Easy to drop off/pick up and get back on the highway again. She responded quickly when I made an inquiry about a weekly daycare hosting for my shy miniature poodle. She demonstrated kindness and patience when our Meet and Greet began later than scheduled. During his stay, Christy texted pictures of Blinky going on a long walk or playing in the backyard. Lovely family took very good care of him. On the second day, I dropped Blinky off, he rushed through the front door without looking back. To me that said a lot because Blinky was not a social butterfly by any stretch of imagination. I can whole heartily give Christy five stars, just for that alone!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs since I was very young, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have a pug, so I’m very familiar with daily routines like walking, feeding, bathing, and giving lots of love and attention. Friends, neighbors, and family have always trusted me to look after their pets, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m currently a nursing student on break, and most of my classes during the semester are online. This means I’m home full-time on all non-clinical days and have plenty of time to give your pets my full attention. My schedule is very flexible, so I’m available most days for walks, drop-ins, and boarding. Safety is always my top priority. I grew up with dogs and currently have a sweet pug, so I’m very comfortable handling pets of all sizes and personalities. My home is clean, calm, and pet-friendly, and I always make sure dogs are supervised, fed on schedule, and kept in a safe environment. About: Hi! My name is Sarah. I grew up taking care of our family dog, rabbit, guinea pigs and fish. I feel comfortable and confident walking/caring for all different sizes and ages of dogs due to previously working for a dog walking/pet sitting company in the NOVA area during 2016-2017. During that year, I was also was responsible for overnight stays, and day time cat visits. My primary experience with pet care since that time has been taking care of my own dog (his name is Rudy, he is a toy poodle who has been the best friend we could dream of for almost 10 years and counting). I am in the medical field and am currently in between jobs, which allows my schedule to be flexible. I am available every weekday (and most weekends). For house sitting, I will keep to your desired schedule as my Rover schedule allows (as I will likely need to leave a few times during the day for other pet visits). I am comfortable staying overnight in your home. For dog walking, your dog’s safety is my top priority. I will avoid other dogs and if walking 2 dogs at the same time, I use a waist leash. I prefer to use a harness and non-retractable leashes (when available). Before or after their walk, we can also play fetch/play with toys inside or outside (if you have a fenced in yard). For cat visits, I am happy to clean their litter boxes, feed them, and play with them inside your home (only if they are interested, of course!) For either dogs or cats, I am able to administer oral or injectable medication if needed.
