“I was blown away by April's positive attitude and dedication to caring for my golden retriever. She meticulously created a safe, pack-like environment where the dogs felt at home, and the areas were exceptionally clean. Even more impressive were her plans to enhance her already wonderful outdoor space. As a side note, April is a certified dog trainer. Shortly after dropping off my dog and running errands in town, I noticed her diligently and patiently leash-training my dog during a walk, as my GPS took me back past her location. April never mentioned this task on Rover or in person; she simply did it on her own time, free of charge, without boasting. Her quiet integrity and humility are extraordinarily impressive. Best Rover experience so far!”

“We had a meet-and-greet with Kathryn so that we could establish relationships between the humans and between Kathryn and the cats. Although it wasn't an official pet sitting appointment, we could tell immediately how comfortable Kathryn is with kitties (as well as a personable human). We look forward to booking Kathryn for our future cat sitting needs.”

“Another great experience with Samantha! We loved reading the rover cards, seeing the cute pictures, and coming home to a clean house and happy kitties. Our cats love you and we will most definitely be booking again soon :)”

About: I’ve lived with cats all my life and I understand just how unique, sensitive, and wonderfully quirky our feline companions can be. I’ve cared for my own cats throughout every stage of life — including one who lived happily into her 20s — and supported her through the age‑related illnesses that often come with senior kitties. Through her journey, I learned how to confidently administer a wide range of medications and provide the gentle, attentive care older cats need. Whether your cat is playful and social, shy and independent, or a senior who needs extra patience and support, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to keep their routine steady, their stress low, and their hearts happy — so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing they’re in caring, capable hands.
“We enjoyed having Christal house sit with our goofy cat, Penny. Christal is well versed in the ways of cats and dogs and allows them to get to know her at their own pace. As a result, she builds their trust and friendship, as well their owner's confidence. And that matters! Christal was timely with our needs and allowed us to relax and enjoy our trip out of town. We will no doubt ask her to assist us with pet needs in the future! Doug LeClair Anacortes, WA”
“Thank you Madeline for loving our cats while we were out. She is prompt, and responsible. We trusted Madeline and would definitely contact her next time we are out of town.”

“We could not be more pleased with Mike and Sharon. Our cat, Lucy has adopted them as her second family. She has completely warmed up to them and cuddles as if they were family. We would highly recommend Mike and Sharon.”

“Veronika was a perfect choice to look after my feisty cat! She worked hard to earn her trust and even got her to play after the first visit! I would highly recommend her for attention to detail and genuinely caring for the well-being of furry family members. Thank you Veronika!!”

I have 20 years of experience training dogs- 15 of those years being a paid, licensed and insured professional. I take the utmost care of any animal in my charge. I treat them like family and honor all the requests made by owners to ensure their pet is treated perfectly when they are gone! I understand the love and care people have for their animals and do everything I can to show that same level of care when they are under my watch. I take videos and photos regularly to keep families updated, as well! I am a SAHM with decades of experience in the canine world. My dogs, and my clients, are my life. They are my whole routine! I am equipped to manage all varieties of dogs from the easiest house guest to dog aggressive cases or complicated medical needs. About: I have been around animals my whole life. I have been taking care/riding horses since I was 3, have 2 dogs (senior & adult), and I have my own leopard gecko! Animals tend to find my calm and collected demeanor comforting. I am a 2026 graduate and this summer I am working part time at Nonna Luisa’s in downtown Anacortes. I don’t start work until 4 and tend to have all of the morning to myself, so why not fill it with animals! I would create a personal pet plan with the owner to fulfill the pets needs. This could be walking, letting them out, or just keeping them company!
About: Caring for pets has always been one of my favorite things to do. I’ve been looking after cats and dogs since I was 10 years old, starting with walking my parents’ dog. Now, I have two indoor cats of my own who keep me busy and entertained every day. I make sure they stay active with plenty of playtime, attention, and cuddles, while also creating a calm and loving environment for them. I currently have open availability and a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide dependable, attentive pet care throughout the week, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. I’m dependable, respectful, and always follow pet care instructions closely. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for with plenty of playtime and attention.

