About: Hi, my name is Amber-rae, I am 22 years old and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — I’ve cared for everything from barnyard animals to beloved family pets since I was 9 years old. Dogs have always been by my side, and I welcomed my very own pup into my life at just 10 years old. With a lifetime of experience, I know how to keep tails wagging, paws moving, and pets happy, safe, and loved. We’ve got two beautiful boy cats at home who are our only pets at the moment. But i often care for my mothers dogs, she has 6 of them, four little Havaneese and two giant mastiffs At home our cats have free roam or the house and are only sometimes locked in their bedroom (the bathroom) because that’s where their food and litter box is. They’re given plenty snuggles and love, especially from my daughter, they love to play and cuddle on her bedroom floor. I'm so happy to say that we finally found one that does more than just food, water and litter. Our previous sitter was in and out in 20 minutes, tops. She hardly said hi to the cats, and certainly never took time to play with them. Jessica, on the other hand, spent time with them, interacted with them, and sent us photos of them – which were very much appreciated. Of course, she also was on top of the food, water and litter, and she also swept the floors that invariably get tracked with cat litter, and she most likely cleaned up a few other cat messes – but the time she spent interacting with them was so much appreciated – both by us, and I’m sure, the cats. I'm sure the kitties are both lonely and bored while we're gone - so even spending 10 extra minutes interacting with them is so important, and Jessica was often there longer than the 30 minutes we booked. About: Hello! My name is Meaghan, my husband’s name is Joseph, and we love animals! I will be the primary caregiver while my husband takes care of boarding in our home! I grew up on an extensive ranch in Oregon and have always had many varied pets/farm animals growing up. My love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. We are a fun loving family of four, living on a small (wanna be) farm with our dog Larry and a flock of hens. Larry was a rescue from the humane society- and despite her rough start, she is ridiculous sweet. She can be both playful and lazy- a great combination for a playdate. The house yard is dog friendly- very large and fully fenced. My home is equally dog friendly- relaxed with plenty of room to get comfortable. I have a work from home situation, so your furry friend/family member will get plenty of love and good attention. I (and my family) are very animal - and people- focused. About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been part of my everyday world. From a young age, my life has revolved around animals and helping them become the best versions of themselves. Some of my earliest experiences were with cats, including a feral rescue named Misty I bonded with closely as a child. Over the past fifteen years, I’ve gained extensive experience working with animals through long-term, hands-on care. My background as a Golden Retriever breeder has given me perspective on how different animals can be, even within the same breed. Every animal has unique preferences, behaviors, and ways of communicating, and learning to recognize those differences has been a major part of my experience. I’m comfortable managing multiple animals at once and handling a range of needs without becoming overwhelmed. I’m most accustomed to larger dogs, but my experience raising puppies has given me the delicacy and awareness needed to care for smaller animals as well. I’m especially familiar with puppies under six months old, including their unpredictable behavior and the extra attention they require. I’ve also worked with dogs that can be semi-reactive in certain situations. While I’m not willing to take on dogs that are broadly aggressive, I retain the right to assess the dog before accepting. I’m most comfortable with working with dogs that are borderline reactive but not reactive-aggressive. About: I've been around animals most of my life and have spent lots of time taking care of them whether they be my own, friends, or relatives I generally don't have anything going on most days so I'm usually available. Tuesdays and Thursdays are busy but if it's after 5pm I can stop by if needed. If they are low energy I usually stay inside with them, take them out when needed, make sure they have water, fed at the right time, etc. If they're high energy then I take them for a walk, play in a fenced yard, nearby dog park, or if there is a good place inside the house to do so then maybe there as well. It all comes down to what the pets need at what time.
