“We couldn’t ask for better care for Coco while we are gone! From the many videos to excellent communication - we know Coco is in great hands ❤️❤️❤️ We highly recommend Sheri and Bill❤️❤️”

“Chingri loved staying with David and became best friends with an Aussie. David took great care of Chingri and never let her feel bored. He also sent great pictures of her that kept us reassured during our vacation.”

“Our little dog Sammy had a great stay with Lauren! It can be a bit scary trying to find someone that you can trust to watch your furry baby, but we found that in Lauren! She is simply amazing and truly has a heart for animals. I would highly recommend her!”
“Izzy and her family are amazing (and that includes their Doodle, Mickey)! My dog has anxiety about new experiences, and they really helped her feel welcome, comfortable, and safe during her first visit to their home.”
“Emily and Tyler took care of our Boston Terrier for a week. Our travel schedule was subject to last minute changes and we appreciated their cancellation policy if we needed it. They asked all the right questions about Emma's care and were happy to accommodate her needs. Their uptown location makes it very convenient for anyone living in Port Townsend so pick up and drop off were easy. We would definitely us this sitter again.”

“Sarah was great with my two Goldens! I felt comfortable leaving them in her hands for 10 days. She was very responsive and the dogs seemed happy and well cared for. I would definitely leave them with her again.”

“Kimberly was amazing with our pup! She has a great setup and an obvious heart for pets. She was so kind to send us pictures/videos to help us feel better about leaving him behind. We’ll be using her again!!”

“Olive was very well cared for by Teri. Also, Teri is a wonderful communicator, she kept me up to speed on how Olive was doing. I felt like Olive was in good hands and I didn’t have to worry about her at all (FWIW, I often worry about Olive when I am away).”

“Ferdinand seemed to have a great time with Rachael and her people! He walked into the yard and seemed immediately comfortable. We didn't see the inside, but when we picked him up he was happy and healthy and seemed great, which is all we could ask for. We were sent pics of him playing with the other dogs and Ferd looked as happy as ever. He’ll for sure be back the next time we need to leave him for a trip or even daycare:D”

“Mary was the best! First boarding with her and had so much relief knowing my dog was in good hands. The best part is my dog adapted well and had the time of her life being around other dogs. Mary was communicative and provided updates daily. I would 10/10 recommend and continue to use her as Demi’s pet sitter in the future!”

“This is our second time having Nancy dogsit for us and she is wonderful with our dog. Nancy is caring and sweet with our doggie. We especially appreciate her regular updates including video clips of their day together. We could see how happy our dog was with her. Will use her services again!”

“This was my first time using Rover, or any pet sitting service, and I couldn’t have been more content with how easy the process was to book the service. Our sitter, Lorelei, was beyond amazing with our fur baby. She consistently keep us updated with pictures and daily details of their day. It made me feel at ease about traveling without our fur baby. I completely recommend Lorelei and will be booking with her again in the future.”

“Barbara is the perfect sweetheart to leave your pup with. Uly felt so at home with her …immediately! Her back yard is divine for zoomies and she even took Uly different places for walks… like a surprise daily field trip!! He was such a happy kid we we picked him up. Barbara’s a gem you can trust :) with your pup!”

“I highly recommend Sarah as a sitter! Our Australian Shepherd can be a little shy and Sarah gave her lots of attention and took her to the dog park and for long walks. What a great sitter, and really nice person too!!”

“This was Kona's first time staying with Britt and it went very well. I was thankful for her special care she provided for him, the video and updates that I received. Kona has a couple meds he has to take (which can be tricky) but Britt got creative and was able to get him to take them! What a blessing to find a safe, caring home with other happy lil dogs for Kona to hang with. Thank you so much!”

“We could not have found a better person to trust our pup with! Teri has thought of everything to ensure a safe, comfortable and fun stay for the dogs she cares for. This was the first time boarding our rescue dog, and she can’t wait to go back! Lots of pictures and updates to put your mind at ease.”

“Belinda is just terrific! We had a last minute change and had to scramble to find a dog boarder. Belinda had great reviews….I see why. She has a facility and she is amazing with pets. She looked after my 2 corgis (who can be a little skittish around new people) and my girls came home happy! I will use her EVERY time when we need boarding services. I highly recommend her anyone who needs to boarder their furry kids!!!”

