“Our pups got so excited and pulled us into Maria’s house. They love going to Maria’s, we love that they are so happy to greet her! Always a fantastic experience, thank you Maria. See you soon!”

“Leaving my 21 month Boston with Kirsten and her family for 6 nights was my first experience of leaving my dog with anyone overnight. We have been together almost 24/7 since I got her as a puppy as I work remotely. We had a fantastic experience! At the meet and greet Kirsten made the effort to connect and relate to Lucy and invited us to experience where she would be living and playing. As well as introducing her to dogs she would be playing with. It all was very reassuring. Lucy clearly enjoyed Kirsten and her family. She was happy to be there, and it was the perfect place! I’m happy to know now that Lucy can stay at Kirsten’s to so I can feel free to travel through the future! Highly recommend!!”

“It surprisingly, Kathy & Craig were great. They are very thorough in their preparation, care, and communication. A high level of professionalism, practical know-how, flexibility, and genuine love of dogs are hallmarks for this caregiver. Highly recommended!”

“James is very easy to work with. He provided great care to my girl with frequent updates. There’s no better peace of mind than knowing your fur baby is in good hands while you’re away.”

“The best people I’ve ever left Arbor with. They really went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable. Sent pictures regularly. Even gave her a bath and brushed her! Will 100000% book again!”

“Jennifer is AMAZING! Very easy to work with, communicates well, and is flexible. She took Lola Rae on two walks a day and sent updates with pictures.”

“Colleen was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was warm, kind, and sent lots of updates. I felt safe leaving my fur daughter with her and would definitely go back. Thanks, Colleen! ❤️”

“Donna is great! Our dog doesn't always get along well with other dogs and we have never had a problem with him staying with her and getting along with other pups in her home. We're very lucky to have found her. Her husband is also very nice.”

“Scooby was treated like a king! Kayla’s kids always made sure he was nice and comfortable. Her husband took him on runs and he was made to feel like part of the family. We will definitely use Kayla again.”

“Tomas was great with Sally. Very communicative and always let me what was going on, and sent the sweetest pictures. Sally also got along really well with his pup, and they became fast friends. I will definitely book overnight stays and daycare again!”

“Josh was absolutely wonderful with my very opinionated bulldog over a long weekend. He was easy to communicate with, thoughtful and my pup was so happy and cared for when I picked her up. Would recommend Josh to anyone and will definitely be calling him again!”

“First, logistically Samantha was awesome. She got us in last minute and was tolerant/patient as our return was delayed a few hours. For the actual dog portion, even better. Our _slightly_ neurotic dog seemed to have a great time and the pictures sent throughout the stay were so cute and made us feel at ease. We will definitely be booking again for our next trip(s).”

“Thank you MIranda!! I was a very high maintenence customer and Miranda stood by me the whole time! She sent regular updates on potty walks and poops, nap times, and meal times. She was so gracious and flexible with my up and down schedule. She is an above and beyond sitter! Your fur baby is in good hands.”

“Daisha and her husband were amazing!! My dog Xena does best in a household where she is the only dog and I’m so glad we found Daisha! We did a first introduction about a week or two before the dates booked so they could meet and get familiar with each other which went well. While Xena was boarded they sent pictures and updates at least once a day explaining how she was doing and adjusting. Thankfully Xena was comfortable and there were no problems but I’m certain if there was, we would be able to find a solution. Overall I am extremely happy I booked with Daisha and her husband and would definitely book again!!”
“Kristina responded quickly to my last minute request. She was open to chatting with me to learn about him and how she could make him comfortable. Even though my dog has some behavior problems, Kristina was still open to working with him. She kept us up to date with pictures and comments on how he was doing. She treated my dog very well. I wouldn't hesitate to have Kristina watch my dog again in the future.”

“Mike was a true gift during a very emotional and busy time. With family in town for my father’s funeral, I needed a peaceful place for my dog Bo to stay for a few days. Mike and Shari welcomed him into their beautiful, woodsy home—with picture windows that Bo immediately wanted to look out, and a calm, comforting vibe. When I picked him up at the end of his stay Bo was a relaxed and happy dog! Thanks guys!”

