“We can't say enough good things about our experience working with Deborah! This was our first big trip since one of our cats went through some serious health scares this year, so we were anxious about leaving them for this extended trip. After meeting Deborah though, it became clear that she is such a thoughtful, caring cat sitter and that we'd have nothing to worry about. The cats were immediately at ease with her, and she was so committed to understanding our cats' specific needs (including giving meds, tracking weight, and working with our vet tech to administer subcutaneous fluids). During the trip she sent us regular detailed updates and made sure to ask questions whenever any of the directions we left were unclear. We loved receiving so many wonderful photos and videos of the cats playing with Deborah - it allowed us to fully enjoy our time with family seeing how much love and care our kitties were getting over the holidays (especially our one cat that is typically so shy with new people!). About: I'm an experienced dog sitter and former dog mom just returning to Rover and accepting new and returning clients! I have decades of experience taking care of dogs, including my own, friends', and dogs in rescues and shelters. I recently lost my own 15-year-old dog, so your pup will be my sole focus (and will get lots of love and care). I have a fully fenced yard at my home for potty breaks (separate from walks/hikes). If you don't have a fully fenced yard at your home, it's no problem to take your dog for leashed potty walks as frequently as necessary.

I have been watching animals since I was 16, and have always loved it. I have watched all different kinds of animals from pigs and chicken all the way to bunnies and reptiles. I live in a house with a great yard (unfenced) with my dog Mochi. My dog is a female Doberman who LOVES to play. Mochi is extremely energetic so we do play and walk a lot. About: I’m a professionally trained animal caregiver with a Veterinary Assistant certification, offering reliable, high quality care for pets of all kinds. I have multiple years of experience in dog and cat behavior, pet CPR, emergency response, and administering medications, including care for pets with long-term medical conditions. I currently work at a dog daycare and boarding facility. In my free time, I volunteer as a veterinary assistant for WCGHS in their kennels and spay/neuter clinic. I’ve also volunteered with Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and the Salt Lake City Humane Society, working with animals of all temperaments, including reactive and behaviorally sensitive dogs. I have two rescue dogs and one kitty of my own, including one pup with epilepsy. I have fostered kittens, cats, and medically and behaviorally complex dogs. You and your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priority. I work part time, short shifts as an animal care attendant, and volunteer the rest of my time! My availability varies, but am able to provide potty breaks every 5hrs(or less)! I am flexible and willing to adapt to your schedule :) I’ve never met an animal I didn’t get along with! I am willing to watch/walk multiple pets at a time and can adapt to any preferred schedules or practices you have for your pet. “Once again Shasta was AMAZING! I never been away from my pup so long (2 weeks!) before and it was really hard for me. Shasta sent me lots of pictures and videos showing me how happy Remington was, how much fun he was having with her family, and how well he was doing. That helped tremendously. When I returned home she had bathed him, washed all of his bedding, and he was in happy spirits. I couldn’t be happier with a dog sitter. Shasta goes above and beyond! Our Tofu spent his best two weeks at their place with lots of walks, treats, and even baths when needed. They asked many questions before hand to get to know Tofu and arranged a visit as well. It was such a relief for us during our international trip where we had no access to text messages and major social media. However, Linda still offered to contact us via WhatsApp in order to send daily updates.”
