Rachel is incredibly responsive—messages are answered quickly, and she keeps us updated every step of the way. The daily photo and video updates are a game-changer, showing Bella playing in the yard, cuddling, or just relaxing like she’s at home. She follows all our instructions perfectly (including feeding and exercise routines) and is super flexible; when our flights have been delayed or even canceled, she’s happily accommodated the changes without hesitation. About: I have had 2 dogs and 2 cats in the past and loved them dearly. I haven't had my own dogs recently but have enjoyed my friends dogs and cats immensely! I miss the company of pets and thought this would be an excellent way to have my pet fix by taking care of other peoples pets. Please bring your pets bed or if he or she is comfortable they are free to sleep with me and sit on any couch or chair in the house. I would love to take them for walks to the beach if you approve. I would take them for walks around this quite neighborhood and since I am retired we would have lots of time together to play and enjoy each others company.

Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. About: We have been pet people our entire 40+ years together. We have fostered pups and adopted many pups. Right now we have an older Bichon who loves all dogs! We are retired and love 2 daily hikes on our 3.3 acres in the country. Pups have a window seat to look out and enjoy sun bathing. Dogs are left alone for very short periods of time. Pups sleep near the people. Dogs love it here and we love dogs being here. Retired. I swim 3 days a week, but other than that.... I am home most every day...all day and night. We recently became a one dog home...Our old pup Nike was at least 17 years. Samson, the Bichon loves all dogs and welcomes them with open paws! Our home is safe for dogs and baby proofed for when Grandchildren visit. Safety first is very important standard we live by. We have a dog camera for when we are away at pool, or grocery store.

I own a 10 year old Great Pyrenees named Mila and she is the sweetest girl (not a mean bone in her body). Late Pick Up- I understand things do happen while traveling and this requires a later pick up than anticipated, if this is the case please let me know asap and you will not be charged. But when pick up time comes around and I have not heard from you and you have not messaged me back this will incur in a 15$ late fee per each hour that you are late. Booking Policy- You must book/pay to secure your dates. Meet/Greet - If you would like to meet before the requested dates, there will be a $20 non-refundable fee that will go towards your booking. This is due to covering my time outside of the scheduled dates. Cancellation Policy- If you need to cancel a boarding request this must be done before 48 hours of your booking or it will result in a fee. This fee depends on the service total, this ensures I am compensated for late cancellations as another dog/cat could have been in your spot. Please let me know if you have any questions and I would be happy to help! PLEASE READ: I am a full time admin worker (M-F at an office) looking to care for your pup when you are away. Being able to give YOU a free week(end) is what I am aiming for. I work the usual 8-5 in office job and typically spend my evenings in the yard, on a walk, or hiking. I volunteer at the SPCA in my spare time because I just can't get enough. I have a fairly flexible schedule and a reliable vehicle. As I am home full-time, we are able to give around the clock attention to the animals we care for! Your pet will get all the loves, just like at home. We are open to all preferences and follow care instructions thoroughly. In my free time, when I'm not caring for pets, I enjoy cooking, traveling, hiking, the outdoors and playing music. I have had animals my entire life. From chinchillas to puppies, I have loved and cared for many breeds types and temperaments. We pride ourselves on our ability to handle all animals and am confident that my experiences will make a stay with us smooth for both pet and owner! I am a stay at home dog mom! I have wide open availability. We provide dog walks, overnights, drop-ins, and all other services. We're available to do any length of time bookings as well! And are constantly available to meet your animals needs! We have a beautiful neighborhood that offers plenty of enjoyment and room to roam! We also have a neighborhood fully fenced dog park 5 minutes walking distance from our home. We are very outdoorsy as well and enjoy long dog walks to our local beach and park.

As a large, energetic breed, German Shepherds can be a handful, but Rachel handles her with such confidence, care, and expertise. Bella always comes home happy, tired from plenty of play and walks, and clearly well-loved. Rachel is incredibly responsive—messages are answered quickly, and she keeps us updated every step of the way. The daily photo and video updates are a game-changer, showing Bella playing in the yard, cuddling, or just relaxing like she’s at home. She follows all our instructions perfectly (including feeding and exercise routines) and is super flexible; when our flights have been delayed or even canceled, she’s happily accommodated the changes without hesitation. We feel so lucky to have found someone we trust completely. We’ve already booked our next few trips with Rachel because we honestly can’t imagine anyone else taking care of Bella. She got plenty of play with other dogs and came back totally worn out (in a good way). Mushka is a pretty anxious dog overall and we typically give her trazodone when traveling or boarding her, however during her stay with Michael she didn’t need it at all.
