enrichment stuff to do while here, can also bring enrichment to other homes. About: I love taking care of dogs. I will walk your dog in the Spring, Summer and Fall in good weather. Your dog will have my 3 year old Maltese to play with. I’m CPR trained and if needed, with calling you first, take your dog to my home town ER hospital (hope we never need to use that). Your dog must be potty trained for outside. My grandchildren all love dogs, they visit sometimes. I have been with dogs all my life. So rest assured I’ll take care of your dog while I take care of mine and my grandchildren. About: Our family loves animals. We have a comfortable home with a large yard. We have three caring boys that love pets. We are not quite ready to bring a dog into our home full-time because of traveling, but we love to have the company of a pet from time to time. Recently, our youngest has been showing allergy symptoms, so we are only able to watch hypo-allergenic dogs. The dog is treated like our own and spoiled during their stay with us. I work from home with my skincare business, so most of the day, I am home with the pets. We welcome potty trained dogs to our home that do well with children. We can adjust our care style to what makes you most comfortable. I also love to do drop in visits and fill the Rover cards with lots of info and pictures to keep your mind at ease. For these visits, the dogs can be any breed. I work from home and set my schedule, so being a Rover sitter is a nice little extra for me. It is easy to work with and around schedules. We have a large, unfenced backyard. We take dogs on nice walks around our neighborhood. We only board one dog at a time, so it feels like a family setting.

I am able to take care of dogs Monday through Saturday, times may differ, but usually free throughout the day, afternoon and evenings generally preferred! About: I am training my own dog as a psychiatric service animal and have learned much going through this process. I am not a licensed trainer, but I do have experience in that area, which I enthusiastically bring to each walk. About: I have taken care of multiple friends pets for days , if not weeks straight. I've worked at multiple shelters helping out with dog walking and cleaning , and I've also volunteered at functions to raise funds for shelters. The joke is with my faculty I am the resident dog guru. I am a teacher so i'm able to do very early walks starting at 5:30am. I have to be at work by 7:30 am. I am done with school by 4:30, except January- March when I have to be back to director musical practice. If you need someone to how sit your pet. I guarantee that I will try my best to be at the house and not running errands, except to go to work. I'm a big believer in if I'm taking care of an animal in their own home that I need to be at that house as long as I possibly can because that pet deserves the companionship and the freedom to be let out to play. About: I owned a dog for over a decade, and babysat dogs/ cats many times. I worked with animals at a zoo so I’m good at reading them and respecting their boundaries! I work second shift (3-11pm) M-F so check ins would work best for those days. I can still dog/cat sit during the weekdays if you’re are okay with your pets being alone for a full shift, or being watched by my parents (while pets are boarded at our house). My weekends are completely open! I have a large backyard and tennis court. I also live near a very nice bike trail for long walks. I have no other animals in the house. About: Hello! I've been taking care of pets every since my professors at my university trusted me to dog-sit in their homes. I've always had a love of animals. As a child I spent most of my free time volunteering at my local animal shelter by walking dogs to give them a break and fresh air or training them to help them be more likely to be adopted. As an adult I've worked as a zookeeper (my all-time favorite animal to care for are probably lemurs) and as a high school biology teacher. I've normally utilized word of mouth to grow my pet-sitting business, but since I've recently moved to a smaller town, I decided to test out Rover.
