My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She was also flexible in drop off time as I had a brain fart when initially booking the stay. I will definitely choose Allison again for future stays!”

About: I've had pets and cared for animals of all kinds since I was a kid - It wasn't uncommon for me to arrive home from school to surprise my unsuspecting mother with a new furry critter, and I will happily care for your animals too. I have tons of experience with many different breeds, sizes and temperaments of dogs, and have great respect for them all. At this time, I do not have capacity to take in large breed puppies under 2 years of age. (Sorry ☹️) Animal care is a top priority around here - We'd love to watch your dogs when you need to go somewhere and can't take them with you. We can handle overnight boardings 7 days a week; I do have a day job and work from home most of the time, so can work with most schedules including early morning and late evening. My husband is also here to care for dogs. We have a large house and a fenced dog run to keep dogs secure - We allow dogs on furniture and in our beds, pets are for loving and snuggling! If your pet has special needs, perhaps they require medication or they are a senior and need a lot of extra care when moving about, etc., I am glad to assist them.

Her daily pictures were great to see as we knew they were being well taken care of. About: Growing up, my dad was allergic to anything with fur. Therefore, I had lizards, fish, birds and every stuffed animal under the sun. I always jumped at the opportunity to spend time with neighbor pets and would beg to give the dogs a bath (my neighbors loved me lol). At the age of 10 I got my first horse (who I still have, 16 years later) and at the age of 14 I got my first dog. He was a Catahoula named Kyser, and he was anything but easy! I lived out of state for 2 years, and during that time I worked at a veterinary clinic and did pet sitting for clients. I miss it! I work M-F 8am-4pm, so I am only available weekends for boarding (potential for weekdays depending on the dog/situation). I am available after work for drop ins or walks! I have a fenced yard with a large male dog named Ozzy. He loves little dogs and female large dogs. He is a bit standoffish with other large males so I am unable to watch them. I would rather play it safe. I would NEVER leave the dogs together unattended. Ozzy is crate trained and has his own room so stepping out of the house would not be an issue.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, managed and milked dairy cattle, and took care of pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!

About: I am an experienced obedience dog trainer who wishes for a work-life balance helping animals!! Animals have been my passion throughout my life, ranging from reptiles, rodents, to dogs. My goal is to further expand my knowledge in dog training and to learn everything there is to help guide me into more opportunities working with furballs! Having animals of my own, as well as having many in the family, has given me experience with handling. About: I’ve had pets my whole life growing up. I have done everything from dog boarding, feeding, bathroom breaks and walks. I truly enjoy taking care of animals! I’m currently a stay at home mom with tons of available time! I’m available any weekday or weekend. Morning, afternoons and evenings! I have a 7 year old daughter who also loves animals and is very aware of their space. I live on 2-1/3 acres tucked away on a small private road. My Property does not have a fence however anytime the dogs are out I am supervising. I have a very large outdoor kennel as well. It’s an absolute dream for dogs who love to run around and play! I have an 8 year old mini Australian Shepherd who is full of energy so he can play all day with the super energetics dogs. Or they can have separate space if need be as well. I also have an entire living room dedicated to dogs where there are gates to keep them in. Comfy Chairs, couch and dog beds for them to lay on. For boarding We have dog crates that we can put in the living room or in a separate room if need be.

About: Honestly, I'm just a huge animal lover. I've got a goofy Lab-Pittie mix who's my best buddy, and I still miss my two sweet Norwegian Lundehunds like crazy. I'd absolutely love to spend time with your dog, whether it's a long hike, a park visit, or just some good cuddle time. Since I'm home all the time, I'm super flexible. I'm also happy to handle any special needs or meds – they'll be treated like part of the family, I promise! Can't wait to meet your furry friend! I'm semi-retired so my time is flexible. I can be there for your fur baby early in the morning or later into the evening. Weekends are no problem and I'm even available on holidays! I get it – your pet is special, and their care should be too. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I take the time to really listen to you and observe your pet, so I can provide exactly what they need, whether it's a good walk, a timely meal, or just some quiet comfort. My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She was also flexible in drop off time as I had a brain fart when initially booking the stay. I will definitely choose Allison again for future stays!”
