As if one quirky bull terrier isn’t enough, how about adding a 1 y/o bull terrier and leaving both for 2 weeks? Cori had her hands full but dealt with the issues the young one caused (regression potty training issues, territorial issues, etc). As always, very communicative and understanding about the young one (we figured out that since Pixie was newly rescued, that she must’ve been confused about yet another home she’d been shuffled off to and that was probably the source of the angst). Bodie wasn’t neglected or ignored in this. He may have even gotten to sleep in a human bed… 😂 We don’t have any trips planned any time soon but Cori’s still top of my list (if she’ll have Pixie again!) when I need someone.”

Richard is clearly experienced and confident administering all types of medications, including injections, which gave me a huge sense of relief and comfort. It’s not easy to find someone you fully trust with a dog that has medical needs, but I felt completely comfortable leaving Bruno in his care. Bruno got constant attention, enjoyed his backyard, and clearly loved spending time with Richard and his family. About: I have had pets my entire life. Dogs,cats and fish. I also know how to take care of farm animals especially horses and chickens. I have an elderly pup my self so I understand that extra care they might need and I am happy to help provide it! I have also started working with pet photography. I am currently a full time student but will still have ample time to hang out with all fur babies. Or pets without fur too! I will be over to the house minimum of three times and happy to add on visits as needed. Dogs if leashed trained will go on daily walks when weather allows. About: In our home your dog will receive a lot of love from our family and companionship from our two dogs. We have a golden retriever and a Bernese mountain dog. They are both 3 years old. We have bred each of them once and are used to having small puppies around. We have a large, fenced backyard for your dog to play safely. Your dog will be part of the family during their stay. We will take them on daily walks and will receive lots of cuddles. Besides intermittent outings, I will be home with your dog, the whole time. I have had dogs for many years, but I have dog sat dogs for the last two years. Your dog will be a part of our family. I homeschool my children and so we are home most of the time. We do have outings but are usually back within 4 hours. I can usually accommodate our schedule if your pet needs care more often than that, if I know in advance. About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.

About: I've been taking care of dogs of all sizes for the past several years for family, friends and other neighbors. I have the most experience with small/medium dogs but have occasional experience with larger dogs. I'm currently a full time teacher so I would be available after school August-May and any time through June to the beginning of August. For my own pets I have crate trained and supervise their time outside. For family and friends pets that I have cared for and walked I follow the owners preferences for care.

I’ve also taken care of canines with different medical conditions (cancer, diabetes, etc). My eldest pup currently has stage 2 kidney diseases I’m a stay at home mom. She was very communicative, sent daily photos and videos, which really helps the kids deal with missing their dog. Her house is a perfect space for taking care of dogs. Her yard was awesome and our dog (Joy) seemed to be having a great time. Will definitely go with Stacie again the next time we need someone willing to take care of Joy for us.”
