“Benny happily ran into Kym’s house for all his visits. He enjoyed her backyard and really enjoyed snuggling on the couch (his favorite activity). Will definitely use Kym again.”

“My dog is pretty much anti social when it comes to other dogs and people he doesn’t know. We had a great meet and greet with Leslie which was promising. While Everest was in her care she sent me daily pictures and or videos which I really appreciated given this was his first time for an extended stay and with other dogs present. He did fabulous and I felt good that he was there and interacting with the other dogs. I can tell Leslie loves what she does and the dogs are happy in her care. I will definitely use her again 💯 %! THANK YOU LESLIE!!”

“Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Mr. Toby was so spoiled he was reluctant to leave. Eileen and her husband took such good care of him and provided me with so many pictures. Thank you Eileen, you are the best!!!!”

“We had an incredibly positive vibe from both Jennifer & David when we first met them &.Mr. Frank. His first week long stay exceed all of our expectations...pictures of Oskar playing, snuggling & getting treats only reinforced our initial feelings. It is always difficult to leave a beloved pet with others but with Jennifer & David we felt like Oskar was at his home away from home. He will be staying with Jennifer & David whenever we travel. They are a fantastic second family for Oskar.”

About: Hello, I'm Olivia! I’m an experienced dog walker and drop-in pet sitter who has spent years caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’m also the go‑to person in my circle when anyone has dog questions on behavior, routines, health quirks, you name it! My own dog, June, is 11, so senior care and special‑needs routines are second nature to me. My previous Rover clients allowed my dog to join in on pet sitting, so she's in a lot of my photos! *She no longer joins for any walking or sitting. In 2026, I’m completing my certification as a Canine Massage Therapist. While I won’t be offering massage services here, the training gives me a sharp eye for mobility issues, discomfort, and subtle changes in movement. I’m always watching for anything that might help you stay ahead of your dog’s health needs with your vet. My focus is comfort, safety, and enjoyment. I want your dog to feel relaxed and confident in my care. I tailor each walk or visit to their personality, energetic, cautious, curious, or slow‑paced. I ask every client for a few key details so I can give the best care possible: *Behaviors I should be aware of (reactivity, shyness, excitement triggers) *Allergies or dietary restrictions *Treat rules *Training you’re currently working on *Medical or mobility considerations You can expect reliable communication, thoughtful care, and a sitter who truly understands dogs. Keeping my dog on her routine is very important to me, so once I have her taken care of and happy, I'm open to creating a routine for your dog whether that's a check-in or short walk while you're away. In your home, we will work together to make sure your dog stays comfortable and on routine. For walks, I will either stick to what you know works for them or I'm also happy to establish a couple of routes that they can look forward to.
About: I have helped with many people's pets who needed walked. Also have done pet sitting with house sitting. I have enjoyed meeting animals and getting to know them. I'm currently working part time and able to make plenty of time to walk and do drop in visits for other people's pets aka fur babies. I like to learn how each fur babies home is and get to know the neighborhood to keep them in an environment that helps keep them calm in their natural home area.

We loved receiving frequent updates and photos, which gave us such peace of mind. We truly appreciate the exceptional care and attention she provided. Our puppy was in great hands!”

“Sarah is THE BEST dog sitter! Kind, considerate, detail oriented, great communicator. She took care of my pup Piper during the day for a few days while I was in town to watch a volleyball tournament, and I couldn't be happier with how it worked out. I really appreciated the status update text messages that Sarah sent from time to time, and it was abundantly clear from the pics she shared that Piper was totally comfortable and really enjoying her time there. Also -- a big shout out to Sarah's pup, Sully, for sharing his home and his mom with Piper for a few days! He was a great host and he & Piper got along very well. I would hire Sarah again in a heartbeat if/when we visit Spokane again!”

