“Dani was great. It is never easy leaving your dog somewhere new, and Dani made us feel very comfortable with doing that. We will definitely use her in the future. Thanks for taking care of Bailey!!”

“Luna had a great time with Jennifer’s family and their other pets. They are quick to communicate and flexible with accommodations. We quickly rebooked after her first stay and would highly recommend!”

“Jena & her family were absolutely amazing! They cared for my quirky 6 year old labradoodle for a week while I was on vacation & I can’t imagine a better experience. Bailey was treated as a member of the family & was clearly happy as a clam! Will definitely use Jena again!”

“Kristin was great to work with and she was very reliable and happy to have our dog in her home. She was very responsive and worked with us on any special needs for our dog. Kristin sent us pictures during the visit and kept us updated and was great about flexible drop off and pick up. We will definitely be using her again soon!”

“Benny had a blast running around their fully fenced large backyard. Thank you both for spoiling our boy while we were away. I know he looks forward to his next doggie stay!”

“Ethan is the best! He watched our golden for over a week and sent us pictures and videos every day. Porter had the best time and we are so thankful to have a good, reliable person to leave him with!”

“I adore Vicki and her hubby. They both show a lot of love for canine critters and take such good care of them. They have a great backyard for the dogs to explore, and I never worry one bit about my dog!”

“Heather was amazing! Such a great caregiver for our young pup who also needed medical attention. Can’t wait to have him stay with her again. Highly recommend her!! 😊”

“Anita was so wonderful for our dog, Bentley. Bentley is paralyzed and in diapers, so very special needs. She sent pictures and messages every day, and I was so pleased to see Bentley in perfect condition when getting back home. I say this because with a handicap dog, sores and rashes are very common, but he had none. It's like I had been taking care of him the entire time. Bentley will absolutely stay with Anita again!”
“Molly was wonderful. She sent daily photos and updates, which gave us great peace of mind and reassured us that our dogs were safe, happy, and well cared for. She is kind, attentive, and clearly loves animals. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found her and would not hesitate to recommend her to others.”

“Jordan was fantastic. My boy loved her. She was easy to communicate with. He’s not an easy dog and she was patient and loving with him. Highly recommend.”

“Second visit and there will definitely be more. I knew my pup was happy when he was so excited to be back and left a little present from his excitement! Loved the daily photos and communication. Made a work trip so much less stressful.”

“I'm new to boarding my dogs so I was a bit apprehensive. She takes good care of my dogs and keeps them happy when I'm not around. That's all I can ask for. The fact she is walking distance is a bonus.”

“Kelly is amazing! She is so sweet and welcoming. She took such great care of my little guy. She made sure to give daily updates with pictures on how he was adjusting to her home. I would 100% recommend Kelly to anyone looking for dog sitting services.”

“Really appreciate how attentive and caring Miranda was after our dog had a medical emergency. She communicated with us often and provided lots of photos and videos! It put our minds at ease knowing he was being so well taken care of.”

“From the moment we booked with Noelle we felt confident that our boy would be in very good care. Noelle exceeded all our expections, she is beyond amazing!!! We would get daily updates and photos. Jack got daily walks and play time with her sweet dogs. We will definitely be using Noelle's services in the future!”

“Kaitlin and her husband Nathan took excellent care of my little dog Molly. This is the first time I left her alone with someone else, for over a couple weeks. They helped Molly transition from having a minor separation anxiety, to become fully comfortable by the end of the stay. They cared for her like their own dog. Kaitlin sent photo updates every few days. I recommend Kaitlin, and would book with her again!”

“Kristen was great!! She was super comfortable giving our cats medicine, and so aware of all the things that involve taking care of our kitties - dividing up wet food, filling up the automatic feeder, emptying the litter box then taking out the trash. Simply amazing! Thank you Kristen!”

“Another wonderful experience with Erica! She goes above and beyond every time by bringing in packages, checking the litter box, and doing so well with giving our cats medicine! Thank you again for your care Erica!”

“Christy is the best kitty sitter ever! One of my kitties has never come out for sitters during her 9 year life and Christy is so loving and kind, she appeared for a visit and a snack! Thank you Christy! You are the best! 🩷😻😻”

About: I’m a retired professional who enjoys staying active while providing dependable, compassionate care for pets. I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for when you’re away, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, overnight stays, administering routine medications, or simply providing companionship, I tailor my care to each pet’s and owner’s unique needs and routine. I also believe communication is essential, so you can expect regular updates, photos, and prompt responses throughout your pet’s stay. Pet sitting isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely enjoy. Building trust with both pets and their owners is the most rewarding part of the experience. If you’re looking for a mature, reliable sitter who will provide exceptional care and give you peace of mind, I’d be honored to care for your furry family members. My schedule is flexible; especially with advance notice. Whether it’s walks and potty breaks or overnight sitting I can usually accommodate any schedule, including the holidays. Although typically we will not board at our home, on occasion we’ll make exceptions depending on the breed and temperament. We have two Shih Tzu’s that are extremely playful and nice with other pets. In your home, I will take care of your pets as you would.

