“During July 4th, we planned on going out of town for the weekend. We were impressed with Julie's rover profile and decided to contact her. We were able to meet up with her twice, once so that she could see our dog, and the second time so that Mozzie could check out her place. This was the first time since adopting him over a year ago that were had ever boarded him somewhere, so we were understandably nervous about it, but Julie proved to be a great sitter. She sent us status updates and pictures while we were away, so that we could know what Mozzie was up to. “Michelle took good care of my pup. Her dog Milo is a sweetie. She has a nice yard for them to play in and my dog also enjoyed relaxing by her side on the couch.”

About: I’ve had my dog for nearly a year and I’ve had foster pups come through here in that time as well. But plenty of past experience with pups! I do weekends so I can spend more time with the dogs since I work full time. Exceptions can be made for weekly watching if you are okay with that schedule. I would let them out often and feed them at the times you instruct me to. I will also cuddle with them if they allow.

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give every dog. I treat each pup like they’re my own, taking the time to understand their personality, routine, and needs. I’m reliable, patient, and loving, creating a comfortable and present environment where dogs feel happy and cared for while their owners are away! I’m available throughout the entire month of July and will be home consistently, which means I can give your pet plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. I’m able to be present during my stays and keep up with your pet’s routine, whether that includes walks, playtime, meals, medication reminders, or just extra companionship! My priority is making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, habits, and needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free. In my home, I provide a calm and supervised environment where pets can relax and feel at ease. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and routines while making sure their pets receive the same attention, patience, and affection I would give my own.

About: I’ve always been an animal person and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles, including my own ball python. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd who can be very anxious, so I’m used to being patient with nervous pets and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I’ve pet sat for animals of all different temperaments, including a cat with a more aggressive personality, so I understand the importance of respecting each animal’s boundaries and adapting to their individual needs. I love spending time outdoors and taking walks, and I know the Richmond area well. With two years of professional housekeeping experience, I’m comfortable caring for both pets and homes with the same level of respect and attention to detail I’d want for my own. My goal is to provide dependable care for both your pet and your home, while making sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away! I work about 20 hours a week as an esthetician and make my own schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. Because I set my own hours, I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I would love to fit pet care into my routine. I believe every pet is different, so I do my best to follow their normal routine and make them feel as comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while keeping up with their feeding schedule and any specific instructions you provide. For cats staying in my home, I’ll provide a calm, safe environment where they can settle in at their own pace. Having lived with multiple cats of various personalities, I understand that some cats are social while others prefer their space, and I’m happy to accommodate both! I will stay in regular communication, providing updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing!
“Nicole does such a great job with my baby. On days when it’s too hot she still makes sure he goes out and gets playtime and love. I absolutely love that she takes multiple pics to show what they’ve been up to. Pork Chop enjoys her visits so much”

“Jeffrey provided me with the confident he would take care of Hailie well. Shared a brief description of his time with her and a picture as well. Communicated well and is very polite.”

“Conrad stepped in at our late notice and took fantastic care of our two dogs! They were staying with a sitter who could not walk them, and Conrad came to the rescue with walking them for a full hour every day, reliably and on-time! He communicates really well, is really responsible, and clearly has experience with dogs. One of my dogs is also dog-reactive, and Conrad knew just how to manage any reactive signs on walks and keeps distance from other animals. He listens well to instructions and is just a great dude. I’m happily looking to making him our regular go-to pet sitter and walker whenever we need support!”
About: I’ve had dogs growing up and had to take care of them a lot as well as having experience as a kennel tech over some summers! I’m currently off over the summer while school is out so my availability is very open. I can take care of your pets when ever you need me. I have an apartment that I am more than happy having pets stay in however there is no yard. I am happy to stay with them and house sit.
“Deiandre was great. He was very communicative and gave detailed reports after every walk. It was such a relief knowing my sweet girl was in good hands while I was on a work trip.”

About: I've never not had animals in my life! I spent my early years on a working farm and have always had a way with animals. Dogs love me (cats, too!) and I them ❤️ I have many years of experience in the veterinary field and know what to do in emergencies. I am currently working part time and my schedule is flexible. I do work away from home for 5-8 hours a day, split shift. I have dogs amd cats but can keep them separate, if necessary. My dogs are dog friendly, although my beagle mix is very bossy (typical!) Dogs will be in the house with my dogs, but they can be separated, if needed. I can crate, if the parents supply the crate. Dogs will be leash walked in the wide front yard but we can also go across the street to the dog park, too!

