“My wife, Dongmei, and I recently boarded our Golden Retriever, Sagan, with Janessa for an overnight stay. Sagan just turned one year old, and this was the first time we had ever left him with someone other than family, so we were naturally a little nervous. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. Janessa took great care of Sagan and made him feel right at home. It was clear he had a fantastic time playing with Janessa's dogs and the other dogs she was boarding. When we picked him up the next morning, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly comfortable in her care. The biggest sign of how much fun he had came afterward. As soon as he got in the car, he completely crashed from all the excitement and activity. Once we got home, he slept for several hours and seemed incredibly content. Any Golden Retriever owner knows that's usually the sign of a very good day. Janessa was friendly, professional, and gave us confidence that Sagan was in great hands. In fact, we felt so good about the experience that we've already booked her to care for Sagan for two weeks while we travel to China later this summer. We're grateful to have found Janessa and her family and look forward to having Sagan stay with them again. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and dog-loving sitter.”

She is prone to gunk around the eyes and they even took care to inform me of it and help remove some of it so she would feel more comfortable. Also our dog never took to crate training, and the family has a great set up with room to roam and separate space for the dogs, if needed. Ideal for dogs like ours who don’t like to be crated/kenneled. Would love to have Wendy and family care for our dog again!”

I currently own two friendly dogs, 13 year old GSP Quinn and 5 year old English Setter-Pointer Sherman, who would love to share their fenced half acre yard. We only watch one dog at a time so that we can provide each fur baby with their own special love and care. I think we fall in love with almost all of them! I absolutely love dogs! Sadly in October of 2024 my dog of 15 years passed away. We are ready and available to love and support your pup while you are away. It can be stressful having you fur baby go to a new place; rest assured they are in loving and capable hands. We generally only take 2 pets at a time so there is plenty of time and energy to ensure your pet gets all the love, care, exercise and attention they need! We have had 2 boxers previously, one of which I have cared for through his late senior years, so I know what extra special care senior animals may need. I am comfortable diaper-changing, walking a their pace and administering medications. I have experience house-sitting and pet-sitting for various pets throughout my life — mostly cats and dogs. Next step is bring 2 pups out at a time to play together but mostly its just alot of Sniffing lol Creating a calm, safe, and loving environment is very important to me, and I take the time to ensure every dog feels secure and welcomed. Your pup will be treated like part of Our Family while they’re here 🐶❤️ Home & Care Details 🐾 I have a nice, fully fenced yard where your pup can safely play, explore, and burn off energy. My three fur babies are always around to help keep your dog active, social, and engaged throughout the day. Daily activity is a priority here—we’ll enjoy plenty of playtime in the yard along with one or two walks, depending on your dog’s needs and energy level. I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. I would be so upset if my pet wasn’t treated right and/or lost or let out, so I will do my best to make sure that they are well loved and watched. I do provide boarding service given early notice. I live at Issaquah Highlands, a very friendly and safe neighborhood. I can walk your dog 2-3 times daily during the weekend as needed. About: I'm 36 years old, I love animals and recently got out of the Navy. My family has four dogs back home, kimchi (pitbull lab mix), Indy (German shepherd mix) Louis and Rene (daschunds), and three cats that we rescued (Jiji, Cleo and Smokey). In high school I worked as a kennel worker at a veterinary hospital for 2 years and love working with animals. I’ve spent some time volunteering at local animal shelters at different places I was stationed with the military. I really enjoy taking dogs on walks and hikes and would love to take care of your pets while you’re away. I’m available for house-sitting, drop in visits and dog walks. I work nights from 8 pm-6:30 am, I’m off 7 days/6 nights in a row every other week, feel free to reach out and I’ll let you know if I work any of the dates you’re interested in. During a week where I work, I would be able to come back to your pet in the morning and feed them breakfast/either go for a walk or hang out a bit. Afterwards I would sleep from roughly 8:30 am-12:30pm. When I wake up at 12:30 I can offer your pet a midday walk/potty break/or just some one on one time. Around 3 pm, I may take a 2-3hr nap, but otherwise I will be free from 12:30 pm until I need to leave for 8 pm shift. If you have questions/concerns with this schedule I’m more than happy to answer them. When I am off I switch back to a normal daytime schedule will be able to spend the day/night with your pet. When watching your pet, I’m there for your pet. If they want to hang out and do nothing, we’ll do that. If they want to go for walks, hikes or adventures, we’ll do that. I can accommodate myself to fit your pet’s needs.

“My wife, Dongmei, and I recently boarded our Golden Retriever, Sagan, with Janessa for an overnight stay. Sagan just turned one year old, and this was the first time we had ever left him with someone other than family, so we were naturally a little nervous. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. Janessa took great care of Sagan and made him feel right at home. It was clear he had a fantastic time playing with Janessa's dogs and the other dogs she was boarding. When we picked him up the next morning, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly comfortable in her care. The biggest sign of how much fun he had came afterward. As soon as he got in the car, he completely crashed from all the excitement and activity. Once we got home, he slept for several hours and seemed incredibly content. Any Golden Retriever owner knows that's usually the sign of a very good day. Janessa was friendly, professional, and gave us confidence that Sagan was in great hands. In fact, we felt so good about the experience that we've already booked her to care for Sagan for two weeks while we travel to China later this summer. We're grateful to have found Janessa and her family and look forward to having Sagan stay with them again. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and dog-loving sitter.”