“I highly recommend Cynthia and plan to book again soon!. Our pup had an excellent experience, especially for her first visit. Cynthia went above and beyond in every category, including communication and care, walking her daily, and even giving her a bath. She came home bright, happy and in beautiful condition with special treats. Cynthia is a warm, caring, and very responsible sitter, noting all details. Her emphasis on safety, and frequent photos were especially appreciated. Our pup was very well looked after in every way, thanks to the kindness of Cynthia!”

“Jenny is excellent as always. We were gone for an extended trip to the Philippines, and she provided regular updates and cute pictures of Bouncer while we were away. I also asked if she would be able to give Bouncer a bath since we were gone for a while. Jenny kindly agreed. I gave Jenny additional compensation for this. I could tell that she went above and beyond for my dog. I'll be asking Jenny again for help with Bouncer in the future!”

“Edwina has been helping me with pet care over the last year when I’ve out of town and she has been the best. She always sends cute photos of the cats and is prompt with care and communication. I wouldn’t use anyone else!”

“Whitney is incredible!! My typically shy cat, Pip, became comfortable around Whitney almost immediately. Whitney is reliably communicative and sends such lovely photos. She is very capable at administering medication. I tend to worry whenever I leave Pip, but not with Whitney. I knew Pip was in such excellent care!”

“Oh my gosh, my kitties were so happy! They even used Ashely as their personal taxi service which is a thing (shoulder rides) they only do with my husband. Great to know my pets felt so comfortable while we were gone.”

“Mary-Elizabeth did a great job watching our cat. She’s an excellent communicator and has prompt responses. We also loved the cute photos she sent so we could see how our girl was doing. Would love to have her visit again!”

“Arianne took wonderful care of my two cats while I was out of town for a week. They took to her immediately during the meet and greet and were very relaxed upon my return. I highly recommend her and hope to be able to book her again for any future trips!”

About: Grew up in a dog loving home and loved going to dog shows. I have experience watching friends and family dogs when they're away. We have 2 friendly dogs of our own and they would be welcoming to your dog. We have lots of property for the dogs to run and play and a trail out back for the dogs to explore. Our yard does have an invisible fence with a collar if you're concerned.
“I don’t even have the words for how thankful we are to have found and connected with Jacqueline. We have two felines who are both so precious to us, family members, and Jacqueline took wonderful care of them and of our home. She went above & beyond when one of our cats became ill and she spent the better part of an entire day taking care of his needs. She spoke with doctors and staff, connected me to them and all online paperwork necessary, and when we found out his condition was critical — she took him to a full care hospital. We were in constant communication, it was a long agonizing travel day home for us, and we will be forever grateful for Jacqueline.”

“Heather did an amazing job watching my kitties over the holidays. One of my cats gets meds and she did a great job administering her meds. Thank you heather for taking such good care of my kitties. I appreciate it!”

And of course always making sure they have clean fresh water. • Litter Box: I make sure your cat has a fresh and hygienic litter box. Please let me know ahead of time if you have an escape artist and I will be extra careful and aware. • Attention: I love spending time with your fur babies. I will play with them to their heart’s content or even just giving cuddles and scratches. I want to comfort your cat and keep them happy and stress free. • Medication: If your cat requires medication, I will make sure to give your cat the correct medicine and dosage. Please talk over routine with me like when to give meds. • Respecting Routine: I make sure to follow the owners instructions regarding feeding, playtime, and sleeping areas.

About: Cats are creatures worthy of worship. And demand respect. Whatever age, they are always authentic and unapologetic. I deeply appreciate them, their intuition, instincts, and quirks. My dog will not accompany me for any of my drop in visits.

“While staying in Port Ludlow, we left our pup Lucy with Lauren for an afternoon while we played golf nearby. Her communication in making arrangements was great, and Lucy had a great stay. Thanks!”
“Very sweet and his family took care of my little guy! My boy isn’t the easiest to get along with but they treated him very well. He had a great time and was pretty pooped when I picked him back up. Recommend!”

“As always, Angela saves the day! She messaged me back right away despite me requesting daycare with very short notice. She saved me the stress and trip of dropping them off or picking up. And she took amazing care of our babies while they were with her. She’s the best!”

