When a potential marking issue came up, she handled it thoughtfully and professionally — she was open to using diapers instead of crating, which I really appreciated her flexibility on. The one area I’d note is that she seemed to have a busy work schedule, as we all do… When I returned, Huku’s (senior) diaper was full, suggesting he had not been out for a while that day— something to keep in mind if regular outdoor breaks are important for your pups. But overall, Michelle is super caring and communicative sitter who genuinely looks after your dogs. I would certainly ask her again!”

About: I’ve volunteered at shelters since I was 15 (Prince William County and Lost Dog & Cat Rescue). I’ve had dogs in my family since I was 8. I have a friendly Irish Setter named Lacy at home, who loves new friends. I am currently unemployed and in grad school (virtual) so my schedule is open at the moment. My normal pet care routine is centered around my dog which is very low maintenance but will make adjustments according to needs of each dog. I have a fenced in backyard. The back yard is not massive but there is a lake at the end of my neighborhood that I take my dog too every day. I have one very friendly Irish Setter. She is 3 years old and spayed.

“My dog had a great stay with Jessica! She closely follows care instructions and spends time catering to the dog's needs. She also sent pics and updates throughout the stay which is much appreciated. I would definitely recommend her and will book with her again!”
“Michelle was wonderful with my boys! What I appreciated most was her daily updates — she kept me informed about how they were settling in, how they were adjusting to a new environment, and how they were getting along with her own fur girls. The photos she sent were such a comfort while I was away. Her communication was also excellent. When a potential marking issue came up, she handled it thoughtfully and professionally — she was open to using diapers instead of crating, which I really appreciated her flexibility on. The one area I’d note is that she seemed to have a busy work schedule, as we all do… When I returned, Huku’s (senior) diaper was full, suggesting he had not been out for a while that day— something to keep in mind if regular outdoor breaks are important for your pups. But overall, Michelle is super caring and communicative sitter who genuinely looks after your dogs. I would certainly ask her again!”

“Our dog Bear stayed with them to get familiar ahead of his upcoming stay, and they kindly offered to host him for an extra day. I received plenty of photos and updates throughout. Their home is very well set up for dogs—just like they described. One room is converted into a fenced dog space, and they also have a fenced yard. Bear looked relaxed, happy, and right at home. He clearly enjoyed all the love and attention from Megha, Irene, and their family. I highly recommend them!”
“Michael and Alaina (and doggie Deji) were amazing hosts. We had a fairly last minute request for them to watch our golden, Penny, for eight nights, including a holiday weekend, and they were more than accommodating. They were communicative, sent pictures several times a day, and took Penny on lots of walks and multiple outings (Great Falls, Ft Ward and Starbucks to name a few). We wouldn’t hesitate to leave Penny with Michael, Alaina and Deji again and they will be our first message when looking for a dog sitter in the future.”
“I was nervous to leave Winnie for the first time with non-family but Cheryl and Gustavo (and their family) welcomed Winnie and made her feel right at home! I received daily photos and updates which helped ease my worries, she was very well taken care of, loved on, and treated like one of their own. Will definitely rebook for our next trip. Winnie enjoyed her vacation as much as we did!”