“Kristin was very accommodating towards Milo who is a reactive dog! I appreciate her thoroughness in our meet and greet and she did a great job taking care of Milo while we were on our trip. I had no worries while we were away. Will def book again!!”

“Brenda was a wonderful sitter for Penny! She was responsive, detail orientated, sent the best pictures, and I could tell she really cared about Pennys wellbeing! Would highly recommend.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Jean-Paul. We have had a tough time finding a cat sitter capable of dealing with our grumpy cat, but Jean-Paul was not deterred and handled him without issue. He gave all feedings and administered medication with ease and took extra time to give both our cats some love and playtime. He paid special attention to the litter box and water dishes, as well as the state of our house while we were away, even checking on our plants and opening some windows to air out of he house when it was unseasonably warm. His updates were informative and humorous, and put our minds at ease while we were away. Any cats would be lucky to get to hang out with Jean-Paul while their owners are away!”

About: Hi I'm Morgen. I'm a seattleite who relocated to Vashon Island for a quiet farm life. I live on 2.5 acres of woodland, half of which is fully fenced with 8ft tall deer fencing. There is plenty of room to run free and explore safely. It is honestly dog paradise! Dog boarding clients have affectionately referred to it as Camp Morgen as their dogs come home happy and tired. I have a background in working with kids but had to take a break due to disabling health conditions. Pet sitting, and in particular dog boarding, allows me to provide for myself while being unable to work a full time regular job. I have been taking care of animals my whole life, starting with dog walking and cat sitting as a child. I have two rescue dogs of my own, Freyja and Juji. They reflect each halves of my soul respectively. Freyja is a skeptic who loves to lounge. Juji loves everybody and wants to go on every adventure. They enjoy other dogs but do require proper introductions with new friends to make sure all personalities jive. I have dabbled in sheep herding with Juji, and trained both dogs myself. I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, shy dogs, reactive dogs, big dogs, little dogs, and medically complex dogs, as well as cats and farm animals! Send me a message if you'd like my help caring for your furry friend! I am home most days so I am able to be attentive and provide high quality care. I am available for short and long term stays, daycare, or home visits to check on cats or farm animals while you are away. My fenced property allows dogs to roam free and explore safely. Dogs are welcome in my home and on my furniture unless you prefer them to stay off. We generally play lots of fetch, go for walks in the woods or around the neighborhood, take trips to the beach, and have lots of snuggles. Cat visits and farm care includes morning and evening visits to do head counts, say hello, feed, clean litter, and lock/unlock coops. I am highly communicative and can send lots of pictures of your critters upon request.

About: A few years ago, after caring for her two cats for several weeks, a friend remarked about how she was proud to have converted me into a cat lady. I enjoy the company and independence of cats and always have a lovely time looking after them.

About: I’ve had cats in my life throughout my life. My cat was awesome, I trained him to use the toilet and he loved playing with feather toys and lasers. I’m not able to have a cat at the moment so taking care of them/housesitting is a good option to get to still chill with that kitty energy
“Ella could not have been a better fit for my timid cat. While he wasn't much for playing, he did find the courage to come out from hiding to see her every day. So grateful for her kindness and patience in watching him while I enjoyed a much needed vacation.”

