About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

About: Long story short: I have YEARS of experience and a deep love of all animals! I'm great with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities! Happy to walk them all! Must be kid-friendly if sitting happens in my home. Good with cats for in-your-home pet-sitting The Long Version: I've had dogs in my home since I was a kid. I also have experience with cats, as we had cats first when I was younger, and at one point had multiple cats in the home at once, and also had two cats and two dogs at one time. In college I volunteered at a local rescue and walked dogs of all sizes and personalities several days a week. I ended up adopting one of those dogs, and had her from the age of about 4, until her passing a couple years ago at around age 15. She was an absolute love, but she also could be very reactive on walks/ in public. She was extremely particular about which dogs she approved and even when she found one she'd be okay with, she often took quite a careful, long introduction to make it work. We went through behavioral training and made some progress, and I was able to take her on many adventures, even despite her still being a bit reactive. I learned a lot about dog behavior and socialization with her. Over the years we also rehab'd an ACL injury and recovery, and had to make life/ home/ meds modifications as she got older and needed some more senior dog TLC. I am happy to visit/ walk any dogs, behavioral "quirks" and all, as long as I know about their strengths, challenges, and how to support them, in advance. For boarding/ any care within my own home, I am only able to accept dogs that are excellent with young children (I have two dog-loving kids under age 5). I'm a teacher, so my schedule varies based on the time of year! During the school year: I can do weekend walks, or dog sitting, ideally at my home, through the weekend. During the summer months: My schedule is flexible! I'm happy to do quick potty breaks for pups during the day, regular walks, filling in for random days you have to work longer than usual, boarding/ dog sitting (again, ideally at my home since I have two little kids) I've always loved my pets as members of the family! I will give your pet all the love and care that I'd give my own! I am happy to follow any pre-established expectations and appreciate knowing anything that's going to help make my time with your pet as comfortable and fun for them as possible in your absence. I also love capturing adorable pictures of animals lounging, playing, etc. so I will definitely send pics during / after my visit if you want them! We don't currently have any pets in our home. Our dogs were allowed on the couch, bed, anywhere, and I was usually curled right up with them, but I of course plan to follow any rules/ standard expectations that you have established for your pets and/or your home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all throughout my childhood and have taken care of a couple dogs full time over the years. I am experienced mostly with dogs but I am familiar with cat care. I work nights in the Burlington area so I can work around most schedules and prefer afternoon work for walking. If you need house visits I can work with you on a good schedule. I will follow your directions to a T and will transport animals as needed for walks/hikes. I will treat them as my own as I don’t have any pets and miss having animals around.

Back in CO I house sat and watched dogs frequently and loved it , now I work at a Canine daycare and Training facility in Plattsburgh Tuesday-Friday. Brings me joy everyday to help people take care of their fur babies ❤️ I work Tuesday through Thursday throughout the day but have a lengthy lunch break that I can leave and assist others with their pets , Friday I have a half day so Im available all afternoon. Saturday- Monday I’m available for overnight boarding and checkins ( walks , feeding , etc ) . Let me care for your fur baby while you’re away ! I have a large yard with one well behaved girl dog and two cats, I can provide a run line if wanted or just frequent leashed walks if that’s preferred . There are plenty of toys and outdoor shade , as well as a baby pool for cooling off in summer . I have a XXL crate so I can crate your animals if wanted/necessary , and a “Pet room” where they can sleep on the bed or chair as they desire.
About: I grew up with many dogs normally two at a time. I grew up with a great pyrenees and bernese mountain dog. We have a french bulldog now and a pit bull so I am good with any breed!! About: I have always been around dogs and other pets since I was a baby, and have always loved and cherished them. As an adult we have raised and taken care of three cats and dogs. While in the military for 10 years, I was responsible for taking care of many other pets, especially dogs, for other service members while they traveled or deployed. My dog Nigel and I tend to make fast friends with any other dogs we meet! I recently got out of the military, and moved back home to Vermont. We are also about 5 minutes away from a beautiful dog park and miles of nature trails that we try to go to every day.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a toddler. I currently have an almost 1-year old big goofy catahoula leopard/pitbull mix. I routinely dog sit for extended family and I have fostered for a local dog rescue. One of my favorite activities is taking a dog for a nice neighborhood walk or an active hike. If your dog comes here for a stay, they are treated as a member of the family. They’re welcome to lounge on the couch and we even love to bring them on outings with us if your dog would enjoy it. I’m a full time mom so I have a fairly flexible schedule for adding in dog walks. If your dog is ok with kiddos joining, I can be even more accommodating. About: Been taking care of animals since I was 8, grew up with a cat and then got 2 dogs and 2 cats. Adopted a puppy 2 years ago and have been helping raise her. I'm currently in school right now and just trying to make a little extra money. Can walk or feed in between classes or come over after classes for a bit. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all throughout my childhood and have taken care of a couple dogs full time over the years. I am experienced mostly with dogs but I am familiar with cat care. I work nights in the Burlington area so I can work around most schedules and prefer afternoon work for walking. If you need house visits I can work with you on a good schedule. I will follow your directions to a T and will transport animals as needed for walks/hikes. I will treat them as my own as I don’t have any pets and miss having animals around.

