About: Growing up with large breeds (Bernese Mountain Dog & German Shepard), I’ve always been a lover of all pets, especially dogs. Since relocating to Blacksburg area for work 8 years ago, I’ve pet sat for a variety of animals in the region, ranging from puppies to senior dogs with specific medical needs. It would be an honor to meet and care for your pets! I work full time at VT with some remote days per week, so it can be a flexible schedule. About: I have a ragdoll cat that it was to rescue from a really really bad home. She had bad fleas and a lot of scabs and a really bad chicken allergy. I was able to nurse her back to health and get her in a stable condition she has been with me for two years now and she has not had a single outbreak since we discovered her chicken allergy so I know how to get a cat medicine and treat open wounds. I also know how to handle a cat with allergies.

About: We enjoy having a dog. We do walks, sniff games, chicken broth ice cubes for happy hour in our fenced in yard. We want your dog to feel like they are on vacation when they are with us. About: My home is where I tell people "they have me trained well". I love all animals and believe they deserve the best of treatment as they give to us so unconditionally. Any animal in our household is taken care of as they are our children. Our older dog was raised to be kind to smaller animals and seems to think anything smaller than him is his to take care of. We taught this by stroking gently and telling him to "be nice" this is just a "baby". Animals are never hit or disciplined by any harsh means, we reinforce good behavior. Our dogs get brushed every night around 7:00 and remind us if we miss the time and we treat them to a small snack every evening around 8:30 which they know also.

“Tyro had a great time with Samantha and was properly tired out when picking him up. Tyro is a very high-energy dog, and Samantha’s house was a great match. The fenced yard was awesome, and her house was easy to find.”
“We had to book with Kayla pretty much as last minute as you could get. Our original Rover didn’t work out and we needed to find somewhere quick. Kayla was super communicative and easy going! Her other dogs are all so sweet and well trained. It was a great socialization experience for our dog. She sent us so many videos and pictures throughout the booking. We loved Kayla and would recommend her 1000x over”
“Richard could not have been nicer and my dogs seem to have enjoyed their stay! I was worried about my 15 month old English bulldog pouting the entire time, but Richard won her over. The location is wonderfully located high above the daily humdrum. If your pets are used to country living, they will thoroughly enjoy a stay here! I highly recommend and will be using for future needs.”
“What a great experience with Mirabel and her family. They treated Cady as if she were their own. I could tell from all the pictures that Cady was having a terrific time by the smile on her face. “It was clear from the first moment after meeting Natalie that she absolutely loves all dogs. She was great with our puppy. It was the first time that we had to board our 5 month old Golden Retriever, Lexie but Natalie made this painless for us and Lexie. She sent daily reports and even videos of Lexie so we could see that she was doing great. Lexie even hated to leave her house. I would highly recommend Natalie to anyone who needs to board their dog.”
“Carmen and her husband were absouloutly amazing with our two dogs! She has an amazing fenced back yard that are dogs loved running around in. Carmen was great at communicating and sending me pictures and they worked around their schedules to find a convientent time for us to pick up our dogs. I will definately consider Carmen next time we need to board our dogs.”
“They looked like they had a great time! Was given plenty of attention and treats. Did not appear overly hungry or thirsty when we brought them back home telling me they were given plenty of food and water. Liked that Lydia has a fenced in back yard and appreciated the daily picture updates and video without me having to ask first. Was also able to get us in last minute and was very responsive. Would highly recommend!”