About: have 2 years of hands-on experience caring for cats and genuinely enjoy making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. My experience includes feeding, brushing, litter box care, playtime, and providing plenty of attention based on each cat’s individual personality and needs. I understand how important routine and patience can be for cats, especially in their home environment. Whether your cat is social and playful or more shy and independent, I take the time to help them feel comfortable and respected. I’m also comfortable administering medications with clear instructions and always aim to provide dependable, attentive care and regular updates for pet parents.
About: We have taken care of very independent dogs since we were a young child, Husky, Pitbull, Shiba Inu. Lived previously with a Gendo mix breed who was 9 years old at the time. We are studying for a visual design/web developer - UI/UX position for the past 3 years and have a lot of free time throughout the week. We go on 4 walks, 1 large walk in the morning to Jefferson Community Center and if approved let the dogs walk leash-less if they can follow commands well, have a feeding upon return, take a periodic smaller walk until about dinner time 6pm when we take an additional walk back to Jefferson Community Center but a different route (see the occasional family of bunnies), return for feeding, and before bed a few hours later go on a finale restroom/potty walk.
About: What sets me apart is my combination of lifelong hands-on experience and professional knowledge of animal care. I’ve had dogs for most of my life and have always shared my home with cats. Growing up, my family bred our dog, and I helped raise and potty train the puppies before they went to their forever homes. That experience taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement from an early age. Today, I’m a high school Animal Science teacher, where I teach students about animal health, behavior, welfare, and responsible care. I enjoy working with dogs of all ages, especially reinforcing good manners and basic training. Friends and family often ask me for help with training their dogs, and I love helping build confidence through positive reinforcement. I’m also experienced administering medications and following detailed care instructions, so I’m comfortable caring for pets with special medical or daily care needs. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy, an adult dog who loves adventure, a senior who prefers a slower pace, or a cat who enjoys a calm companion, I’ll provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care tailored to their individual needs. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while giving you peace of mind through regular updates and photos. Since I’m a teacher on summer break I have lots of weekday availability right now. I have very flexible availability, if you don’t see the time/days you need on my schedule, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask. I have a fenced in yard and an XL wire kennel in a calm area your furry friend is welcome to use. My dog, Lady, is very sweet and gets along really well with other dogs (even her grumpy old cousin). She loves playing with others, but I can keep her separated as needed. My cat, Mister, he is okay with other dogs coming over and just hangs out in his own space until he can trust the new doggo. I will treat your pet with the love and care I give to mine. I will follow any rules, commands, and training practices that you use with your pet. I use force-free, reward-based training to build clear communication, trust, and reliable everyday behavior. I have experience with gentle leaders, no-pull harnesses, and structured collar systems when appropriate for safety and handling. I can help with: * Loose-leash walking & pulling * Leash reactivity / frustration * Basic obedience (sit, down, stay, recall) * Recall in distracting environments * Impulse control & leash manners My approach is tailored to each dog’s temperament and focuses on real-world success and consistency between sessions. I also make sure to review each pet’s profile so owners don’t have to repeat information. For severe aggression or complex behavioral cases, I’ll communicate honestly if a certified behaviorist may be a better fit.

Perfect for high energy dogs - Vashon
“Maria is fantastic! Marky is hesitant when it comes to interacting with people and dogs when I am not with him but Maria showed him there was nothing to fear! They take beautiful walks together, naps with his friends, and gets to play all day in a pack. He comes home tired and happy when the day is done. Maria really loves all of the dogs like her own”

“We can't say enough great things about Mimi's care and love for our little Vinnie. She was warm and friendly, obviously a great dog person. We were at our daughter's wedding a few miles away, and she sent us a photo and description of Vinnie obviously doing fine. Thank you Mimi!”

“My dogs had a blast! They have a nice big yard to run around in. My dog Sophie even seemed happy! She is usually very scared and nervous. They send photos of the dogs during day . Anna is very nice. I would recommend her .”

“We are very pleased with Cathleen and how well she cared for Lucy. We had a meet & greet first and then scheduled Lucy’s first visit for today. All I can say is that it’s a good life for a dog if they spend the day with Cathleen! Walks, beach, and naps!”

“Thanks to Kayla & family we had a great first time experience on Rover! Super responsive, accommodating, and let me bring Frankie for a visit to meet them the day before. Her kids loved on our dog and she sent pictures of Frankie snuggling😊”

“Jennifer sent pictures and updates throughout the day, and went above and beyond to make Apollo comfortable. I'll definitely send Apollo there again when we're out skiing!”

