About: I’ve worked and volunteer at shelter for 5 years and have experience working with cats that have many different personalities and level of care such as fearful and reactive. I was crossed trained as a veterinary assistant and have given medications to cats before. My sweet Wilson (the black dog in some of my pics) passed away recently at the age of 13 and I miss him SO much but it makes me happy to remember our connection and know that he lived a great life ♥️ I'm an artist and work at home, so I am here almost all the time and can cater to the needs/wants of the dogs. Your dog will have the run of the house with Chester at all times, including if I go on an errand, etc. I'm also always happy to work with your dog's norm and training, I am on the South Hill, about 8 minutes from downtown and the freeway, very convenient and easy to find. Also will send you pics and updates while your dog is here :) We have a secure, fenced yard which the dogs have the run of. Two doggie doors - one to the house and one to my backyard art studio - allows the dogs to be where they want to be. If your dog is unfamiliar with - or not great - at pet doors, no worries, I am happy to let them in and out the old-fashioned way! I welcome the opportunity for you and your pet to meet us before your dog's vacation begins! At this time you can also provide me with details of your pet's personality, schedule, and special needs. This also gives your dog the chance to get acquainted with the surroundings and give their stamp of approval. For first timers, I require this (at no cost of course).

A few days before I left, a vet visit revealed Ruby had a urinary infection, and Jessica was sure to keep an eye on how she was doing and keep me updated. Ruby can be a little standoff-ish and has ignored more than one sitter in the past, but by day 2 Jessica and Ruby were like BFFs. I came home to an extremely happy cat. Thanks Jessica!”
“I can't say enough good/positive about Melissa. She recently house/cat sat for us for 10 days. Her daily (sometimes 2 🥰) updates with pics were so comforting while we were away (and even with a 9 hour tike difference). Our cats (3 total) are very spoiled & are used to us being home all the time. It was comforting jnowing that she spent most of her time here with them vs other pet siters that just come long enough to feed and leave. We have one cat that is extremely shy/scared of everyone except us & Melissa demonstrated that she understands animals & how best to interact with our sweet but shy girl. She left the house in pristine condition. Laundered the towels & bedding & even remade the bed. Absolutely appreciated! I have a lot (a lot) of houseplants and had my garden veggie plants started & in my grow tent and she took exceptional care of them all. “Sarah is THE BEST dog sitter! Kind, considerate, detail oriented, great communicator. She took care of my pup Piper during the day for a few days while I was in town to watch a volleyball tournament, and I couldn't be happier with how it worked out. I really appreciated the status update text messages that Sarah sent from time to time, and it was abundantly clear from the pics she shared that Piper was totally comfortable and really enjoying her time there. Also -- a big shout out to Sarah's pup, Sully, for sharing his home and his mom with Piper for a few days! He was a great host and he & Piper got along very well. About: We have dogs, snakes, and a bunny. We have kept many different pets for the past 10 years and love caring for all animals! Even the grouchy ones 😊 Our dogs eat at 12:30 and at 6:30 each day with frequent trips outside. They are friendly and we keep them trained to eat only out of their own bowls. Pet care is daily life in our home (with my spouse) and we both take pride in our relationships with animals I will frequently check for assent amongst pets to ensure safety and wellbeing. If animals need to be separated, we live in our finished basement and work upstairs, making it easy to both separate and engage with all the animals frequently. Any instructions will be religiously followed. I am getting my masters in behavior analysis so I am ALWAYS aware of the dynamics of our animals and animal guests!

About: I’m patient, caring, dependable, reliable and take my dog out on walks every day. I work from home so I will be with your beloved pet at all times. I work from home and have one dog who I walk daily. Most of my time is spent with my dog and if your dog stays with us, they will be with us all day. I do live in an apartment, however, I am active and attentive so I can provide a lot of activity outdoors or spend time with your dog indoors if that’s what they prefer.

About: I’ve always had dogs and have such a soft spot for rescues. I own 2 dogs myself who I spend a lot of time exploring, walking, playing, and training with. I am currently attending grad school 2 days a week and working part time in the evenings. With my own dogs, I typically go on a long morning walk in nature and shorter evening walks in our neighborhood. I’m very flexible! I live in a spacious home with a large yard. I’m flexible with all play styles and feeding habits, all while staying firm against begging for food we can’t have and keeping a close eye on problem behaviors such as digging or pillow ripping. I’m happy to play, take pets outside into yards or for walks in the neighborhood to get their energy out, feed them on their schedules, and visit multiple times a day to keep your pet happy and entertained. I have a preference for crate trained dogs, but for those more well-behaved, I have no qualms. As for cats, I’m happy to keep quiet and leave them to their own pace, letting myself be available to them while not invading their space.