“Kayla is amazing!!! It was my first time using Rover and Kayla was extremely well communicative during booking and before the visit. My cat is super shy but Hazel eventually warmed up to her and Kayla sent great pics everyday. Even when there was severe weather she communicated with me and made sure Hazel was well taken care of. You can tell she loves cats and they love her back. I’ll definitely be booking her again!”

About: While I’m new to professional pet sitting, I’ve been a dedicated pet parent for years. Caring for my own pets has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and unconditional love. I understand how much your furry family members mean to you, and I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, walks, or just keeping them company, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away I maintain a consistently open schedule and am always available to provide support, collaborate, or communicate as needed. Reliability and responsiveness are always my priorities. I do have 2 children, a 11 year old and a 7 year old. If requesting house sitting they will need to stay with me. In clients’ homes, I provide personalized, attentive care for animals, ensuring they feel safe and loved in their familiar environment. My routines include feeding according to dietary needs, administering medications if required, refreshing water bowls regularly, and maintaining a clean living space. I also offer enrichment through playtime, walks, and gentle companionship tailored to each pet’s temperament. I monitor behavior and health closely, communicating any concerns to the owner promptly. My goal is to create a stress-free experience for both pets and their people.

About: I moved from Mi to Wa in 2015 and decided in 2018 to be a dog walker. That was in King county and after moving to a house in 2021, dog boarding turned into my new side job. Last year I also enrolled in Victoria Stilwell’s Academy for positive training. So I am very aware of dog’s body language and needs. I absolutely love dogs and they are truly my life now but when I was 8 that wasn’t the case. I was bit in the face by a family friend’s dog. He was old and on medication, I startled him awake which led to him biting me. From this incident, I watched Victoria Stilwell on animal planet to get over my fear of bigger dogs and here I am today with a certification in dog training and starting my career with human’s best friend. My goal is for you and your dog to be as comfortable as possible. I only treat dogs/pets as I would want someone to treat mine (and believe me I am a high maintenance pet mom 😉) Dogs are my job. Whether it is boarding, sitting, or walking; this is what I do full time. Sometimes I do Instacart to get out a bit but will do that when my boyfriend is home. I am starting up my bath bomb business again so to have a companion working alongside with me is my ideal work day. My boyfriend works from home majority of the time, so there is always someone home. His kids do come over 50% of the week and are very kind and helpful with dogs that are boarding with me. They are 12 and 11 so they aren’t little kids. I have lick mats, Kong Gyro, and plenty of space for your dog to have fun at my house. My house is fenced in, we are updating the property all the time to make sure it is safe as possible. For larger dogs, I have a bell on a ziptie to put on your dog’s collar just so I can hear where they are at all times when I am outside with them. For smaller pups, I always go outside with them due to being in an open area so they are safe. I also have a 30’ leash that I can hook them to for extra safety. Inside, I make them as comfortable as possible. Whatever they like at home I try my best to provide at my house.

“Meredith and Elliott were wonderful! I booked last minute for a holiday weekend due to a cancellation from another sitter and they were so accommodating in arranging a time to meeting our kitties and get instructions and keys beforehand. Meredith is very communicative and sends lots of pics, which we love. She also gave plenty of attention and love to our shy cat that hides under the bed. Very happy with the care our kitties received!”

“Sierra was very responsive to my messages and worked with me when things happened unexpectedly. Can't thank her enough for watching my cats when I had to go out of town at the last minute.”

“Megan was awesome! She was reliable, caring, and kept us updated throughout. We felt completely comfortable knowing our cat was in great hands. Would absolutely recommend Megan!”