“Shannon was fantastic with my nervous rescue senior chihuahua mix. I received regular updates throughout the day, and my dog got more walks and more company/attention than if I had left her at home to work. Shannon also made sure to ask about a potential vet to contact in case of emergencies and was generally very considerate. Truly, a godsend.”
“Kristina is an amazing furbaby sitter, and we are so grateful for the care and attention she gives to Enzo every time he stays with her. Enzo is a regular with Kristina, which says a lot about the trust and comfort we feel leaving him in her care. She is dependable, kind, and truly treats him like family. We always appreciate the updates, love, and patience she gives him, and it gives us peace of mind knowing he is safe, happy, and well cared for. Enzo always comes home relaxed and happy, and we highly recommend Kristina to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter! 🐾”

“Such a wonderful feeling when you finally found a great sitter for your pup! Zoie has never been this happy being away from me! It only goes to show that Daisha and Tam did a fabulous job of caring for and treating my pup like their own. I would definitely use their services again and highly recommended.”

“Tomas is a great host! Very accommodating for my two senior golden retrievers on short notice. Excellent communication and a warm atmosphere. Will absolutely be booking again. Thanks Tomas!!”

“Luisa was excellent! We got tons of updates, pictures and our pup was so well cared for throughout the day. We were so grateful for her. Incredibly flexible, patient, and kind. Highly recommend!!”

“Dash seemed to have a great time on his first stay (2 daycare days) with Tamar. I appreciate that she opted to walk him extra rather than taking him to the dog park on his first day because, she explained, she didn't feel like he'd bonded with her yet and was concerned he wouldn't come when called at the park. Hooray for following her educated instincts and keeping my guy safe! The second day, she took him to the park and I got fabulous pictures of them frolicking. Dash was happy to see me when I picked him up, but he also was wagging his "nub" (tail) and giving Tamar kisses, which tells me he attached to her. Then he went home and slept slept slept -- perfect! I think staying with Tamar is also going to help Dash with his socialization. There's a lot more activity at her house -- dogs, kids, cat(s) (though she separates them as needed) -- than in our quiet, kid-free house. I feel good about his learning to deal with this more stimulating environment under the supervision of an experienced, thoughtful caregiver. We'll look to Tamar again when we need a sitter for our energetic, young-adult Heeler!”
“Rachael was able to take my pup last minute after another sitter cancelled on us. She was so great with our very energetic pup. Thank you so much for the time, care, and attention you provided to Harlan! Would definitely book again!”

“Jerry was thoughtful, communicative and did a great job caring for my dog! My dog is an escape artist and I felt comfortable leaving her in his care because he has a secure backyard, a double gate system by the front door, and was diligent about keeping her safe.”

About: My 3.5 y/o corgi, Kiko, would tell you I love all dogs, almost too much. For the last 13+ years, I’ve been fortunate enough to be responsible for at least 1, and most of the time 2 dogs of my own. While I have no formal training or certifications , I’m great with puppies still learning a routine, senior dogs who need a strict routine and everyone in between. I’m a very calm human so even nervous dogs are comfortable with me. I currently work from home, so I’m really good for dogs who require a little extra attention or struggle being left alone for long periods. I have a spacious two bedroom apartment with one flight of stairs and a nice balcony/patio for bird watching and sun bathing. When Kiko is here, we go on at least 3 walks a day, weather permitting, and make regular trips to various dog parks to see his friends throughout the week. When he’s not, we’ll still walk a lot but maybe fewer dog park visits unless that’s your dog’s thing too. If the cheapest sitter you can find is what you’re looking for, I’m not your person. However, under my watch, your dog will be safe, extremely well cared for, and loved like they are my own. Your dog will get the same care if I’m at your place and I share custody of Kiko, so his presence is not always guaranteed.
“Wynona was wonderful watching our dog Lucy. She seemed to really understand how all dogs can be different and gave Lucy a lot of space to adjust to a new place. Wynona was great at sending me uodates, photos and a video. Lucy had a really good time there and hopefully will be going back soon!”

About: Kona is our first dog but we’ve loved dogs our entire life. We live a very active lifestyle with lots of walks/hikes. He would also love to have other friends to play with! Hi! I’m a full-time student who loves dogs. I offer dog walking, and overnight stays which include feeding, walks and playtime. My boyfriend works from home, which allow us a lot of flexibility to care for your pups! Available weekdays and weekends. Will also send updates and photos for peace of mind We have a fenced in yard with a friendly playful dog to keep your pup company! We also have a lot of space inside our home
“Colin was an awesome sitter for my dog! Between availability, communication and care for my pup- I would highly recommend him to everyone and will definitely be setting up more visits for my boy!”

