About: Please don’t allow my reduced star rating to deter you from booking with me! I unfortunately took on a couple jobs that I shouldn’t have with dogs with behavior issues and the owners ended up blaming me although I provided the best care possible. :( I am now more diligent in asking the necessary questions before accepting a job. I do this because I love animals and also to earn very much needed extra income for my family of 8. I have had pets all my life including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, hamsters, frogs, and turtles. I also grew up in a small farm town for a good part of my childhood and was around a lot of farm animals. I currently have 1 dog of my own who is friendly and playful, as well as kids who can help keep your fur babies active and having fun. We live in a quiet neighborhood perfect for walks. I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and can work with your needs. I have mostly open availability on the weekends and also for boarding or overnight care. I have a yard with room to run, although it isn’t fenced, we do have an outdoor kennel area and a dog run line. I’m also able to crate pets inside if needed. I can also take dogs for walks around our quiet, private neighborhood, or to the dog park for more room to run.

“I booked Juanita on a very short notice (just half a day basically) to drop in visit my cat while I was going to travel for 4 days and she was kind enough to be help me out. She came in at very short notice to pick up my house keys. She sent me very detailed rover card of how Lyla did while I was away. Made sure she was fed and had clean litter box. She did exactly what I asked her to do. She sent me a lot of pictures of Lyla everyday so I felt very satisfied that she is in good hands! I highly recommend her! From big dogs to small, chill to playful, old to young, etc. I’ve sat multiple dogs at the same time, cared for a deaf puppy, another puppy with a strict schedule who ate specific meals and took medications, and I’ve also sat a cat! My biggest thing is just going to be communication for the animals needs and the owners preferences, so I can do the job successfully. By that I mean what time the animal eats, how much they eat, how often they need to go potty, things the animal likes/dislikes, any concerns the owner has, etc. really just anything the owner thinks is important to know! Very recently I received a new job offer where I’ll be starting work at 4am and ending around noon ish. From this point forward I won’t be able to care for any animals that cannot be left alone for the length of a work shift, but if they can then I’m still excited to pet/house sit and care for animals in my free time! I like to make pets that I care for feel at home. They’re always allowed on furniture, they get plenty of love and play time. I love practicing tricks with treats and going on walks in my neighborhood. As for caring for an animal in the clients home, I care for the pet in a clients home just the same as I would my own, with of course the added respect to the clients home. About: *MUST MEET ME AND MY LAB IN PUBLIC PRIOR TO BOOKING*. Although my lab, Hela loves everyone, unfortunately not every dog loves her so please set a meeting prior to booking! I'm flexible with times and locations! I offer attention to detail and love for pups. I'm the pup mom that knows all my dogs allergies and favorite foods! I've had dogs my entire life and even as a kid began training them! My friends always choose me when they are going out of town to watch their pups. I actually decided to join Rover after one of the pups I watch dads suggested I should! I work from home with my black lab who loves everyone and is a gentle soul (her 2 besties are a min pin and a golden retriever) and currently she is the only animal in my house. We take hourly stretch breaks to pee and play a little ball! I have a fenced yard with grass. If you'd like, I'll send cute pictures throughout the day too! Also if allowed, the pups go with me to get weekly pups cups from Starbs. I work from home and have a black lab, so all day everyday I do pet care. My job fortunately makes it easy to interact with thr pups and make sure their needs are taken care of. Prior to recently (they moved), I was watching a golden retriever (Duke) along with my lab every week day and his dad is who suggested I start rover as he would often say "I know my buddy is safe and happy here, he has the best of time". Currently, when we have a guest I make sure there food is prepared and on time. We take hourly potty and play breaks (more if requested - I have a buzzer my dog presses). The rest of the day the pups are free to roam the house with me. I have dog beds (including some in my office), thousands of toys (my dog unfortunately does not destroy anything lol), and when we have an overnight guest, the pups sleep in the bed with me (unless otherwise requested). I go on walks all the time here. I’ve had family pets my entire life and have had my own to take care of by myself so I feel I’m qualified to take on this responsibility. I started Rover around 4 years ago while living in NYC and dog sat nearly every weekend! I’ve had experience with all sorts of pets. From big dogs to small, chill to playful, old to young, etc. I’ve sat multiple dogs at the same time, cared for a deaf puppy, another puppy with a strict schedule who ate specific meals and took medications, and I’ve also sat a cat! My biggest thing is just going to be communication for the animals needs and the owners preferences, so I can do the job successfully. By that I mean what time the animal eats, how much they eat, how often they need to go potty, things the animal likes/dislikes, any concerns the owner has, etc. really just anything the owner thinks is important to know! Very recently I received a new job offer where I’ll be starting work at 4am and ending around noon ish. From this point forward I won’t be able to care for any animals that cannot be left alone for the length of a work shift, but if they can then I’m still excited to pet/house sit and care for animals in my free time! I like to make pets that I care for feel at home. They’re always allowed on furniture, they get plenty of love and play time. I love practicing tricks with treats and going on walks in my neighborhood. As for caring for an animal in the clients home, I care for the pet in a clients home just the same as I would my own, with of course the added respect to the clients home. I like to keep a moto of “leave it better than how you found it”.

About: I am equally comfortable with dogs and cats so multi pet homes aren’t an issue. I hold great patience for shy or independent pets and real energy for dogs that need active walks or playtime. I have no issue with adjusting to what your pet actually needs rather than introducing a generic routine. Currently I am a student so I am best for the weekends but if you need help during the week my Wednesday’s are open and Tuesday and Thursday evenings are available as well for visits.