“Megan rocks ! She was super cool when she came over to check out the house and the animals. She sent me photos and updates, I will absolutely use her again!!! ✨”

“Sarah is an absolute gem & 100% our go-to! Fantastic actions shots & extremely thoughtful descriptions that helped us feel connected to everyone at home & confident in each babies' adjustment to us being away. Her calm demeanor is perfect for our wild bunch, even our *not the most secure* pup who can have a hard time making friends & meeting new ppl. On top of it all, she is an absolute delight to work with! 10/10”
About: I've had dogs for 15 years and grew up with cats. I have taken care of family and friends pets including chickens, cats and dogs. We have dog sat in our home as well as done drop ins. I am available for drop in visits that include potty breaks and feeding. I am comfortable giving medications if needed. I currently work remote with the ability to work my own hours. This gives me the flexibility to care for your fur babies as needed. Having two bloodhounds I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and reliable to watch your fur babies. I like to provide updates with pictures and progress reports. I also prefer to have a meet and greet prior to make sure it's a good fit all around.

“Excellent communication throughout the day. My sweet dog was very happy and very tired when I picked him up. The care that Lelia gives is like one would give their own pet. We will definitely be visiting again!”

“Jennifer was awesome! She accommodated a last minute request to watch our dog for a few hours in the evening and it helped us out so much. She was kind and let our dog play with hers in her large yard. She also took great photos and was communicative and prompt. Highly recommend her!”

“Awesome sitter. Morpheus had a blast and was calm coming home which is such a great thing because he has nonstop energy. Matt sent me a video of him having fun shortly after I left him and quickly responded to any texts I sent while Morpheus was in his care. We will be going back!”

“We have booked Kelly multiple times, and our once-anxious shih tzus were practically dragging my husband across the lawn to greet her this time. They adore “Auntie Kelly” and they were a little sad to leave Khloe behind at the end of the day. I love the regular updates and photos she sends throughout the day, and she truly cares for my dogs as if they were her own. I (still!) highly recommend her!”
“Rose was so sweet and my dogs were calm and tuckered out when we picked them up. Ivy has anxiety so to see her go to Rose calmly was wonderful. Rose also sent us pics throughout the day to show how our girls were doing. We truly appreciate her.”

“I can’t say good enough things about Shannon! She was just amazing with domino! It can be tough to find someone you trust with your dog and we definitely felt we could trust her. She sent pictures and communicated so well with us!”

“Molly is amazing! First time we have ever used Rover and the moment we met Molly we knew she was thorough with her care and truly loved the dogs like her own. We got photos and updates throughout Maples stay. She was so relaxed and treated like a princess. We already have overnights booked with Molly! Highly recommend!”

“Christine is amazing! From my very first contact with her all the way through the days she watched my “boys”. We traveled over 1,800 miles via RV & did not want to place our boys in traditional doggy daycare. They are used to quiet & I felt they would need a little extra attention. Christine did not disappoint! The boys loved her & on the 2nd day they were pulling us to her front door. We received regular text & photo updates during their days with her. I will definitely use her again when we are back to visit family & I highly recommend Christine. You & your pup can’t go wrong.”

“Ethan is amazing and his daycare/boarding area is clean and cozy. He has been so patient and sweet with our shy dog and helped her come out of her shell. We will definitely be brining her back regularly. High recommend!!”

“Sarah was fabulous! She provided daycare bright and early in the morning until my husband and I were able to come home from work. Total lifesaver to help provide the best care for our 4 month old puppy, Newt. He loved it there and enjoyed playing around with her two dogs who are total sweethearts. She sent photos of him on his walks and cuddling on the couch. I am so impressed! Thanks, Sarah!”

“Kana was so great with Koda. I was anxious about leaving him because he has a big man complex and I was worried about how he would get along with the other dogs but Kana reassured me he’d be fine and gave me updates when I left.”

“Kate did an awesome job watching my 2 dogs. I received updates and pictures throughout the day that let me know I didnt have to worry about how my dogs were doing.”

“Morgane was great! An excellent communicator before and during Marco’s stay. It’s clear our dog Marco felt super comfortable while at Morgane’s and he’s already looking forward to coming back. Thanks!!”

