My cat is extremely social and I was concerned he’d be lonely while I was away for several weeks. Anna spent lots of time giving him attention and play. About: I have been pet sitting since I was younger, i am patient and familiar with stubborn pets and the lovable bulldozers. Just waiting for the right time to take car of my own. I am a reservist so one weekend a month I will be occipied. My work schedule is fairly flexible but please contact me so we can discuss scheduling expectations. About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been part of my everyday world. From a young age, my life has revolved around animals and helping them become the best versions of themselves. Some of my earliest experiences were with cats, including a feral rescue named Misty I bonded with closely as a child. I tend to connect well with animals that are more troubled, reactive, or unsure, and I’m often able to bring out their calmer, more trusting side. Later on in my life, my experience expanded significantly through raising and caring for Golden Retrievers. Growing up around breeding and long-term dog care taught me responsibility, consistency, and how much attention animals need at different stages of life. I’ve been involved in raising dogs from newborns to adulthood, and many of the dogs I’ve helped raise have gone on to become unforgettable adventure companions for their families. Over the past fifteen years, I’ve gained extensive experience working with animals through long-term, hands-on care. My background as a Golden Retriever breeder has given me perspective on how different animals can be, even within the same breed. Every animal has unique preferences, behaviors, and ways of communicating, and learning to recognize those differences has been a major part of my experience. I’m comfortable managing multiple animals at once and handling a range of needs without becoming overwhelmed. I’m most accustomed to larger dogs, but my experience raising puppies has given me the delicacy and awareness needed to care for smaller animals as well. I’m especially familiar with puppies under six months old, including their unpredictable behavior and the extra attention they require. I’ve also worked with dogs that can be semi-reactive in certain situations. While I’m not willing to take on dogs that are broadly aggressive, I retain the right to assess the dog before accepting. I’m most comfortable with working with dogs that are borderline reactive but not reactive-aggressive. I can recognize signs of stress or reactivity, and can manage dogs that are generally well-functioning but may need thoughtful handling in specific situations. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-ins and walks throughout the day, generally between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, unless I’m staying at a client’s home for house sitting. Animal care already shapes my daily routine, and I’m used to structuring my day around feeding schedules, exercise, outdoor exposure, and rest. I’m comfortable juggling different routines and planning time and resources around an animal’s specific needs. I’m very conscientious about safety and environmental risks. I pay close attention to doors, gates, toxic plants, household hazards, interactions with unfamiliar animals, and changes in an animal’s behavior. About: I’ve taken care of multiple kinds of dogs and cats for family and friends ever since I was a little kid, and owned both kitties and doggies of different breeds most of my life. I’ve read a few training books for doggies, stayed multiple nights for pet sitting, volunteered at pet shops, worked at pet stores, handled kittens and puppies with care, worked with senior cats and dogs, as well as other barn animals as well! I am currently working a part time job in silverdale, usually around 10-15 hours a week. I always receive my schedule at least a week in advance, so I just need time to plan around that. About: I have worked in veterinary medicine for 10 years (6 years with Companion Animal Wellness Center and 2 years with Tender Touch Animal Hospital, and two years with animal emergency and speciality center) and I also worked in animal rescue for two years at Pasado's Safe Haven. I love dogs of all kinds and enjoy learning about what they enjoy and how I can help them live happy and healthy lives! I've helped two clinics implement cat friendly practice standards and have a solid understanding of cat behavior. I am comfortable giving medications and know when medical care is needed. I am also a pet owner myself and understand how important it is that you be able to trust your pet caregiver to treat them like family! I teach special education now and so am pretty busy during the school year. If my 12 year old son can come, he’s great with animals too, and I can be more flexible then. Feel free to ask me if something will work! Over the summer I am very available, only needing to be home for about 4-6 hours a day to take care of my own dog. If your dogs are pet social and you don’t have cats ( too fun to chase!), I can stay all day. During the school year, I am gone from 7am until 5 or 6pm, so realistically can only do weekends or solely overnight care. I know the level of trust it takes to leave your fur children with someone new. I will follow your directions and try to keep things as steady for them as possible. My son and I love animals of all shapes and sizes and we love playing with and spending time with them.

“Cathleen was so sweet and my dogs loved her yard and all the outside time. She sent pictures and was great at getting back to me quickly whenever I messaged her. She keeps the big and little dogs separated, which is nice for my shy dog. I would definitely use her again!”
“Matt did a great job taking care of Scout. He gave photo updates throughout Scout’s stay. Super easy drop off and pick up. Matt is also super thorough. During drop off, he took careful notes of additional dog sitting instructions. During pick up, he went through a checklist to make sure no belongings was left behind.”
“Amanda watched our working line GSD for over a week while we were in Hawaii and she has watched him in the past for doggy daycare. She is the real deal and it made all the difference knowing he was safe and well cared for while we were gone. You can tell she has a ton of experience with dogs and other animals. She loves them yes but also understands how to keep them safe and set reasonable boundaries. Her property is ideal for dogs too with a big fenced yard and kennels. 10/10 recommend!”
“We were so happy that Atlas had a great time! Cara kept us updated with pictures and videos. She asked questions if she felt she needed to and Atlas had so much fun he's just slept since he got home (for an Irish Setter, this is a big deal! They're always going! ). We will 100% be working with Cara again, and Atlas cannot wait to go play with both of the Junipers again.”

We reached out to her super last minute after waking up sick and needing some help with our 15-week old puppy and she agreed to take her in the same morning. They have a beautiful property and their own friendly dogs that Mabel had a great time playing with- she’s never been more exhausted! Kristina was super communicative and kept us updated with plenty of pics and videos. They also sent us home with a sample of their awesome healthy homemade dog treats that were a hit with both our dogs! They’ve definitely got a repeat customer out of us and we can’t wait to drop Mabel off with them again soon!”