“I am the kind of person who hates leaving their dog with anyone because I'm so paranoid the worst case scenario could happen.... Not the case with Roxanne! She was quick to get in touch with me after my initial request and very flexible with my schedule. Clooney's tail wags nonstop as soon as we pull into her driveway, and he seems to forget about me the minute we walk through the door! Roxanne sends periodic texts and pictures throughout the day, which I also love. My mind is always at ease once I drop Clooney off at Roxanne's house, and I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Anacortes and Oak Harbor area!”

“Chelsey was absolutely amazing. She regularly texted with pictures and updates and was quick to put my mind at ease when I found myself missing my little pup. I would 100% recommend Chelsey and will be booking again when I am back in the area.”

“Nicole & Cody were exactly what we were looking for in the Oak Harbor area. Not only did they keep our pup, safe, but communicated easily, and ensured a worn out pup was returned after a fun filled day. Would definitely recommend.”

“Katrina is a gem - quick responses, and was very easy going and willing to roll with it when I (embarrassingly) forgot my dog's bag of lunch, toys, etc. the first time I brought him over. I don't think he even missed his things, given how well her place is set up for dogs. The big, fenced back yard is a dream!”

“Hazel had a blast hanging out with Jax! She came home happy, tired, and well cared for. It was clear she had a wonderful time, and we’d definitely trust Virginia with Hazel again!”

“Virginia was great. Maggie-Roo was happily tired. 💖🐾 Virginia's communication was excellent. This was Maggie-Roo's first time playing with Virginia and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended. Thank you.”

“My little guy had a great day at Sara’s. His daily needs were met and he got lots of love and playtime. He came home exhausted and napped the rest of the day away 😊. We will definitely be a repeat customer next time we have a need for daycare. Thank you!”

About: Lover of pets! I’d love to meet your furry (or not so furry) friend. I’m very active, so long walks & even hikes are totally alright by me! I’m here to help you and your pet thrive. Whether that’s walking, playing, feeding, companionship, bathing , etc. I have been caring for pets since I was a youth. Whether that was neighborhood pets, friends pets or family pet. I have experience with a wide range of ages & sizes. I used to live out on a farm for several years and care for kittens, chickens, goats, pigs, and dogs. I helped take care of newborn kittens, feed and foster trust with them. Regularly cleaning the chicken coop, feeding them, collecting eggs and just hanging out with them. I would feed, brush and hang out with the goats also clean out pen. I raised a pig for 4H feeding, caring, and spending lots of quality time with him. And then of course dogs, I spent a good amount of years caring for two labs. Running them, washing them, cleaning up their dog house, feeding them. Snuggles and cuddles of course. I have notoriously always had an orange cat in my life; however living on the farm had about 6-7 cats I cared for. Them being farm cats mostly wanting to be fed and hung out with me in the grass or came by for pets. Neighborhood cats would get pregnant leading me to foster relationships with their kittens, a lot of times rescuing them, cleaning them up and bringing them back to wellness then re-homing them. Overall, I’d love to play & care for your pet as you see fit! Ideally I’d prefer a meet & greet prior to care. I have a very open and flexible schedule; morning's, afternoons and most evenings I should be around. My work schedule is currently evenings Sunday through Tuesday. I make sure pets are fed on time always have water and are let out whenever needed. I also make sure cat’s litter boxes are well maintained.

“We have a couple of very needy boxers who are high energy. They don't always work with pets or people's energy. Our babies were so well taken care of it was amazing!”

“Jael and her family made our dog feel right at home! Drop-off and pick-up were quick and easy, and when we returned, our dog was happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. We’ve tried kennels before and our pup came back stressed and underweight — but with Jael, it was the complete opposite. Stella ate well, played, and looked so content when we picked her up. It’s rare to find someone who treats your pet like family, but Jael truly does. We couldn’t recommend her more — 10/10 experience!”

“Buddy loved his time at Avery's house! Avery was very communicative and sent videos/photos during his stay there. I also have open availability during summers and holidays for flexible scheduling. I care for every pet like family, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I follow your routines closely, provide plenty of playtime and attention, and send regular updates so you can relax knowing your pet is doing well. I also treat your home with care and respect, always leaving it clean, secure, and just as you left it.
“Sheri did a great job taking care of my German Shepard. I really liked that she sent pictures and told me what she was up to during the day. She was also really flexible with my schedule and had a nice backyard for Adal to play. Her other dog was very nice too. ”
