As he is newly adopted, a puppy (at 7 mos), was abused in his very early puppyhood, and suffers some ongoing anxiety, to say I was nervous about how he was going to do was an understatement. Upon meeting Rachel at the meet & greet, I was instantly at ease. She has a calm and soothing demeanor, and was such a perfect fit for him, that I could not believe our luck. It felt like the universe conspired to make sure SHE would be his first sitter, so he can continue to learn that the world has many kind and loving people in it. Rachel was a proactive communicator, sharing pictures and updates, sometimes almost at the exact moment I found myself thinking, "I wonder what they're up to?" I was able to relax and put my focus where it needed to be: with my extended family for my mom's memorial service. I cannot express what a gift it was to not have to worry about this sweet little guy for my first time away from him. As I look ahead to future travel, I'll check in with Rachel first.”

About: Right now, I have 2 pets in my life. My parent's dog Ada, a 6 year old mutt who loves to cuddle, and my cat, Morgana, a 4 year old tuxedo who loves to play! I grew up with dogs and I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, dogs with cancer and other illnesses, and helped a dog through a seizure. I also have volunteered at an animal shelter (Homeward Pets) and spent time with dogs of many different ages, sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. During this time I fed the dogs, cleaned their kennels, bathed them, and played with them. I have also lived with two cats of very different personalities so I also have experience feeding & playing with cats of different ages and temperaments. I recently graduated from the University of Washington with my Master's in Museum Studies. As I'm trying to get a job, I'm looking for ways to increase my part-time income. I think it’s important to keep things as much the same as possible for your pets in order to decrease stress so I will always follow any house rules. If that means no dogs on the couch, then no dogs on the couch. Or not feeding them human food, I’ll make sure they only get their food no matter how cute they’re looking! I will also make sure I spend no less than 2 hours at an owner’s home playing with your animals where all my attention is on them. I do know pet-related first aid and dog CPR although I’ve luckily never had to use it. I will make sure to give regular updates to the owner and contact them in the case of any emergencies. I want to create a loving and safe environment for your pets so in trusting me with your pets, I can promise that they will be loved and cared for!

We had an issue the morning after we left for our trip out of state where a neighbor broke into our apartment and Mike went out of his way to retrieve Zeus and get him home safely, truly did not have to do anything extra but he did and it meant the absolute world to us. About: I have owned and cared for pets for all of my life but it’s been a big part of my life over the last several years. Friends have dropped off pets at my home on 1.5acres, close into Woodinville. My own pets are very, happily socialized to enjoy visiting pets. There is a large fenced, fully landscaped yard to wander and always attention, pat’s and treats to go around. I will be working part time so no more than a few hrs away from the home a couple days a week. Fun times ahead! I have a large, fenced yard and a monitored doggy door to allow for potty brakes and free roaming. My dogs are well socialized and a little on the older side so tend to just hang out during the day.

About: I bring a lifetime of experience in caring for animals and live on 10 acres of wooded pastures with 3 horses, dogs, cats, and a house rabbit. My personal pack of four rescue dogs get along well with any new dog I introduce to the family. Beyond my work with animals, I raised two children and dedicated 18 years to volunteering in our local school district, where I passed multiple background checks and supported various programs and events in schools and classrooms. My property is quiet and away from any traffic yet located just a mile from a major highway making it easy to get to for drop off and pick up! I am home everyday and spend most of my time with the animals in my care. I am happy to be flexible on timing for drop off or pick up windows and can pop in for drop in visits to give you a helping hand. In my home pets will be fed twice a day and have off leash time to relax or play with friends. If they are crate trained they will have their own crate to retreat to and dog beds to rest on. My dogs enjoy meeting new friends and provide a comforting pack to show new dogs the ropes. Outside, I always work on name recall with new dogs on leash and when they get to know me they will have supervised off leash time. Our sweet family golden retriever/lab rescue doggie passed away in 2018 at age 10.5, so I also have experience with medical care for older dogs. I have two dog-loving young kids at home. We'd be honored to take care of your sweet doggie! I work from home, so I'm flexible to come play and walk your pups throughout the day. My preferred schedule is last mornings (between 9-12) and afternoons before 3:30 pm, but I'm willing to coordinate with you for what supports you and your pup best. For walks, I'm very active, strong, and calm under pressure. If you're booking a stay at my home, I have a large fenced yard with an energetic and sweet 2-year-old intermediately trained dog to keep them company. She is also crate trained! I work from home and will keep a good eye on your pup.

About: I’ve cared for all ages of dogs ranging from puppies (6 weeks and up preferably) to seniors and I’m very comfortable administering medications and treatments. About: I’ve had and worked with dogs my entire life, from small to extra large. They’ve all come with different personalities and challenges. I enjoy learning about each dog’s strengths and weaknesses. I am currently working on the weekends and have a consistent client whose dog I walk between 10 and 12 every week day. If you desire an exit bath before your dog goes home please let me know. 🐾 I enjoy working on agility training with one of my dogs who is very athletic and to expand my training knowledge, I continue to work with local dog trainers. Beyond my work with animals, I raised two children and dedicated 18 years to volunteering in our local school district, where I passed multiple background checks and supported various programs and events in schools and classrooms. My property is quiet and away from any traffic yet located just a mile from a major highway making it easy to get to for drop off and pick up! I am home everyday and spend most of my time with the animals in my care. I am happy to be flexible on timing for drop off or pick up windows and can pop in for drop in visits to give you a helping hand. In my home pets will be fed twice a day and have off leash time to relax or play with friends. If they are crate trained they will have their own crate to retreat to and dog beds to rest on. My dogs enjoy meeting new friends and provide a comforting pack to show new dogs the ropes. Outside, I always work on name recall with new dogs on leash and when they get to know me they will have supervised off leash time. Additionally, your dog may enjoy a walk to our horse barn and discover a world of sensory enrichment for their nose! In your home I can play with and feed your kitty or your pups and provide any care they need and can feed on the schedule that you request.
