About: I am new to Rover, but have worked in the Animal Health Industry as a Veterinarian Technician (animal nurse) and outside sales/customer service for the past 30+ years. Along with the background check Rover provides, I also have a Business License and I am Insured/Bonded. Animal care is my only business/job. I have two spare bedrooms, two large porches for either sunning or shade and air conditioning. I am currently only taking up to 3 dogs at one time. Please be up to date on vaccinations (including kennel cough), worming and monthly flea/tick control. I live in a quiet/peaceful valley. Please no excessive barkers and bring their food, treats and special toys. Please allow enough time for a 1st time meet and greet prior to finalizing the booking. About: I have many years of experience with dogs and cats through personal pet ownership and former employment as a Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Attendant. My husband and I have 6 spoiled dogs and two cats that we adore. I enjoy taking my dogs for walks in the park and throwing a tennis ball for some play and exercise. I I have experience taking care of senior dogs and blind dogs. Also some grooming experience through an on line course and 150 externship hours. About: I have 7 dogs, and 7 snakes, a pet rat and a pet bunny. I also have 4 children. I'm an active person who loves to work with animals. I have a wide range of animal experiences. I went to school and got my vet assisting certificate. My dogs enjoy playing in our fenced in yard and playing with the kids who are always excited. During the summer my dogs and I enjoy bikejoring and in the winter if there is enough snow we go dog sledding. I do offer training services if you have an active pup who needs a "job" to do. “I am an overprotective veterinary professional/Karen here... so I'm shocked that I found someone I'm so confident saying this about, but... Jennifer could NOT be a better, safer, more reliable, more loving, more careful and cautious pet sitter. My best friend and I were in Olympia for a few days recently for an event, and I needed somewhere for my three beautiful black crazies to be for that day. I'd spoken with some other pet sitters, but wasn't impressed, and I was getting more and more stressed out about it. Luckily, at the 13th hour, someone my daughter works with recommended Jennifer. As soon as we walked into her home, I knew I'd found my "person". Her entire house is set up to be a doggie Disneyland. Her yard is ENORMOUS, fully enclosed, and has natural ground. (Which is great, because I always worry about ACL injuries when dogs are running on concrete or slippery grass.) Within the first 10 minutes of being there, my autistic adult dog relieved herself completely, which she hadn't done throughout the prior three days we were traveling. And then... the most amazing thing of all... she started ZOOMING around the yard! I have had her for five years, and had never seen her like that before. She was like a bullet, flying through the air, unstoppable in her joy and speed. Her puppy brothers struggled to keep up with her, but couldn't. It was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen. I felt so, so comfortable leaving my three babies with her. I'd never felt that comfortable with anyone. Beyond that, Jennifer was friendly and incredibly flexible. It's clear she really loves dogs. I told her that if I ever make the 1,000-plus mile trip again, it would be so that my dogs could visit her, and NOT so that I could see my daughter. Joking...? I think not. Thank you, Jennifer! About: I want to care for and spoil your dogs just as you would if you could be home. I have been working with pups going on 8 years. I began by walking dogs at a local humane society, then on to becoming a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. I absolutely love dog sitting and I have the skills to administer medications. Currently I facilitate small enriched dog play groups during the day and in the evening I provide private dog training. I am just as comfortable working with giant breeds as I am with the tiniest. While sitting for your pup I can take them for walks, go to a dog park, and go for hikes. I will send you pictures of your pup daily and keep you updated. I also don’t mind you checking in as often as you need to feel comfortable. I know it’s hard to be away from your your four legged friends. I hope to become one of your dogs best friends! About: I've taken care of pets all of my life. We were a home that always had a cat and I was always begging my mom for a dog. I trained my first puppies at 13 and fell in love with puppy care. I've had my dog Tucker for 4 years, got him from the shelter at 5 months old and he's just the best dog. He's a big boy at 100lbs so I'm well equipped to deal with large dogs. I've worked with him through leash reactivity and pulling on walks, he isn't perfect but those traits don't intimidate me, I'll find a way to give your pup the best walking experience I can. I have experience dealing with nervous dogs as my own dog is very selective when it comes to strangers. I'm comfortable administering medications having dealt with a wide variety of pet illnesses/care with my own pets. I'm currently a housewife so I have lots of time to care for your dog or cat. I have no availability on Mondays because I have no vehicle on Mondays. I do not offer care in my home but I am happy to come over and care for your pet while you are away or busy working from home. About: I am new to Rover, but have worked in the Animal Health Industry as a Veterinarian Technician (animal nurse) and outside sales/customer service for the past 30+ years. Along with the background check Rover provides, I also have a Business License and I am Insured/Bonded. Animal care is my only business/job. I have experience with most animals from reptiles to cattle and currently have a little 5 acre hobby farm with a horse, goats, chickens, dog and cat. I have also done fostering in my local community. I am very flexible with days you need pet care. My days are filled with animal care of my own/yours, walking/hiking, gardening and home/property projects. Your pets will be treated with great care while spending time with me. I have a gated 5 acre hobby farm with 1/2 acre fully fenced area around my home. My farm animals are fenced in separately for safety. I also have 3 acres of wooded trails for leash walking. I am able to provide care and exercise depending on your pets needs and will only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards people or other dogs for a positive/fun experience. I have two spare bedrooms, two large porches for either sunning or shade and air conditioning. I am currently only taking up to 3 dogs at one time. Please be up to date on vaccinations (including kennel cough), worming and monthly flea/tick control. I live in a quiet/peaceful valley. Please no excessive barkers and bring their food, treats and special toys. Please allow enough time for a 1st time meet and greet prior to finalizing the booking.