About: After saying goodbye to my best friend a year and a half ago, I’m not quite ready to bring a new dog of my own home yet. However, I truly miss the companionship and the joy that dogs bring to daily life. Joining Rover is my way of getting back into the "dog world"—offering your pets the same dedicated love, patience, and attention I gave my own for over a decade. What I Offer: • Senior Care Knowledge: Having cared for a dog through his final years, I am very comfortable with senior pups and slow walks. Don’t think I don’t love puppies too! • A "Dogs-First" Home: Since I don't currently have a pet, your dog will be the "only child" and get 100% of my attention. • Lifelong Intuition: I understand that every dog has a unique personality, from high-energy athletes to professional couch potatoes. I work from home full-time, which means your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. My home office is "dog-friendly," and I love having a furry coworker at my feet (or on the sofa!) throughout the day. What a day with me looks like: • Constant Supervision: Because I’m at my desk, I can offer frequent potty breaks and immediate attention whenever your pup needs it. • Structured Breaks: I use my lunch and mid-afternoon breaks for neighborhood walks, games of fetch, or just some quality backyard time. • Active "Face Time": I don't just sit in another room; I enjoy the companionship of dogs while I work. Whether your dog prefers to nap quietly nearby or needs occasional head scratches between my meetings, I’m here for it. • Flexible Needs: If your dog has a specific medication or feeding schedule that requires midday attention, my WFH setup makes that easy to accommodate. My home is a quiet, hazard-free sanctuary designed for stress-free stays. • Safety First: No other pets or children in the home—perfect for anxious or selective dogs. • Open Communication: Expect frequent "pupdates" and photos throughout the day. • Expert Handling: I am comfortable with senior care, medication, and following strict house rules.
“Excited to have a new sitter for Fury that we can count on! Dog socialization as well as her not having to be alone while we are at work! Thank you!”

“Georgia was amazing with my dog! She was excellent with communication and easy to work with and very flexible with my schedule. I highly would recommend her. She treated my dog like family and took great care of him.”

About: I’m patient, caring, dependable, reliable and take my dog out on walks every day. I work from home so I will be with your beloved pet at all times. I work from home and have one dog who I walk daily. Most of my time is spent with my dog and if your dog stays with us, they will be with us all day. I do live in an apartment, however, I am active and attentive so I can provide a lot of activity outdoors or spend time with your dog indoors if that’s what they prefer.
About: I have had a dog ever since I can remember and I am 69 yrs old. I have TIME and am reliable, because I am retired. I made sure my kids grew up with a dog and now they have my grand dogs which I love to babysit. I lost my last dog (he was 14) in 2018 and I knew I was going to retire (and travel) in 2021 so now I have my grand dogs and all my friends dogs to babysit and get my fix. I also have volunteered for Path of Hope rescue since I retired. I have a medium sized doggie door out to a wonderful patio and yard fully fenced with 6 ft high vinyl fence. I love dogs so much. They are just the most loving, gentle, and FUN animals put on this earth. I am a walker, so all dogs that stay at my house get walked everyday, with a ton of love and affection. I am going to start Rover on Jan. 2026!!!! I am retired, so I would love to walk your dogs during the day for you. (I am a daily walker anyway :) so why not?) If they stay with me, my home is perfect with a fenced yard, medium sized doggie door (but I do love and will have larger dogs too) and they will get a lot of love and attention. While I prefer crate trained dogs, it does not mean they would be in their crate during the day unless you say it is needed if I leave the house. If not crate trained I would be okay if they are a very well trained dog :) My home is just me, so dogs will get that one on one attention. I am retired so I can accommodate any feeding/walking schedules that are needed.
“I had an exceptional experience with Amanda and Justin. My wife and I were visiting Spokane for three days during a heatwave, and needed daycare for Casey. They did a terrific job, especially introducing Casey to their larger dogs and communicating via text and the Rover app. We felt completely comfortable leaving Casey in their very capable hands.”

