About: While I love all animals, cats hold a special place in my heart. I begged for a kitten when I was 8, praying that my parents would let me take home one from my friend’s barn cat litter. These are some of my clearest and most treasured childhood memories. Skittles was my best friend and I spent hours getting to know her as an individual. I learned to be very sensitive to cat communication as a child and I respect the patience and time it takes to gain the trust of those with shy or aggressive personalities. Cats are endlessly fascinating creatures and each one is a unique individual just like people. One of my first moves as an adult was to adopt a 5yr old rescue tuxedo named Pickles. I wanted to add to the family, but she had other plans and was destined to be an only child. I quickly referred to her as my “first born.” We worked through so many cat care challenges with her over the years and I can now confidently do everything from providing a nail trim without getting scratched to administering challenging medical treatments including injections and enemas. I now foster kittens from a local rescue during kitten season, and we adopted 3 of them along with a rescue pup last summer. I want to adopt them all, but I’ll have to settle for fostering, cat sitting for others and the occasional afternoon at a cat cafe!

About: I'm in college, studying to be a Veterinary Technician. I've had many types of animals and I've been caring for animals as a way to make money for several years- predominantly dogs. I am free on weekends. I'm usually free on Wednesday and Monday. I'm available at 1pm on Tuesdays, and I'm available on Fridays and Thursdays after 4pm. I have my own dog that could use a friend! He is a high-energy lab that loves to play and run! There has never been a dog that he hasn’t enjoyed, but because he is big and high-energy, he can be overwhelming for some dogs. If your dog is small, unfriendly, or nervous, this might not be the right match for you. If your dog is medium-giant (his best friend is a shy Great Dane), energetic, friendly, or even slightly psychotic as most high-energy dogs are, I got you! My schedule is very flexible so please don’t hesitate to reach out, even if Rover says I am not available during the times you need! I work from home for one job and am a substitute for my other job, so I can adjust my schedule according to your dog’s needs! I have a car to transport dogs if needed, but I would prefer drop-offs. Dogs get lots of attention and walks! We have lots of fields nearby for fetch and playing, and there is also a trail that leads to a creek for swimming. I have a fenced backyard, but unfortunately half of it is blocked off right now so my gardens can be safe from digging pups and zoomies. There is still room to run and play! I also have a dog pool and a sprinkler for dogs to cool off in (when it’s hot). I have a 2 year old lab at home that loves to play and is super friendly!

About: I grew up on a farm and have always been surrounded by animals of all kinds. I’ve had lifelong experience caring for pets, especially dogs and cats. I provide loving, attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. I handle all care personally. I am recently retired and want to stay active. I have two adult daughters who are active on Rover, walking and boarding dogs in Seattle and Tucson. I live on a 300-acre farm in Custer, WA, where I grew up with dogs of all different breeds. Later in life, I raised a black lab from a pup. Her name was Keela; she was very smart and lovable and lived to be 14 years old. Pets in my care receive constant supervision, regular exercise, and a calm, clean environment. I care for each pet myself and prioritize safety, comfort, and trust.

I treat every animal like they’re part of the family and care for them the same way I’d want someone to care for my own pets. I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home as a university student currently off for the summer. This allows me to provide pets with lots of attention, supervision, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I’m available for daytime care and overnight boarding, and I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine to help them feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have years of experience caring for animals, not only my own pets, but also pet sitting and caring for the pets of friends, family and clients over the years. I have looked after animals with different personalities, routines, and energy levels, so I understand how important patience, consistency, and attentiveness are when caring for someone’s pet. I live in a clean, pet-friendly townhouse with a front yard, and pets in my care are welcome to freely roam around the home and make themselves comfortable. They are absolutely allowed on the furniture because I want them to feel as relaxed, loved, and at home as possible during their stay. Because I am home most of the day, pets receive lots of supervision, companionship, playtime, cuddles, and attention throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods. I am also a very active and routine-oriented person, so walks, potty breaks, feeding schedules, and playtime are always kept consistent and reliable. Since I already enjoy going on walks daily myself, your dog will get plenty of exercise, outdoor time, and stimulation. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to learn their routine, preferences, and comfort level to help them feel safe and stress-free while away from home. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or more calm and cuddly, I will make sure they receive patient, loving, and attentive care every step of the way. For daycare and overnight boarding, I ask owners to provide food, treats, leash/harness, medications (if needed), and any comfort items like toys or blankets to help their pets settle in comfortably.