About: I specialize in thoughtful, low-stress care for cats of all personalities—from social and playful to shy and selective. I take the time to understand each cat’s routine, preferences, and boundaries so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I have experience with multi-cat households, administering basic medications, and caring for senior cats who need a little extra patience and attention. I’m highly reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented, and I treat your home and your cat with the same level of care I would expect for my own. You can expect regular updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your cat is in calm, capable hands. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I maintain a flexible schedule that allows me to plan my day around visits, ensuring I’m always on time and able to provide consistent, attentive care. Whether it’s a quick drop-in or a longer visit, I prioritize being fully present and dependable. I focus on maintaining each cat’s normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. During visits, I handle feeding, fresh water, litter box care, and playtime or companionship based on your cat’s personality. I take the time to understand preferences — whether that’s interactive play, quiet company, or simply respecting their space. I’m attentive to small changes in behavior or appetite and will always communicate anything noteworthy. I also treat your home with care and respect, keeping things clean and consistent. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you always know how your cat is doing.
About: As a child, I had a small dog named Nike! She was the cutest little Shih Tzu. Having her at a young age taught me responsibility first and foremost, but it also taught me how to appreciate and be patient with animals. I have fond memories of walking her around the neighborhood, being sure she had food and plenty of water in her bowls, and running around with her outside! She also got ENDLESS cuddle time. She was my first best friend, and although she’s not here with me in my adult years, I’ve come to love and value ALL animals, from playful cats, to everyday animals like squirrels and birds, lol. I’m a college student, graduating in the fall next year, and I have many breaks where I’m home. When home, I am fully available everyday, anytime to care for pets! I follow instructions EXACTLY as they’re given to me. Special instructions? No problem! Dinner time at 6? Done and done. I’ll be sure your fur baby has plenty of play time and cuddles as well! Rest assured knowing they’re in good hands!

About: My name is Nick and I am a teacher in Chesterfield county looking to use my love for animals as a way to make some extra money over the summer. I also have lots of experience dog/cat sitting for friends and family over the years ever since I was in high-school. I am a teacher so I won’t be working during the summers so I will have unlimited time during the day/night to take care of your pets and their needs! Once the school year starts I can do weekends and afternoon/nights! I have a lot of energy myself so if your pets love to get exercise/play around I am very up for that. I also try to be very thorough with the pet care instructions and will ask questions/for clarification to ensure I am giving your pet the best care as possible.

Also open to grooming and showering your dog, especially if they are staying overnight with me. If your pup is energetic and loves to play we will be a great match!!

“Nicole did a wonderful job taking care of my 5 year old Samoyed for a long weekend! Drop off and pick up were easy. I received photos through out his stay. Her dog Tank is a big sweetheart. My pup returned home happy and well cared for in my absence. Highly recommend her boarding services, and I would definitely use her again in the future!”

“Le’Quitta was absolutely wonderful with Honey! From the very beginning, she was thoughtful and communicative. We did a meet-and-greet beforehand, and she even brought one of her dogs to make sure Honey would be comfortable since she can be a little reactive around other dogs. Just before our trip, Honey unexpectedly needed stitches and had to wear a cone while taking medication every 12 hours. Le’Quitta didn’t hesitate—she happily took on the extra care, administered Honey’s medications, and gave us complete peace of mind so we could still enjoy our weekend away. Throughout Honey’s stay, Le’Quitta sent frequent updates and photos, and it was obvious Honey was having the best time playing with the other dogs. She even had her first positive introduction to a cat! Every picture showed a happy, smiling dog who was clearly loved and well cared for. I’m so grateful for Le’Quitta flexibility, communication, and genuine care for Honey. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their dog like family.”

“We were very pleased with the attention that Shannon and her family gave to Sierra. He is a very senior dog and needs a little extra loving and care. Shannon sent pictures every day and was careful to keep him cool during the hot July 4th weather. Her home is really nice and perfect for a large dog. Sierra really enjoyed Shannon's backyard. He didn't want to come home. We would recommend Shannon to anyone who want's a Rover sitter.”