About: Daycare is required before boarding. Please message me for more details, thank you! Dog Daycare is Mon-Fri, 7:30-3:30. I send photo pupdates and shuttle dogs home between 3:30-4:30pm. 🚙 I can comfortably board dogs up to 2 weeks and make sure they still have a loved and happy time. 🧡 I’ve been working with cats & dogs since 2004 and would love to fill your best friend’s day with their favorite fun activities! :-) I start my dog walks and drop in cat care visits as early as sunrise. And, I say goodnight to my last customers by evening. From the moment I step through your door, I am happy to follow special feeding instructions, play their favorite games or take a neighborhood walk.
About: I have own, fosters and cared for multiple cats and dogs for over 20 years. I work from home so I am always available for pets needs. I have own, fosters and cared for multiple cats and dogs for over 20 years. I work from home so I am always available for pets needs. I dont have any pets currently, so your pet would safe and protected from harm of any other animals around them. I live in a two bedroom apartment that is in a quiet area.
About: My 18 year old Cairn Terrier has just left for doggie heaven. My home is lonely without him. He was my fourth dog, so I have a lot of experience caring for a furry friend. My rate is low because having to find care for my dog was a major issue when I traveled. It is worth mentioning that I will watch only ONE dog at a time. It must also be a SMALL dog based on the Rover size chart. I am retired, but love to travel. I think it would be unfair to adopt another dog while I am still intending to spend time away from home. It has been a long time since I have been without a dog in my life. I thought taking care of yours would be a good way to have a furry companion when I am home. This is another reason for my low rate. I have a big fenced yard and a lot of left over stuff from my dog to provide a warm welcoming environment for my client's pet.
About: Hi there, my name is Noelle! I’ve been working with animals my whole life, by helping my mother with her pet sitting business, to taking care of my own creature babies. I have experience with small/medium dogs, cats, and exotics such as reptiles and birds. I’m not squeamish around bugs either if you happen to have creepy crawly friends! I took care of my beloved family dog, Daffy for 14 years until her passing. I have experience with elderly dogs such as giving them medicine, frequent potty breaks, etc. I have a Russian Tortoise named Gaia, I’ve had him for about 6 years now! I also have a Siamese mix named Millie, so I’ve had my fair share of live in pet experience. I currently work from home on my computer and can take breaks whenever needed to give your pet attention. My job doesn’t have a schedule, so I can be there pretty much whenever you need me! I excel at following written/verbal instruction, just tell me what your babies need, and I will follow to the letter. More information is always welcome!

About: I’ve owned and been around animals since I was a child! I’ve owned elderly dogs and puppies! I can handle rambunctious or a couch potato! I have experience in administering oral medication. I also have experience volunteering with the Tacoma Humane Society to get to know dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I would love to be apart of your furry friend’s life! I have 3 cats of my own and I care for them daily! I currently work nights as a CNA but am very flexible through out the day to fit you and your pets needs! I live in a apartment at the moment and have 3 cats so I wouldn’t have room to bring an animal to my home but in a clients home I respect their personal space and treat them and their animals with respect. I will be communicative and send lots of photos. I understand how nerve racking it can be to leave your pets at home and I will do my very best to ease your nerves while you’re away.
“Cambria was accommodating and came to our house for a meet and greet with Spanky, prior to our scheduled walks. She is quick to respond, communicates well. She did a great job with our shy boy. We will book her again for future walks.”

“If I could use one word to describe Layla it would be “AWESOME!” She is the perfect dog walker; she’s conscientious dependable and caring. Frankie absolutely adore her and follows her to the door after every walk when she’s leaving. She is exceptional and I recommend her without reservation.”

About: I grew up caring for small dogs, large dogs, chickens, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs… we lived on 4 acres, surrounded by other family members in the neighborhood, and I love all of the animals! I'll take 'em cute, crotchety, pudgy, feathered, or furred. :) I have regularly cared for pets of family, friends and business connections, in their home, or mine. Currently, I have no pets (my 2 elderly cats crossed the rainbow bridge, within the last year, due to age-related illnesses), so I would adore spending time with yours! I've seen my own pets through old age, and the related medical needs that come with that, so administering medications (oral, subdermal, dermal) doesn't phase me. Note that extensive medication schedules may result in added costs. I work hybrid, primarily, so there's ample flexibility in my schedule to match up with your needs. Since 2023, I work 4-6 hours/day, with a local company (I get to choose my shifts). All these little pieces can be moved around, to make a schedule that fits your pet's care needs. :) Primary Service Areas: Gig Harbor, Fox Island, West Tacoma, North Tacoma/Stadium District, Ruston, Central Tacoma, Fircrest, Steilacoom, North University Place Secondary Service Areas: Golden Given Rd, Waller Rd, Parkland (near PLU only), Olalla, Port Orchard -Out-of-area costs will apply for secondary areas. -Be aware that there are certain neighborhoods that will be excluded, in Tacoma, as a personal safety choice. Note: For house sitting & drop-ins, Gig Harbor/KP bookings will result in an added $6 per night/trip, to help soften costs for fuel and toll. Your Place: I'm tidy and conscientious. It's my pleasure to adapt my schedule to your pet's needs. I'm happy to care for multiple pets, in your home (or yard... need help with goats or chickens? Yay! I'm your gal.). Please expect a potty schedule of every 4-6 hours. I'm tidy, bring most of my own groceries (I appreciate it if you provide coffee, tea, cream, sugar, salt, pepper and cooking oil), and love to bring healthy treats, and toys, for your pets. My Place: I live alone, in a 1 bedroom place, that I own. I have a few construction projects going, so it's not currently available for boarding, but I hope to have that service in the future. At my place, there's ample room for a small dog, cat, bunny or bird. A dog will be walked 3-5 times/day, depending on their needs. There are dog and cat treats, dog toys, cat toys, and a scratching post, here.
“Lelia is dependable and a great communicator. I had a hiccup with logistics and timing however she was flexible and accommodating and spent extra time with Spanky. Spanky is a shy boy and will not usually walk out of the house with a stranger, unless he is on leash. He liked Lelia enough to for a walk without being coaxed outside on his leash! I will definitely book Lelia again!”

