About: I have loved and adored dogs since I was able to walk on my own. I have owned a large number of dogs over the years. My wife and I currently own a Brittany, a Golden Collie, and an old herding dog. My dogs enjoy a huge fenced back yard while also having 12 acres to run around and burn energy. I am a caretaker of my father in law and am at home during the day. I own three dogs that love socializing and meeting new friends I live on 12 acres can walk and play with your dogs. I have several dog crates for evening sleeping if needed (larger breeds may need to provide their own). Access to water to play in, drinking water, treats and training time. I have cared for a blind senior cat as well as a cat with hip problems, which required patience, close monitoring, and adapting the environment to keep them safe and comfortable. About: Hi, I’m Brian! I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had dogs and cats around the house, and it’s a tradition I’ve proudly continued into adulthood. Sadly, both of my beloved pugs passed away over the last few years. Right now, it's just me and my cat, Vader, so I would absolutely love to welcome a canine (or another feline) presence back into my home! I work at WSU and live a quiet, peaceful life here in Colfax. Because my home is a kid-free environment and I spend a lot of my time here, your pet will get plenty of focused attention, companionship, and love. About: I have been growing up around dogs my whole life. As a child and into my teen years, I did the Dog project in 4-H for five years and helped lead the group. I have experience handling and training dogs for obedience and show environments, and I am comfortable with all pets! I have been house-sitting in the summers for many different dog-owners, so I am knowledgeable and experienced in providing care for these animals. My parents' dog (aka "my" dog) is a German Shorthaired Pointer and his name is Murphy. I spend a lot of time with him, and I have a special spot in my heart for all animals. I do not work weekends and am usually very available if I have not marked it off on my Rover calendar. If your animal is okay/used to being alone for the work day, or can be alone for 4-5 hours at a time, I am the fit for you during the week. About: My experience with dogs has ranged from personal ownership: (raised with two mixed breeds, and owned a WHIPPET for fourteen years), to boarding dogs, to working at a doggie daycare, and working for a dog walking company. Currently I am a stay at home mom to three kids- so I am home most of the time, including weekends. If I do step out, for errands, appointments, and such, I will absolutely make sure your pet has had enough walks/potty breaks. We have a fenced yard, and a great neighborhood for walking. My family, and I will work consistently to make sure your pooch feels comfortable, and loved. That said, for safety reasons I choose not to share photos of my kids on my profile page- regardless, they are great with dogs! My time is flexible in that I can work around my families schedule to provide boarding for your pet(s). We look forward to meeting you/them! About: I have had pets since I was born, and from age 5 I started to help withtheir care. I have always had a deep love for animals. About: I had my own dog for 10 years before he passed. I occasionally foster for the Whitman county humane society so I have experience taking care of puppies and older dogs, as well as those who need medications. My availability is currently wide open and I would love to spend my time helping other people take care of their furry loved ones! I also have experience with different forms of leashes (i.e. gentle leaders, harnesses, etc.). I understand the importance of repetition for dogs and will do my best to keep to your schedules and the way you do things. About: I have had animals my whole life and grew up on a farm. I’ve house sat and pet sat for family friends since I was a little girl. I love all animals and giving them the proper support each one needs. I have a job at a coffee shop I only work some weekends at for a few hours. I’m open to work around your pets schedule. I don’t have a fenced yard and would prefer not to bring pets in my own home. I have pets at my own house and would prefer not to mix them.
About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This last summer I also interned at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I managed the foster care system behind the scenes. For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!
About: I’ve taken care of a good amount of breeds from huskies to chihuahuas. I have loved every single one that it melts my heart every time i see them. I have a dog of my own and she’s a sassy silly lazy girl. I enjoy cuddling with dogs and just having fun with them. Going on walks, playing with toys, watching a movie and going through a roller coaster of emotions, i can do a lot with dogs! i can also ensure that i will provide as much goofy photos of possible if wanted (i will be taking because its funny and brings up the vibes) I work super early so I’m available for majority of the day. About: I have owned pets my entire life including dogs, cats, chickens, and hamsters! At the moment, my family has 2 dogs and a cat that I help care for when I am home from school. About: I have been taking care of medium sized dogs for 16 and a half years. I have lived with dogs a large majority of my life with having four dogs living together for a few years. I have also had a cat for 18 years and two years ago got another. I currently have two medium sized dogs and two cats. I have helped train my dogs, walk, feed, and play with them. About: I've taken care of all kinds of animals since a young age. I worked in my mother's grooming business starting at age 9 and continued on until age 12. I also have volunteer experience at two places, a cat and dog rescue facility. I have a pet, a cat, of my own and previously owned many different kinds of pets including dogs, cats, birds, horses, etc. I have a lot of experience caring for animals, I can bathe and clip nails, administer medicine by mouth, and I do well with hard to handle animals. I don't discriminate by breed, so pitbulls and other bully breeds are welcome! I am currently a full time college student, so afternoons work better for me. But if needed I can work other times as I understand how hard it is to find sitters. I currently cannot bring pets to my home as I am in an apartment, but I can easily come to your home. About: I have been walking and pet sitting dogs since I was 16. I have looked over a variety of different dogs, from old to young, big to small, and calm to crazy. About: I have been growing up around dogs my whole life. As a child and into my teen years, I did the Dog project in 4-H for five years and helped lead the group. I have experience handling and training dogs for obedience and show environments, and I am comfortable with all pets! I have been house-sitting in the summers for many different dog-owners, so I am knowledgeable and experienced in providing care for these animals. My parents' dog (aka "my" dog) is a German Shorthaired Pointer and his name is Murphy. I spend a lot of time with him, and I have a special spot in my heart for all animals. I also spent a couple years co-parenting a little calico cat named Stitch with my best friend. I do also have some experience with reptiles, as I currently have one bearded dragon and one Pac-Man frog in my care. I am unable to have a dog or cat of my own at this stage in my life, due to money and living restraints, but I am thankful when I can spend time with others’ animals in this way. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend and give them lots of love! I am currently a Graduate Admissions Specialist / DSO at the University of Idaho! This means that I do work full-time (8-5 with a 1-hour lunch break) on campus on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and I work full-time from home on Thursdays. I do not work weekends and am usually very available if I have not marked it off on my Rover calendar. If your animal is okay/used to being alone for the work day, or can be alone for 4-5 hours at a time, I am the fit for you during the week.
