“My dogs mean everything to me and it can be difficult to find a dog sitter who understands the assignment. Allison understood the assignment. My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She was also flexible in drop off time as I had a brain fart when initially booking the stay. I will definitely choose Allison again for future stays!”

About: We have raised many dogs and treat them as family. We have worked with puppies and senior dogs and everything in between. We are familiar with providing meds as needed as well. I work full time in Construction Management but I am currently working from home a few days a week and open weekends for ample time to spend with your pups. We also host a Sniffspot private dog park for rent out on our property that we can take walks on in between bookings and live right down from Little Mountain Park for hiking or walking along the trails. We also live conveniently located 3 miles from I-5 for quick drop off and pickup off the freeway. I am available on all days of the week for boarding depending on the dog and owner with a meet and greet as I will be at the office Monday - Wednesday from 0730-400 and the dog would be with my at my office which sits on multiple acres with walks every 2 hours. We had cats and dogs while I was growing up and it was part of my daily routine to care for those animals. About: I've owned multiple dogs at a time all my life. As an Airbnb host I offer doggy daycare for guests as well as traveling to people's homes for long-term pet care. The property is 20 acers of free roaming land. We also have a fenced area for less trustworthy pups. Those less trustworthy still get lots of exercise and loving outside the dog yard. Pets can sleep in the house with family dogs or in a crate. I live and work on the property so your pet will have 24 hour care and attention. If for any reason they need to be left alone they are placed with our dogs in the house or the fenced yard. We have 3 dogs (Beagle, Springer and Doodle) that have full run of the place and are very kind and playful. We play fetch everyday and take long walks. If you have a smaller inside pup they will lounge on one of our many dog beds. We have plenty of pet toys.

As a school bus driver, I work 6-10 AM, then have few hours break and go back to my afternoon drive 2-6 PM. To ensure proper care for animals, I like to book clients no further than a 30 min drive from Sedro Woolley. Please take this into consideration when looking at a sitter for your pets! The school year ends June 12th and I am available until mid-July. Afterwards, I am taking time off for my own motorcycle travels (this time to Colorado) and then spend August in Europe :) I have owned cats, large dogs (100 + lbs), and horses over the years, so I'm well-versed in handling a variety of pet needs. I am comfortable around animals and can stand my ground with them. I enjoy large breeds and, having two 150Lbs + dogs before I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of them! I am available for short and long term stays in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Dogs, cats, horses, turtles and fish - all welcomed and loved! I have 2 children, a 10 year old boy, named Orion, and my daughter Kaylee, who would have been 22 years old, unfortunately she passed away from a car accident in 2020. I was in FFA for 4 years and raised a pig all 4 years to sell at the fair. Shawn is from the Arlington area and was also raised with animals. He has raised everything from goats to kittens. We feel that your pets aren't just pets, but more like a child, and we know the importance of finding the right care for your Fur-Babies. A majority of the pets we have cared for have been rescue pets. The the transition for them is hard enough as it is being left at a stranger's house, and we don't want to make that transition any more difficult for them. We ask that you bring an item with them, something that they associate with you and home. Also we ask for these items as well: food, food bowl, and water bowl, bed or bedding, toys they may want to play with, treats, and of course a daily interaction log ( we want to keep them on the same routine that they are use to, or as close to it as we can) I also try and send pictures daily, but in the off chance I miss a day, I send extra shots the next day. If we sound like a good fit for you, we are always happy to set up a meet and greet at our place for introductions. (We have also taken in fur-kids without meet and greets.)
