I spoke with several people who lacked communication and seemed a bit unreliable, ironically they had good ratings. On my last attempt I found Janessa and really happy I did. Our dogs are like our children so it was very important to us that we found someone who genuinely enjoy having our dog with them. We did a meet and greet before the actual boarding, which was really nice to see the space in which the dogs would use (fully fenced huge yard). She provided frequent updates of Nyx with photos, really helped put my mind to ease while we were traveling for 9 days. I will definitely be reaching out to Janessa again for our next trip!”

About: Hi there my name is Kelsey and I have centered my life around the health and well being of our furry friends. I spent 6 years working in pet insurance and have gained a lot of knowledge about how to create healthy and safe environments for our animals. The key is giving them time to warm up to a new environment, routine care and lots of affection. My own dog turns 15 this year and people still ask me if she is a puppy because of how active and happy she is around others. I always treat every animal as if they are my own and would be honored to do so for your pet too. I spend the majority of my time at home, hanging out in the backyard and have a pretty flexible schedule. We’d go outside at least 5-10 times a day, always early in the morning and right before bed. I have a fenced yard on over an acre of land and lots of non-harmful plants that my dogs loves to sniff around. When the dogs are outside I will be right there with them enjoying the afternoon.
About: I have had a few house sitting experiences in which I got to take care of cats and really enjoyed them. I have experience working with many aspects of cat life including litter boxes, feeding, playing, and of course cuddling. About: I have been pet sitting since high school for friends and family. Moved to Seattle and thought I should keep doing it. I was on rover for multiple years in west Seattle and then we had a baby and stopped for a while and only watched for friends and family, now we have moved to North Bend and our daughter is older and ready to get back to watching dogs again. About: Hi! We are Belle and David and we have been watching dogs on Rover for a couple of years now. We took a little break while caring for our own puppy and are happy that he is old enough to allow us to get back to our love of caring for your pets. We only watch one dog at a time so that we can provide each pet with their own special love and care. Belle is a teacher and David works from home so there is always one of us home, especially in the summer months. Our dog Mogul loves other dogs but can still be respectful if the other dog needs a break from playing. When house sitting I am very considerate of your pets needs and your home. About: I have walked and have had overnight stays with my neighbors dogs for 6 years now. From big dogs to small dogs and even cats! I prefer no aggressive breeds(pits, shepherds, no huskies etc) I am pretty free during the week now that my daughter has started school. I am a musician also so I am out of town sometimes for shows and gigs, but I do have free time too! If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I do have a big yard and there are great walking trails around my house. There is also a doggy park near by. I have a fenced yard for my dog and I walk him twice a day so he can get his energy out. I would walk your dogs how ever much is needed. Additionally, I would make sure to check in on them multiple times outside of my other jobs to ensure that they are good and can be let out. I am comfortable making sure any necessary medication is given on time and that they are also fed at there normal times. I know how much pets need to play and I would love to play fetch and more with your pets!!

“Esther is amazing! She’s really great with animals and it really seems like she cares. My dog Kylo had an extended stay with Esther and he wasn’t eating his food. She let me know this and was trying to figure out some way to get him to eat his food. She ended up mixing wet food in with his dry food and my dog ate it up! I appreciate her for doing this so much! My dog also doesn’t get along with other dogs very well as he barks at them a lot. Esther told me she could help by doing a slower introduction to see how my dog would handle it. She said he did really well and ended up making a friend! Esther is great with communication and with sending pics of the ole pup, which helped to put my mind at ease. I would definitely book Esther again to take care of my doggy, she’s wonderful.”
