About: I've spent a few different winters working for a doggy daycare where you need to arrange a schedule for each dog to go walk and go play. Some days we would have forty plus dogs all needing care and attention. I've also volunteered a substantial amount on many organic farms and working with all sorts of animals, learning how to read different animal personalities and manage their care I currently work from home and on the side have picked up many gigs and different short term services to fill the gaps in my schedule. Dog visits and walks are one of my favorite ways to break the day up and make it less boring. Feeding according to owners schedule and multiple short walks each day. About: I moved from Mi to Wa in 2015 and decided in 2018 to be a dog walker. That was in King county and after moving to a house in 2021, dog boarding turned into my new side job. Last year I also enrolled in Victoria Stilwell’s Academy for positive training. So I am very aware of dog’s body language and needs. I absolutely love dogs and they are truly my life now but when I was 8 that wasn’t the case. I was bit in the face by a family friend’s dog. He was old and on medication, I startled him awake which led to him biting me. From this incident, I watched Victoria Stilwell on animal planet to get over my fear of bigger dogs and here I am today with a certification in dog training and starting my career with human’s best friend. My goal is for you and your dog to be as comfortable as possible. I only treat dogs/pets as I would want someone to treat mine (and believe me I am a high maintenance pet mom 😉) Dogs are my job. Whether it is boarding, sitting, or walking; this is what I do full time. Sometimes I do Instacart to get out a bit but will do that when my boyfriend is home. I am starting up my bath bomb business again so to have a companion working alongside with me is my ideal work day. My boyfriend works from home majority of the time, so there is always someone home. His kids do come over 50% of the week and are very kind and helpful with dogs that are boarding with me. They are 12 and 11 so they aren’t little kids. I have lick mats, Kong Gyro, and plenty of space for your dog to have fun at my house. My house is fenced in, we are updating the property all the time to make sure it is safe as possible. For larger dogs, I have a bell on a ziptie to put on your dog’s collar just so I can hear where they are at all times when I am outside with them. For smaller pups, I always go outside with them due to being in an open area so they are safe. I also have a 30’ leash that I can hook them to for extra safety. Inside, I make them as comfortable as possible. Whatever they like at home I try my best to provide at my house.

About: I’ve always had animals in my life since I was little. So I’ve learned at a young age how to care for animals. I currently have two dogs, a Goldendoodle named Ollie (4) and a senior dog Bella who is 17 1/2! So I’ve had experience with both the puppy stage and now the senior stage. I’m also a mom of 3 kiddos. They’re all in school so I’ve been looking for something to fill my time while they’re in school. So what a perfect way to do that and do what I love and hang with animals 😊 I drop my kids off at school by 9am everyday and pick up around 2:30. So I have that time in between for walking dogs etc I have two friendly dogs at home and kids who love animals too. I don’t have a fenced yard but I can always keep a close eye on the dog when they go potty or play outside. If they need to be leased at all times I can do that too.

“This was our first time using Rover and we could rave on and on about Luisa. We used her while we were out of town for 5 days. She was very communicative, friendly, sent us tons of pictures and videos and treated our dog Stitch like one of her own including taking her to the park. When we picked Stitch up she gave us some key emergency docs that are recommended to have (she's pet CPR certified) and then she checked in with us later to make sure Stitch was adjusting back home ok. She is a natural pet lover and a wonderful person. Definitely found Stitch's new home away from home!”
