Because of his recent health issues, he has a number of restrictions and special considerations to help prevent another IVDD flare, and Kevin and Kandice were so attentive and conscientious about following all of his care instructions. We’ve cared for the smallest of dog breeds (Havanese and Boston Terrier) to the largest of breeds (Labs/retrievers, German shepherds, Belgian malinois, pit bulls, etc) so we’re comfortable with all dogs! About: I’ve taken care of multiple kinds of dogs and cats for family and friends ever since I was a little kid, and owned both kitties and doggies of different breeds most of my life. I’ve read a few training books for doggies, stayed multiple nights for pet sitting, volunteered at pet shops, worked at pet stores, handled kittens and puppies with care, worked with senior cats and dogs, as well as other barn animals as well! I am currently working a part time job in silverdale, usually around 10-15 hours a week. I always receive my schedule at least a week in advance, so I just need time to plan around that. I’m experienced with a wide range of personalities—from high-energy pups who need lots of playtime to senior dogs who prefer a calm, cozy environment. I treat every dog as if they were my own, paying close attention to routines, feeding schedules, medications, and individual quirks. Your dog will enjoy plenty of love, supervised play, and a safe, comfortable home where they’re never just “watched,” but genuinely cared for. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, and a calm, structured environment. I’m available for both short-notice needs and bookings well in advance as you plan your travels. My goal is to be your go-to sitter whenever you need reliable, loving care. I have a large fully fenced yard and two friendly, well-socialized golden retrievers who enjoy playing in the backyard by a game of chase and/or fetch. I closely monitor playtime and all interactions, follow each dog’s routine, and can crate, separate, or provide quiet space if needed in order to keep all dogs in my care stress/free, comfortable and happy. Safety, comfort, and trust are always my top priorities. This isn’t just a place where you drop your dog for the day or for a trip. It’s a calm, loving environment where dogs feel safe and loved while you’re away. I choose thoughtful exercise and enrichment to keep them happy and give them plenty of opportunities to burn energy and excitement.