About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m new to Port Townsend and excited to connect with local pet parents. I recently said goodbye to my sweet dog of 12 years, and while I’m not ready for another pup of my own yet, I miss the daily joy of caring for animals — which is why I’m here. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I’m available for dog walks, drop‑ins, and overnight pet sitting. I’ve cared for many dogs and cats for friends and family over the years, and I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and personalities. If you’re looking for someone calm, reliable, and genuinely loving with animals, I’d be happy to help care for your furry family member. I currently work from home Monday through Thursday, which means I’m around throughout the day to give your pets consistent attention, companionship, and care. On Fridays through Sundays, I’m fully off — giving me even more flexibility for longer visits, overnights, or extra time with pets who need a little more company. Because I can take my computer anywhere there’s WiFi, I’m able to work from your home if needed. This allows me to keep your pets in their familiar environment while maintaining their normal routines. Whether they like midday play sessions, quiet company while they nap, or a structured schedule, I can be there. When I’m caring for your pets in your home, my goal is to make everything feel seamless, safe, and respectful — for both you and your animals. I’m extremely mindful of people’s privacy and personal space. If a door is closed, it stays closed. I only access the areas you’ve clearly indicated are part of your pet’s routine. Your home is your sanctuary, and I treat it with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I’m very detail‑oriented and follow instructions exactly as you provide them. Whether your pet has a specific feeding schedule, medication routine, favorite toy, or quirky bedtime ritual, I make sure everything is done just the way they’re used to. Consistency helps pets feel secure, and I take that seriously. You’ll never have to wonder how things are going while you’re away. I send daily updates — often more if you’d like — along with plenty of photos so you can see how happy and comfortable your pet is. My goal is to give you total peace of mind.
“Rachael is amazing with my dog! At first my dog was very shy but over time she has grown to love being dropped off for daycare! She jumps right out the car and goes right in when she realizes where we are at and there’s no better feeling than that. Rachel has always communicated with us daily when we leave our pup for longer periods, sending messages and pictures. She answers all of our questions and concerns from the beginning!”

“Zara had a wonderful first time visit with Stacey and River & Birdie. Stacey made her feel comfortable around the bigger dogs and she loved the one-on-one attention from Stacey. My pup was happy and tired when I picked her up. I will definitely book with her again.”

“Haden took excellent care with our Banjo, introducing him to her two big friendly dogs. Huge fenced shady acreage to run around in (although Banjo preferred to sit, sniff, listen and contemplate life). He even got to meet a sheep (from safely behind a fence)!”

“Stephanie took great care of coco. This was our first time pet sitting coco with Stephanie and we had a great experience. Coco came all happy and Stephanie sent pictures regularly during the entire stay.”

“Storm loves coming here when we're in town and I'm pretty sure zi and her pup feel the same way about storm. Always huge smiles and quick tail wags when they see each other. Always contact her first when in the area, highly recommend.”

“Angela and her family have been wonderful and communicative during Charlie’s first week of daycare. As it generally takes Charlie some time to settle into a new routine, this has been the smoothest transition I have had. 100% recommend Angela for daycare or pet sitting needs.”

“Amanda was a great host for my pup! She was flexible to my schedule, good communication and handled my hyper puppy well tiring her out. Very thankful for her help! Will definitely book again.”

“Anita took great care of my puppy Kaia. She provided maybe updates throughout the day. She was very accommodating to my drop off time and my schedule. She has a very nice place for the dog and a great sized fenced backyard. The best part about my puppy going with Anita is that she even did some training with her. I highly recommend her for all her services on rover. I look forward to booking more daycare appointments in the future.”

“Lily had a great time at daycare with Lindsay and Steven! They have a lovely house with a yard for the dogs to play, and I could tell they gave great attention to lily all day.”