“You couldn't find a better person to entrust your four-legged! She is kind-hearted, a natural animal person, and our blind dog, Bailey, adapted to her immediately. She's so considerate and had a relaxed affinity for our doggo, and I will return to her again and again! Thanks Erin!!!!”

“This was my first time using Rover, Holly was very communicative regarding anything unusual while walking my dog. Stuck to our agreed upon schedule and I came home to a happy well cared for pup!”

“Sarah was fantastic with our pup!! Looking forward to having her help with walking our boy in the future! We’re happy to recommend her for any and all dog walking needs!”
“So glad Anne could help out with my dogs! They have a hard time being alone for too long, and having her walk them and spend time with them was wonderful. Definitely recommend her!”

“Kaylee is amazing with our pup! I can tell she treats and cares for him like he’s her own. I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to take care of their doggos:)”

“Erica has been walking our pups for almost a year. She has always been available, always been punctual, and has always been a great communicator. Our dogs love her and are always excited to see her. Even our one dog who was abused and doesn't like most people took to her right away. Rest assured when you choose Erica your pets are in great hands. Thank-you for always taking such good care of our pups!”

“Saved our bacon at the last minute with a walk, and very clearly knows exactly what she’s doing. Ever meet someone and you think “phew, they are an expert at this”? Yeah that’s her”

“Rachel was great with my pup's walk! Also was super about communicating with me when we had to troubleshoot my front door lock. Happy to rebook and recommend to anyone!”

“Megan was fantastic with my senior pup, Macklin! She was prompt, attentive, and took very good care of him on their walk. I will definitely be rebooking with her again!”

“Rachel is wonderful! We highly recommend her. For the past few years, she has walked our dog, Daisy, for us during the work week. She is reliable, communicative, trustworthy, and Daisy loves her! I also love getting the photos at work of all of Daisy’s belly rubs and adventures. Thank you, Rachel!”

“Mariana was great with watching my dog Wally! I had a last minute trip and Mariana was happy to take him in. She sent me pictures and gave me updates throughout my whole trip. She’s great with dogs and I loved how she kept me updated on all of my dogs activities! I would book Mariana again for whenever I need a sitter for my pup.”

“Liz was WONDERFUL! Our boy Maxx is 12 and a real dog of comfort. Liz sent us daily photos and comments, and Maxx looked like he fit right in in her home with the other dogs. Daily trips to the off-leash dog park were a big hit. Her home had that “dog home” feel to it, and we were quite comfortable leaving our boy there for three days.”

“Kayla and Jacob took amazing care of our energetic lab. The property was great for our dog to play and explore. Their family treated our dog as one of their own, making us feel at ease while we were away for an extended time. Would definitely use again!”

“Michelle and Sam are WONDERFUL!! Our dog Cookie is always SO excited to see them and to be with their dogs as well. Loving, wonderful, kind, AMAZING! Thank you both.”

“We had a great experience with Luisa watching our poodle just shy of a week. She was fast to respond to my inquiry about watching our dog and scheduling a meet and greet. We received pictures everyday and even a video of our dog while she stayed with Luisa. Talking with Luisa at the meet and greet I could tell she genuinely loves taking care of the animals that come to stay her and her family. It really put our minds at ease while we were away. I will definitely reach out to Luisa for our future travel plans.”

“Dee Anne is such a sweetheart and we're so grateful for how she takes care of Max! He is so excited to spend time with her with all the quality play time and rest and adventures they have. It's a little vacation for him to stay with Dee Anne when we can't take him out of town with us and it's so meaningful to us that she's so genuinely loving, thoughtful, and kind!”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care my dogs received! They can be pretty rambunctious and full of energy, but they were handled with patience, kindness, and confidence. I came home to two happy (and tired) dogs and it was clear they had been treated like family. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional dog sitter. I’ll absolutely be booking with them again!”