“Patricia is a dogs best friend and she honestly cares for them as if they are her very own. We hired her for 5 days and she was as more than amazing, and exceeded anything we could imagine. Seriously worth every dollar and honestly worth her weight in gold. So good at communicating and went above and beyond always seeing our dogs were taken real good care of. I mean it when I say we already miss her and wish she was a neighbor. I feel as if not only my 10yr old and 2yr old dogs have a friend, but that we have become friends too and I look forward to the next time we get to see her. Best sitter we could ever have found. We will see her again. If you are looking for quality Patricia is the one. I have never met such an amazing full of energy conscious individual. Look no further.”

“Frodo came home happy and exhausted. He was taken care from the get go. Lance took time to understand and see who frodo was. You can tell he handled him with care and one of his own. We look forward to having Frodo spend time with Lance and his dogs again. 🐕 thanks for the updates on how we was throughout the day.”

“Had such a great experience ! It’s sometimes hard to travel and have someone watch your dog without worrying but right away I knew it was going to be a good day for Milo! Milo and their dog Paisley are besties from the start! The two dogs were so good together! Milo was a happy boy when I picked him up! I come to Spokane for work and will be using them every time :) can’t thank them enough for giving my boy attention and play time while I work”

About: I had my own dog growing up that I was responsible for. Since moving out from my parent's home, I've cared for other family and friends dogs. I'm a new momma and looking to get myself out of the house, taking my little ones on adventures. I love walking and love dogs, and want my kids to be comfortable around dogs (we have no pets of our own right now). Since beginning this endeavor, it has helped both my kids to love dogs as well. I would need to use your supplies-dog toys, treats, leashes, etc. But your dog would get their exercise/play time done during the day with me
“Emily is truly amazing and her 3 dogs are absolutely amazing. She took such good care of my boy Oreo and he actually is best friends now with her dog Reese. For a first time mom she relieved my anxiety and worry about him. She sent me updates and pictures and has been such a blessing in our lives. If you are looking for a dog sitter she is DEFINITELY the one to go to.”

“Brittany is very nice. She asked a lot of questions about Micah. Micah really enjoyed his walk and now he’s wore out. Brittany came over last minute which I really appreciate and Micah really liked her. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Brittony was great. She got my dog out on a nice walk and took some good pix, even of my cats. She watched Jeopardy with all of the animals, too. The dog is a couch potato and loves shows like Jeopardy and Password. All went very well. I will use Brittony again.”

About: I know how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so I want to make that easier. I’m a caring and responsible pet owner myself, and I’ve also helped care for friends’ pets while they’ve been away on trips. I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’ll make sure your pets get lots of love, attention, and care while you’re away. I’m currently on summer break, so I have full availability and flexible scheduling for pet sitting. Once I return to school, my availability will adjust, but I’m still able to plan around pet care and communicate my schedule clearly in advance. In my own home, I prioritize safety, routine, and a calm environment for pets. I live in a safe neighborhood and have a large fenced backyard where dogs can play and get exercise. I make sure pets are always supervised, have fresh water, and feel comfortable in their space. I also respect each pet’s routine and needs, and I aim to keep their environment as stress free as possible whether they’re in my home or I’m caring for them in a client’s home.

“Karli has been great! She has been very flexible with scheduling and my dog Stella just loves her. I have a large breed senior dog and she is very understanding and takes special care on walks. I will also be using her to house sit for my dog in the future as well!”

“Jacob was fantastic. He happily accommodated a meet and greet the week before and my pup immediately liked him. He is friendly and clearly loves dogs. He followed all instructions. Took my dog’s anxieties into account and she was happily tired when I came home at the end of long days. Highly recommend!”