“Oh my gosh......Hope. She has been such a great addition to Lilli's walkers/pet sitters. Lilli loves spending time with her. She is very chill, and dependable, timely & just a nice person. She gets Lills out and active and burning energy. She has a natural ability with dogs (with Lilli). She is attentive, yet doesn't freak out when Lilli does dog things, which I appreciate so much. Thanks Hope - we love you.”

About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience! I grew up with multiple dogs and have spent years walking and caring for pets, including overnight stays. I’m comfortable with different routines, energy levels, and personalities—and I always make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. Mondays–Wednesdays are my off days and my most flexible time. I work Thursday–Sunday afternoons starting around 2, and my mornings are usually reserved for staying active—walks, workouts, or anything that gets me moving. I don’t have pets currently, but I’ve grown up caring for family and friends’ dogs and I’m comfortable with most breeds, prioritizing calm, safe, attentive care.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for about 10 years, providing consistent, attentive care for dogs of different sizes and personalities. My experience includes daily walks, playtime, feeding routines, administering oral medications, light grooming such as brushing, and, most importantly, giving plenty of love and attention. I understand how important it is to maintain a pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable. I’m patient, observant, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs, whether that’s extra exercise, gentle care, or simply companionship. I am currently working 5 days a week, and will be available on my days off. I miss dog sitting/dog walking as a hobby and would love to start doing it again. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs at my house, so I prefer to take care of the pets at the owners home. I would care for them by playing, taking them outside as needed, staying on a feeding schedule and possibly bathing if the owners request !

“Maria and Kalyan (and Nikko) provided excellent care for Hazel while I was away. Hazel can be a bit anxious when I leave her with a Rover, but they helped her settle in right away. They sent lots of photo and video updates, so I could trust that Hazel was being well-cared for. They really understand Aussies. And by the end of the weekend, Hazel was even caught holding hands with their dog Nikko! New bestie acquired! I would gladly book with them again, and I think Hazel would be thrilled as well.”

“Another 5 star stay with Erika! We love that Erika’s whole family loves on our pup Lyla while we’re out of town, making her feel at home and loved. Erika is attentive, spends time outside with Lyla and provides great photo updates! We are so grateful that have found Erika as a consistent sitter and absolutely recommend booking with her!”

“Quang is very responsive, lots of photos and videos were shared throughout the stayto help us understand how was our dog doing. Would definitely recommend to anyone!”

“Charis was the absolute perfect pet sitter for our adopted Pug. Our pup had never been boarded before. And, because she’s used to going with us almost everywhere she experiences significant separation anxiety when she cannot go. And, although she likes her crate we do not crate her at night. She has always slept on our bed with us. Charis understood & did not have any problem allowing our pup to sleep on their bed with them. And, dog loves playing with other dogs. So, the fact that Charis had French & English Bulldogs that were of similar size & temperament made her place the obvious choice. Not to mention the kind & caring atmosphere at her home. It was very obvious that our pup had a great time because she came home exhausted & happy. And, was very relaxed & at peace the next day. We also really appreciated receiving daily updates & photos via text. It really helped to set our minds at ease. We definitely intend to use Charis again. And, we will highly recommend her services to everyone we meet.”

“Danielle, Brian, and Shiro were absolutely incredible to our pups while we were away! We were nervous to leave our pups with a new Rover as we recently moved, and one of our pups is a rescue. They were amazing and our pups had a great time-Danielle sent us lots of pictures which we loved. Definitely recommend Danielle and will definitely book again!”

“Irey was very very great! Highly recommend! He updated us very often with our dog. You can really see how much he cares for and love dogs! Would definitely ask Irey to care for our dog again and again.”

“This was Sassy’s first stay with Kaylie. She did great! Kaylie communicates quickly and often. She sent pictures and a video. Even though I could see that Sassy was really happy to see me, she was also clearly very comfortable with Kaylie. Major relief! Strong recommend!”
