About: Hi! I’m Sabrina, I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. We’ve currently got a 3 year old 50 lb mix breed female dog named Maple who loves to meet dog friends and play. Also have 2 cats in the home who don’t mind dogs as long your dog(s) won’t go after them. I’m home most of the day and your dog(s) would be able to play with Maple, nap on our couches and chill with our family until you get back! I’m home most of the time, so your dog won’t be left alone. My daily routine includes exercising my dog in our backyard daily so your dog can join in fetch or fun sniffing or doggy chase, or whatever they want! We have a large fenced backyard, and a sweet female dog to keep yours company. I’m home most of the day, so your pup won’t be left alone.

“In short, Taylor is excellent. My cat “Mouse” has some minor medical issues. He requires meds to be given with food, and has some related issues that need specific responses. I gave the basics of his needs in my profile, and then gave more details verbally to Taylor before she took care of him for a few days. During our conversation before care started, she was taking notes, then went over them with me to ensure her notes were accurate. During her time taking care of Mouse, she provided very detailed notes and pictures from her visits. It was clear that she followed my instructions explicitly. She mentioned some things that happened during her visits due to his medical issues, and noted how she responded. It was very comforting to know that she responded correctly, per my instructions, and kept me up to date on how he was doing. It’s clear that she cares about the animals that she takes care of, and knows how to earn their trust. She didn’t push or force herself on Mouse, she gently let him check her out and accept her presence before proceeding to interact more with him. When she interacted with him, she was very perceptive in learning what he likes and doesn’t like. Mouse clearly enjoyed his time with her. Finally, it’s a little scary letting someone you don’t know in to your life and house to take care of your pet. My daughter couldn’t visit as often as needed, and really wanted me to find other friends who could visit Mouse. That’s easier said than done, especially because I travel a lot. After seeing the visit notes and pictures that Taylor provided, Taylor won my daughter over. She could clearly see how well Taylor was taking care of Mouse, and said Taylor took better care of Mouse than she did. I can’t give higher praise than that. I’m looking forward to future trips with Taylor taking care of Mouse.”

We love our boys just like our kids, they are such a big part of our family. I am semi retired and live on 9 acres where I love to walk the dogs and allow them to play freely. I have balls, frisbees, sand dig spots, just about anything your pet might enjoy. I have plenty of space. About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a baby, I’d say my experience in caring for them started at about 5! We had 6 family dogs when I was a child. I love to go on walks and have a furry friend to enjoy them with! Playing fetch and tug-o-war, and watching a movie together has always been my go to when at home. I have given meds in food before as well as ear drops, and eye drops! I am currently working from home, and have quite a bit of flexibility in my schedule. I currently own a 90lb Golden Retriever named StilestheGR and 2 cats Millie and Montana. I used to operate a dog rescue (the stray saver in me) for 5 years and am proud to say that our operation saved and rehomed over 500 dogs. I love all animals, I would say cats are on my intermediate list of knowledge and dogs are my specialty! My main focus on Rover is dog walking/hiking or even adventure outings but I also do drop-ins and house sitting. I do currently work full-time M-F and typically have early evenings and weekends available to my rover clients. I’m available M-F evenings and all day and night on weekends. I typically only need one day notice for bookings and 3 day notice for cancelations. My current capabilities are walking dogs and house sitting.
