“Left my pups (and houseplants) with Jenny while I was gone on vacation over the Christmas holidays. She was great, and the pups were pooped when I brought them home! I happened to have a vet appointment for Max that I'd scheduled a couple of days after my vacation. Both dogs had lost a few pounds, yeah! And Max's back right knee was doing very well, no swelling, heat or favoring. Jenny and her family did a great job with keeping an eye on him and keeping him from overdoing it. They were also very understanding when I managed to screw up my pickup date. I'd inadvertently written down my return flight on the day before it was actually scheduled, so I'd scheduled their pickup time for the next day, just about at the time when my flight was supposed to depart. And of course, the flight was delayed about two and a half hours. Luckily, I was able to pick them up about 5 hours after the designated pickup time. I will definitely be looking to her for boarding again in the future!”

About: Hello! I am 27 years old, and I used to own and adore 2 rat terriers and 4 cats, and took care of 3 others who all lived in the same house! While I no longer get to see them since I moved, I still love and adore animals. I've had the pleasure of petsitting for friends and aquaintances, with a good variety of animals! I have a soft spot for big personalities, and senior animals. Due to seasonal work, I'm not currently as available as I'd like to be, and will be working a sporadic schedule for the next few months. But other than that, I do my best to be available for whatever the pet needs, whether it be feeding, cleaning litter, taking them on walks, or sitting overnight. Keeping your home just as clean as you left it, and your pet happier! I'm generally a tidy, quiet person so no worries about disturbing the neighbors, and if your dog has special treats or toys I'd love to hear about them!

About: Hi! I'm Frankie! My wife, Stacy, and I have been dog-sitting at our house for the last 4 years. Our miniature dachshund, Maverick, is the head of our house and is looking to make new friends. Maverick is well-trained, friendly and is currently learning to hunt truffles! He loves meeting new friends and would be thrilled to have a new playdate. Our home is single-story with a fully fenced backyard, plenty of grass to run around, and enough squirrels to keep Maverick busy throughout the day. We're around throughout the week, so your dog will be supervised and receive plenty of attention. Expect regular backyard time, walks around the neighborhood and cuddles. There is a ramp for couch access (Maverick mostly uses it). Small/medium dogs are welcome on the couch. We also have plenty of dog beds, blankets, toys and a gate to provide separation during mealtimes, if needed. We treat all dogs as family and aim to provide a chill, safe environment for them to play and relax while you're away. We have experience with dogs large and small, blind dogs and dogs with special care needs. We look forward to meeting and hosting your pup! - Frankie, Stacy & Mav 🐾 We're home almost all the time. I'm available throughout the week and my wife works remotely, so your dog will always have someone around. If we ever do need to step out for errands, we're never gone for more than an hour or two. We use a gate (if needed) to keep your dog safe while we're out. We have a fenced yard and a mini dachshund, Maverick, to keep your dog company. Plenty of grass outside, dog ramp for the couch, gates to separate (if needed) and multiple dog beds.

I previously volunteered with the Humane Society for Southwest Washington (HSSW), where I worked primarily with large dogs. Through my volunteer work, I completed dog safety training and learned how to recognize and de-escalate potentially stressful situations to help keep both animals and people safe. I am also an Eagle Scout. For my Eagle Scout service project, I designed and built an outdoor shelter structure for HSSW that provides volunteers and staff with protection from the weather while supervising dogs in the play yard. About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life, and I absolutely love animals of all kinds. I have cared for many dogs and helped train my own, including ones who have behavioral/food guarding issues. I have cared both puppies and senior dogs, including a household that required pet separation due to behavioral issues. I am well-versed in things like potty training, giving medication, basic grooming , and keeping animals away from possessions/getting into food/etc. I take care of any animals I pet-sit for like my own, and I am committed to making sure they are safe and happy. I currently have a very open schedule, but will update if needed. If 24/7 supervision or overnight care is not requested, I may run errands or go back home between checking on your animals. Frequency of check-ins depends on location, and while I will attend to your pet to the maximum of my ability, each situation will be handled on a case by case basis. Upfront communication about what you and your pet need is highly appreciated. I am committed to making sure any special instructions are followed, and I will see that your animals get their needs met both adequately and on time. This includes making sure medications are given on time, water is filled, walks are long enough and not during hot parts of the day, and animals are let out of crates when needed. I am totally fine with cleaning up after indoor bathroom accidents/vomit, although if this is a frequent issue with your pet please let me know beforehand. My main goal is to make sure your home is the same as it was when you left it.

“Left my pups (and houseplants) with Jenny while I was gone on vacation over the Christmas holidays. She was great, and the pups were pooped when I brought them home! I happened to have a vet appointment for Max that I'd scheduled a couple of days after my vacation. Both dogs had lost a few pounds, yeah! And Max's back right knee was doing very well, no swelling, heat or favoring. Jenny and her family did a great job with keeping an eye on him and keeping him from overdoing it. They were also very understanding when I managed to screw up my pickup date. I'd inadvertently written down my return flight on the day before it was actually scheduled, so I'd scheduled their pickup time for the next day, just about at the time when my flight was supposed to depart. And of course, the flight was delayed about two and a half hours. Luckily, I was able to pick them up about 5 hours after the designated pickup time. I will definitely be looking to her for boarding again in the future!”

About: Hi! I'm Frankie! My wife, Stacy, and I have been dog-sitting at our house for the last 4 years. Our miniature dachshund, Maverick, is the head of our house and is looking to make new friends. Maverick is well-trained, friendly and is currently learning to hunt truffles! He loves meeting new friends and would be thrilled to have a new playdate. Our home is single-story with a fully fenced backyard, plenty of grass to run around, and enough squirrels to keep Maverick busy throughout the day. We're around throughout the week, so your dog will be supervised and receive plenty of attention. Expect regular backyard time, walks around the neighborhood and cuddles. There is a ramp for couch access (Maverick mostly uses it). Small/medium dogs are welcome on the couch. We also have plenty of dog beds, blankets, toys and a gate to provide separation during mealtimes, if needed. We treat all dogs as family and aim to provide a chill, safe environment for them to play and relax while you're away. We have experience with dogs large and small, blind dogs and dogs with special care needs. We look forward to meeting and hosting your pup! - Frankie, Stacy & Mav 🐾 We're home almost all the time. I'm available throughout the week and my wife works remotely, so your dog will always have someone around. If we ever do need to step out for errands, we're never gone for more than an hour or two. We use a gate (if needed) to keep your dog safe while we're out. We have a fenced yard and a mini dachshund, Maverick, to keep your dog company. Plenty of grass outside, dog ramp for the couch, gates to separate (if needed) and multiple dog beds.