About: I’ve been around both dogs and cats my entire life , personally owned both for 5 years now. Back in CO I house sat and watched dogs frequently and loved it , now I work at a Canine daycare and Training facility in Plattsburgh Tuesday-Friday. Brings me joy everyday to help people take care of their fur babies ❤️ I work Tuesday through Thursday throughout the day but have a lengthy lunch break that I can leave and assist others with their pets , Friday I have a half day so Im available all afternoon. Saturday- Monday I’m available for overnight boarding and checkins ( walks , feeding , etc ) . Let me care for your fur baby while you’re away ! I have a large yard with one well behaved girl dog and two cats, I can provide a run line if wanted or just frequent leashed walks if that’s preferred . There are plenty of toys and outdoor shade , as well as a baby pool for cooling off in summer . I have a XXL crate so I can crate your animals if wanted/necessary , and a “Pet room” where they can sleep on the bed or chair as they desire.
About: I grew up with many dogs normally two at a time. I grew up with a great pyrenees and bernese mountain dog. We have a french bulldog now and a pit bull so I am good with any breed!! My mom used this same platform to watch dogs for a while and i would help her! I am home for college right now, and am in desperate need for a job! I love dogs and animals and have always works extremely well with all sorts of breeds of dogs. I am available any time! I will follow every instructions the owners give. I will care for the animal as if they were my own and show them immense amounts of love and affection!
About: I have been pet sitting for over 10 years now. My experience ranges from small to large, puppy to old, and active to immobile animals. I would be happy to provide references if needed. I am currently a masters student at UVM. Lots of time spent at home studying. Gone for few hours a day at most which makes me a great fit for pet care. I feel comfortable with following any training routine your animal is going through. I am capable of taking care of a home with other responsibilities besides pet care that need to get done while you are away.

About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

About: Long story short: I have YEARS of experience and a deep love of all animals! I'm great with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities! Happy to walk them all! Must be kid-friendly if sitting happens in my home. Good with cats for in-your-home pet-sitting The Long Version: I've had dogs in my home since I was a kid. I also have experience with cats, as we had cats first when I was younger, and at one point had multiple cats in the home at once, and also had two cats and two dogs at one time. In college I volunteered at a local rescue and walked dogs of all sizes and personalities several days a week. I ended up adopting one of those dogs, and had her from the age of about 4, until her passing a couple years ago at around age 15. She was an absolute love, but she also could be very reactive on walks/ in public. She was extremely particular about which dogs she approved and even when she found one she'd be okay with, she often took quite a careful, long introduction to make it work. We went through behavioral training and made some progress, and I was able to take her on many adventures, even despite her still being a bit reactive. I learned a lot about dog behavior and socialization with her. Over the years we also rehab'd an ACL injury and recovery, and had to make life/ home/ meds modifications as she got older and needed some more senior dog TLC. I am happy to visit/ walk any dogs, behavioral "quirks" and all, as long as I know about their strengths, challenges, and how to support them, in advance. For boarding/ any care within my own home, I am only able to accept dogs that are excellent with young children (I have two dog-loving kids under age 5). I'm a teacher, so my schedule varies based on the time of year! During the school year: I can do weekend walks, or dog sitting, ideally at my home, through the weekend. During the summer months: My schedule is flexible! I'm happy to do quick potty breaks for pups during the day, regular walks, filling in for random days you have to work longer than usual, boarding/ dog sitting (again, ideally at my home since I have two little kids) I've always loved my pets as members of the family! I will give your pet all the love and care that I'd give my own! I am happy to follow any pre-established expectations and appreciate knowing anything that's going to help make my time with your pet as comfortable and fun for them as possible in your absence. I also love capturing adorable pictures of animals lounging, playing, etc. so I will definitely send pics during / after my visit if you want them! We don't currently have any pets in our home. Our dogs were allowed on the couch, bed, anywhere, and I was usually curled right up with them, but I of course plan to follow any rules/ standard expectations that you have established for your pets and/or your home.
About: I have had dogs my whole life and have taken care of a variety of dogs since I was young, including puppies and senior dogs. I also have raised goats and chickens for years. I have a large fenced in yard for plenty of outdoor playtime and access to acres of wooded trails outside my backyard. I love hiking with dogs as well as playing outside.
