About: Hello I'm a fellow dog owner. My Charlie is a 30 pound sheltie mix and gets along with everyone. He's super friendly so he'll get along with your dog. I work from home two days out of the week and I'm available on weekends for doggy daycare where they'll play in the backyard, get walks, I'll make sure they eat, and get enough water. I can do over night any day of the week as well. The days I work from home are Tuesdays and Fridays. If you have questions please feel free to ask. I'm very accommodating but obviously I do have concerns. I have two crates and two beds on my own they can used so you don't have to bring your own.
About: I've had a pet most of my life. Missy was my first cat but I've had 5 since her. Cats typically love me even the shy ones. Max was my first dog but I've lived with or owned 5. I even owned a hamster named Ralphie when I was a young adult. Recently, my family lost our 14 year old Yorkie Duncan. We now open our home to boarding and daycare we and a CA wood turtle. About: I have cared for pets with my family since I was a baby, and I have been volunteering with animal rescues since the age of 14! (to care for and clean up after cats/dogs.) I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting). For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule as my Rover schedule allows (as I will likely need to leave a few times during the day for other pet visits). I am comfortable staying overnight in your home. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.

From initial communication, to meeting her and her lovely pups at the meet and greet, all of our interactions with Jizelle confirmed that Whitney was in great hands while we were away. Jizelle was also very flexible with a last minute request to shift the drop off earlier than planned and provided us with regular photos and updates to let us know how things were going - she even braved foot high snow and ice to ensure that Whitney had adequate walks and fresh air following a once-in-a-decade snowmageddon!