About: I have always had many pets in my house. I currently take care of my 3 cats and have 3 dogs at home who i love dearly. I go to school part-time at WWU and work a part-time job. Pet care is the perfect hobby for me because I love animals and spending time with my pets. I walk my dogs regularly and clean litter boxes and food and water bowls, as well as keep my animals happy and cuddled! I also bathe my dogs and groom them. I am happy to provide any extra care and love to your pets!
About: I have owned many pets throughout my childhood. To say what kind of experience I have would take more than 125 words because each pet has their own personality and style and I adapt to exactly what your pets need and want. If they want cuddles, they get cuddles. If they want space, they get space. I’m home almost all day so they will get all the attention they ever want(or the space they need). I aim to make them happy! Non smoke home with a big spacious living room to play or rest in. I’ve been dog walking/pet sitting since I was a teen and miss doing that. I love hiking and anything outdoorsy so I’m always up for being outside as well. If you have any questions please reach out! I’m a stay at home mom so I’ll be able to easily take your pup out on walks and quick potty breaks. We don’t have a fenced yard but have a shared yard out in the back as well as a park nearby. I walk them right before I would leave to run any errands and usually don’t take long. I follow the instructions provided so that its not stressful for the pup as well as the pet owner. I send updates on how the pup is doing and what we’re up to. We go out on walks a lot. If it’s okay with the owner than I take the pup out on a shorter hike with my daughter. I make sure to grab water too! At home we see what kind of personality the pup has because some aren’t as active and would rather cuddle while others like to play play play.
About: I’m a big animal lover. I got my first dog 5 years ago, and trained her by myself. I love training, teaching dogs fun new tricks, going on walks and just showing all the love to any and all animals. I work a full time job. But work from home on Mondays and some Fridays. If you are comfortable with me being gone for 8 hours during the week, I’m your gal! My puppy, Mochi, would love a buddy to play with while I’m gone. I have a big, fenced back yard, lots of dog toys, and a very friendly pup who loves all dogs. I have watched and trained many of my friends dogs, so I have ample of experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds.
About: I've always had dogs in my family, including several rescue dogs which has been super rewarding. My husband and I have been fortunate to be able to retire early but we are both very active. I want to spend my spare time doing something productive that I love... caring for dogs is a perfect fit! Most of my time is spent at my home and in our back yard. I have 2 dogs that are very social and love spending time with other dogs. They will enjoy having play-dates with your dog(s). I believe that every dog deserves to be valued and loved. I limit the dogs I board to a maximum of 4 dogs at a time in order to ensure that each dog will get proper care and attention. I don't work outside of the home. If I need to run an errand or go shopping, my husband is typically home to care for the digs. Dogs are rarely left alone, but if they are, it is for no longer than 2 to 3 hours. When the weather is nice, we keep the sliding door open so that the dogs can hang out indoor or outdoors, wherever they feel most comfortable. During the colder months we let the dogs out every two to four hours. We don't crate dogs unless that's what they're used to. We allow dogs on our furniture and in our bed.
“Melisa was kind and professional! My dog is often timid and had refused to go out for a walk when I am gone before but Melissa handled it like a champ, was patient and kind, and was able to coax him out of the house. Thank you Melissa!”
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and understand that every pup has their own personality, energy level, and unique needs. I provide dependable, well-rounded care that supports your dog’s routine, whether that means exercise, companionship, playtime, feeding, or simply maintaining a calm, consistent presence while you’re away. I’m comfortable with high-energy dogs who need engagement and structure, as well as shy, anxious, or senior dogs who benefit from patience and a gentler approach. I pay close attention to behavior, body language, and environment to ensure every interaction is safe, positive, and tailored to your dog. You can expect reliability, clear communication, and thoughtful updates after each visit. I treat every dog with the same care, attentiveness, and respect I would give my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I’m intentional about creating space in my schedule to provide consistent, reliable visits. I value punctuality and clear communication, and I plan my days to ensure pets receive focused attention rather than rushed drop-ins. Whether it’s weekday visits or weekend care, I aim to be dependable and flexible when possible. Safety and trust are my top priorities. In a client’s home, I respect your space, follow care instructions closely, and maintain your pet’s established routine to reduce stress. I pay close attention to body language, secure doors and gates carefully, and ensure food, water, and litter or waste areas are clean and properly maintained. My goal is to create a calm, consistent environment where your pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away.
“Lifesaver! I’m so glad I found Vanessa, I would absolutely recommend to take care of your fur baby. Vanessa has taken care of my little man multiple times and helped me out last minute which I’m super appreciative for.”

