“In short, Taylor is excellent. My cat “Mouse” has some minor medical issues. He requires meds to be given with food, and has some related issues that need specific responses. I gave the basics of his needs in my profile, and then gave more details verbally to Taylor before she took care of him for a few days. During our conversation before care started, she was taking notes, then went over them with me to ensure her notes were accurate. During her time taking care of Mouse, she provided very detailed notes and pictures from her visits. It was clear that she followed my instructions explicitly. She mentioned some things that happened during her visits due to his medical issues, and noted how she responded. It was very comforting to know that she responded correctly, per my instructions, and kept me up to date on how he was doing. It’s clear that she cares about the animals that she takes care of, and knows how to earn their trust. She didn’t push or force herself on Mouse, she gently let him check her out and accept her presence before proceeding to interact more with him. When she interacted with him, she was very perceptive in learning what he likes and doesn’t like. Mouse clearly enjoyed his time with her. Finally, it’s a little scary letting someone you don’t know in to your life and house to take care of your pet. My daughter couldn’t visit as often as needed, and really wanted me to find other friends who could visit Mouse. That’s easier said than done, especially because I travel a lot. After seeing the visit notes and pictures that Taylor provided, Taylor won my daughter over. She could clearly see how well Taylor was taking care of Mouse, and said Taylor took better care of Mouse than she did. I can’t give higher praise than that. I’m looking forward to future trips with Taylor taking care of Mouse.”

About: For four years, I provided dependable care for my friend’s cat and bunny while she attended college in another city. I made sure they were fed on schedule, refreshed their water daily, cleaned litter boxes and living areas, monitored their health and behavior, gave them affection and attention, and ensured they felt safe and comfortable. I have taken care of animals ever since I started college and did it almost monthly for two years. I can do daily check ups after 4:15pm from Monday through Friday. I can do full day pet sitting on Saturday and Sunday when needed. I’m a person who’s job is to make sure everyone is safe and without doubt I will bring that when pet sitting. Safety is priority.

About: Misty (my sweet 8-year-old Lab) and I have three acres to play on, with Chickens, ducks and dwarf goats to play with. We are outside almost all the time, weather permitting. If you want your dog to get a lot of attention and have a lot of fun instead of just sitting around, we might be the place for you! I'm retired so am available most days (Sunday through Friday) for extended hours. I am always with Misty so if we find the right dog or dogs to hang out with us I will be very flexible about hours. We have three acres completely fenced, although I am in the middle of upgrading the fence from 4 feet tall to 6 to keep out deer. In the morning we feed the animals and water the garden and ornamental flowers/bushes and trees. Then it is play time or projects. We play fetch, take the goats for a walk on the property, or go on an adventure walk to visit neighbor dogs and smell all of the things! In between playing I work on projects around the property. Planting, harvesting, landscaping, etc. In the heat we take breaks inside with air conditioning and in the cold we take breaks to warm up but we'd almost always rather be outside where the fun is!
About: We have dogs, snakes, and a bunny. We have kept exotic pets for the past 10 years and love caring for all animals! Even the grouchy ones 😊 Our dogs eat at 12:30 and at 6:30 each day with frequent trips outside. They are friendly and we keep them trained to eat only out of their own bowls. Pet care is daily life in our home (with my spouse) and we both take pride in our relationships with animals I will frequently check for assent amongst pets to ensure safety and wellbeing. If animals need to be separated, we live in our finished basement and work upstairs, making it easy to both separate and engage with all the animals frequently. About: Hello! I'm Taylor! My husband and I moved here from the Midwest a couple years ago and loved it so much we bought our first home! We brought our tuxedo cat, Benedict Mongoose "Goose" Cumberbatch, and our 15-year-old (but you wouldn't know it) puggle, Chuck, along for the ride, and they cannot wait to make friends with your fur babies!! My love for animals is as old as I am. I grew up with sibling pairs of Great Danes, Shih Tzus, Rot/Lab mixes, and German Shepherds. About: I’ve had dogs around me my whole life; from active labs to precocious cocker spaniels to mutts with needs, I’m happy to provide the care your pets need while you’re away. I’m flexible with all play styles and feeding habits, all while staying firm against begging for food we can’t have and keeping a close eye on problem behaviors such as digging or pillow ripping. I love all kinds of dogs, from hyperactive to couch potatoes, malamutes to chihuahuas, puppies to senior dogs. I’ll be sure to keep your fluffy friends entertained and well kept while you’re away! As for walking, I always strive to make sure your four legged friend has their share of exercise and fresh air. My time is currently open to weekdays from 6 am to 11 pm. I have a preference for crate trained dogs, but for those more well-behaved, I have no qualms. As for cats, I’m happy to keep quiet and leave them to their own pace, letting myself be available to them while not invading their space.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a child,love dogs,cats, chickens , cows, horses,you name it! Will definitely give your family member love and care while you are away, whether at my house or yours! Currently not working elsewhere,our little ranch is busy. We have Dogs, Kitty's, chickens and fish in our little water feature,so am available to spend lots of time with your family member! I have a kennel available and my dogs and cats are wonderful! Obviously,we will talk about leash walking as we free range our chickens and would never set someone's family member up for failure by putting any animal around things they are unfamiliar with. I am equipped to deal with situations if any of the animals ever seem uncomfortable! Also have a new smaller fenced area!
About: I am a big animal lover and can help with many things needed to give your animal the best care! have had many pets throughout the years; Cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens. I have also helped watching others pets. I have been a stay at home mom and with my kid going back to school I will have plenty of time available throughout the week. I do not have a fenced yard but I do have a big yard in a great neighborhood. I have chickens as well as an indoor cat that is 9 years old.
About: I've had a cared for my own dog since I was 11 and cats since I was able to walk. I've always helped out with my grandparents dogs before having my own as well. Im currently working park time. So I have plenty of time to be with your pets! Just need time to check on my own kitty every once in a while. I live in an apartment, probably not the best for me to take in your pets. About: I have two dogs of my own, one dog is Bud who is a golden doodle 2 years old and 85 pounds. My other dog is Lola who is a yorkie 14 years old and 15 pounds. I have a lot of experience with all the ages and sizes of dogs as well as senior dogs. I have always grown up with pups in the house. My family has 2 teacup chihuahuas and 2 frenchies. It is safe to say I have a good diversity in all kinds of dogs and how to care for different animals. I have also had a bunny in my past which was a fun time and lots of fish too! About: I got my first dog Ginger (Golden Retriever) when I was very young maybe about four or five years old. When she had puppies, I helped my parents take care of them. After Ginger, I grew up around several other dogs including Labrador Retrievers, a Schnauzer, Boston Terrier, Chihuahua, Great Pyrenees. I have had six years experience caring for my partner's Shepsky who is high anxiety including separation anxiety and when my mom is out of town for an extended period of time I care for her dog which includes medication administration. I currently work part time and have a very flexible schedule and the summer off from school so I can adapt to your needs as a pet sitter! When caring for pets in a client's home, I first like to conduct a meet and greet to learn your pet's specific routine with tasks like feeding and potty breaks and medications and scheduled administration if any. I will stick to this to reduce anxiety and excel at providing consistent communication with photo updates as needed. I also believe in respecting a client's home and belongings and abide by the "leave a place better than you found it" rule.

Also note that Clancy is a puppy (7 months old & weighs 48+ lbs) with lots of energy and Lauren handled him expertly.”
