About: In the last decade+ I've taken care of nearly a dozen cats for friends and through word-of-mouth, and I always had cats (and dogs) around growing up. My parents' three rescue cats are still my sweeties. In the past I volunteered at an animal shelter, where my favorite thing to do was hang out with the cats and help socialize them. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. From rowdy Australian shepherds, energetic poodles, to anxious elderly pups! I love them all and would love to take care of yours. I believe that it’s your dogs time not mine, so I’m not taking them for a walk they’re taking me for one. I live in the country in Richmond, and have cats, young kids and animals Rover won't let me name in the description...but they provide eggs. We have dogs in our "extended family" and we are well accustomed to dogs but we do not have one ourselves at this time. If your dog is 100% safe with those people and pets and well-behaved, let's talk! Independently insured. We enjoy hosting dogs, and are home most days of the week for most of the day. About: Hello! I am an animal lover from way back, I grew up with many animals from rabbits to geese to horses- so if you have any of those too that will work for me. I love connecting with dogs of all breeds and walking them throughout the neighborhood, or going for a hike, or taking them to a park. I am available for walks, check-ins, and boarding in my own home, where I have a yard and am close to multiple walking trails. Expectations and boundaries are important, as are use of cues and reward systems. About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life and would like a side job where I can help myself and also help someone else. It's hard to find rewarding jobs that fit with your 9 - 5 and I'm hoping I can find something like that here. I'm really good with all animals, and love children (which is good when you walk dogs kids always try to pet them). I'm loving, kind, reliable and have a flexible schedule. I'm open to whatever is needed and want to build a stable relationship for the dog owners who select me to help them out. I also have a degree in psychology and my family still has pets, I get to help with them as well lucky for me :) I work remote from home so I'm available all the time, which is great for pet care! About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all throughout my childhood and have taken care of a couple dogs full time over the years. I am experienced mostly with dogs but I am familiar with cat care. I work nights in the Burlington area so I can work around most schedules and prefer afternoon work for walking. If you need house visits I can work with you on a good schedule.