“Audrey did great with our reactive dogs. She was incredibly communicative when we met her and asked us many questions. She did everything we asked and I have complete trust in her with our dogs.”

“We are so thankful for May's exceptional care of Ava. She sent us daily photos and updates, took Ava on multiple walks, and was patient with her "retrieving" tendencies. Knowing Ava was so well taken care of made our vacation stress-free. We will definitely book with May again!”

“Wonderful! I appreciate her dedication to our loved ones we entrust in her care. Cheryl sent photos and or videos every day and also a progress note. I highly recommend Cheryl and hope to book again when I am in the need.”

“My dog Dolly had the BEST time with Emily! She is experienced, communicative, and kind. I felt so comfortable leaving Dolly with her and will definitely rebook in the future.”

“Taylor stepped in at the last minute to watch little Maxine. They both got along wonderfully and Maxine had so much fun with all the members of the family, human and canine. When I am in town and in need of a sitter/boarder, I will definitely call Talor!”

“Milo had a great time and was taken care of exactly as his medical needs required. We appreciate the flexibility with his pickup and will certainly return if we need boarding again.”

“Cheyenne was amazing to work with and took such good care of our boy, Jedi! He was almost sad to leave I could tell. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Tiana did great with our pups! They stayed for three nights and had a blast. Tiana provided lots of pictures, videos, and updates about how the dogs were doing. We felt comfortable with her watching them and would recommend boarding with her!”

“Irene was a SUPERB host for my Rita and will absolutely be re-booking in the future! Facilitated a smooth meet and greet, welcomed Rita in, and was in clear and consistent communication.”

“Brooke was very professional with her service in taking care of Taco. I got pictures and videos of Taco on a regular basis and was happy to see she was doing well. I feel Taco came back slimer and trimmer than being at home with all the activity Taco got with Brooke. I'm very pleased with the level of professionalism and service!”

“Monika was AMAZING! I had never boarded my dog before and Monika truly made my first experience a fantastic one; she took care of our 3 year old boxer for 9 days. She updated us each evening with videos and pictures and she even took him to Petsmart and got him a toy for his birthday. We are super grateful for kind, caring people like Monika and we will be definitely using her in the future. Thank you, Monika!!”

“Heather is ohenomenal. She basically adopts my dog for three days. Kept me informed and at ease. A time of great strain became bearable because of her care for my Emma. I will use her service again!”

“Jilly had a wonderful stay with Gregg. She loved playing with his dog. It was so reassuring to get daily photos. Communication was first rate on everything. Highly recommend!”

“Brandon and Hope were super accommodating and helped us feel comfortable leaving our sweet girl with them for a weekend getaway. Excited to book with them again!”

About: I have owned several dogs in my life. I have helped trained multiple dogs for special need accommodations. I often take care of friends dogs and horses when needed, and have experience handling anything from small dogs to large farm animals. I would love to take dogs on walks and am skilled in training dogs if that something you are looking for. I take boarding where I have a big fenced yard. I do have a cat, but she has room to roam downstairs and to be outside so the dog and cat would never have to interact. Because I work a professional Monday-through-Thursday schedule, my weekends are completely cleared and dedicated to pet care. I am entirely off from Friday through Sunday, meaning my schedule revolves 100% around making sure your pup has a fantastic weekend getaway of their own while you are away! Safety and peace of mind are the absolute foundation of my boarding service. Because I only host one guest dog at a time, your pup receives my full, undivided attention in a highly controlled, secure, and loving environment.

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life and love dogs! I am a hands on care giver and make sure the pets are happy and healthy. I’m currently a stay at home mom of a 12-year-old boy and a 5-year-old Schnoodle, Coco. My daughter is pre-med at WSU and is often home to help as well. Coco is current with all vaccines, spayed, and loves furry friends visiting! I have a fenced yard that is wide open for lots of fun playing. I also take daily walks with the dogs so they get to smell the news!