About: —~> Ask about Farm Animal Care <~— Spending time with animals is a gift. It is a joy to meet new furry friends and give them extra love while their caretakers are out adventuring or working. I love to go for walks on the beach or in the woods. I like to chase sunsets and sunrises. All of which are more enjoyable with sweet creatures. I adore giving affection and opportunities to play for both cats and dogs. I have tended to a variety of different types of animals over the years. Some need ample one on one attention. Which I accommodate by giving them solo walks and separate meal times when requested. Others who loved to be social or had other animal roommates that needed plenty of outdoor time. Elder cats and dogs who needed extra special care, medication, fluids, and special diets. Dog and cat drop ins can make a world of difference for an animal navigating extended time away from their people/person. I give them all focused attention, consideration, bonding interactions and love. Dog walks are a vital key to their health and well being. It takes a village to tend to our critters too! Human and animal. I have many special spots for them to enjoy throughout the Olympic Peninsula. Including safe off leash areas when requested. I have a 7 year old dog, Hoodi. She does not come with me for cat or dog drop ins. Dog walks can include her company or not, always at your discretion. She does join me for overnight pet sitting and loves other dogs. She tends towards submissive and loves to chase and play. She is very mellow indoors and enjoys watching the activity of others. Throughout her life she has helped with pet sits. For her first four years of life she lived with two other dogs. She is a great addition to any pack. I have experience farm sitting which includes plant watering of green house, gardens, field and pasture. As well as goat milking, poultry care, and feeding of cows, horses, goats and pigs. Feel free to message me in booking about pricing for full time/part time farm care. Please note my pet sitting is limited to the Olympic Peninsula and Kitsap County. I pet sit most frequently in Port Townsend, Discovery Bay, Sequim, Blyn, Port Ludlow, Brinnon, Port Gamble, Quilcene, Chimacum, Port Hadlock, Irondale, and Marrowstone Island. Occasionally I will work in Port Angeles, Joyce, Forks, Queets, Poulsbo, Kingston, Bremerton, Bainbridge and Silverdale. I prefer extended house sits and like to build solid bonds with animals. I prioritize repeat clients. I have additional references outside of Rover. As many of my clients book me via word of mouth. This profile gives ease of access to my calendar. I currently work seasonally teaching art based school break kids camps and afterschool programing on the Olympic Peninsula. I spend the rest of my time making art from home and adventuring outdoors. This means I can have extended quality time with your pet(s) for walks and/or outdoor play and indoor care. Summer is my busiest season as a teacher. I have less availability during it. I believe maintaining routines and exercise is important for the physical and emotional well being of all animals. I will strive to uphold this and adapt my schedule as best as I can for your pet(s). I enjoy taking the time to communicate with you about your desires, concerns, texting check ins and sending sweet photos for your peace of mind. As every pet is an important family member. I know them to be kin.

“I highly recommend Sarah as a sitter! Our Australian Shepherd can be a little shy and Sarah gave her lots of attention and took her to the dog park and for long walks. What a great sitter, and really nice person too!!”

“April is absolute magic! She is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and has created such a wonderful space for the dogs. We left our two dogs with her for four days and felt completely at ease the entire time. She kept us updated, shared helpful insights on how we can continue improving our dogs’ behavior, and took exceptional care of our fur babies. We are so grateful for her and will absolutely be using her again and again!”

“Darin was great with communication and updates. I appreciated his attention to details and introducing Bailey to new the environment. Bailey had a great time and truly enjoyed all the extra attention he got.”

“Amanda watched our working line GSD for over a week while we were in Hawaii and she has watched him in the past for doggy daycare. She is the real deal and it made all the difference knowing he was safe and well cared for while we were gone. You can tell she has a ton of experience with dogs and other animals. She loves them yes but also understands how to keep them safe and set reasonable boundaries. Her property is ideal for dogs too with a big fenced yard and kennels. 10/10 recommend!”

“Matt did a great job taking care of Scout. He gave photo updates throughout Scout’s stay. Super easy drop off and pick up. Matt is also super thorough. During drop off, he took careful notes of additional dog sitting instructions. During pick up, he went through a checklist to make sure no belongings was left behind.”

“We couldn't have asked for a better sitter! Our dog was so well cared for, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We loved receiving daily photo updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!”

“Our dog seemed to have fun time running around in the yard and made friends with multiple dogs during his stay. Connor was great about providing daily updates and we will be back for future stays.”

“I am a repeat client and have had another amazing experience with Debra watching our anxious pup for over an week, and he looked to be having a great time hanging outside and exploring the property. I feeling very safe and confident leaving my dog with Debra!”
