“Tavonne was excellent!!! I truly like the fact that she sent me frequent pics and updates on Milo!! I will definitely be using her for all of my boarding needs.”

“Sent plenty of pics, bought treats and took great care of my big boy. Very informative, knowledgeable about dog care. Definitely will be sending my dog to her anytime she's available”

“Constance is a really special person. Great communicator, kind and open. She was open to do a meet and greet before Teddys actual staycation and allowed us to see her home and meet her pets to make sure everyone gets along. Once we dropped Teddy off she sent pictures every day! Communicated very clearly and kept me informed of Teddys well being. She was accommodating when we had little curve balls thrown at us and we have absolutely no complaints at all. Your fur babies will be in good hands with Constance! We will be booking again for our next vacation.”

“With a sudden family emergency we were worried leaving our pets. Rover is a great app with great people, we loved the picture updates from Kim and how wonderful she was! Understanding, passionate, and professional. We will be contacting Kim again in the future if we ever need another sitter!”

“Erica was phenomenal. I was nervous about leaving my 2 large dogs with someone I just met. However, when I met her prior to boarding my dogs, I knew it was a good choice. She has an area just for the dogs that she boards, was incredibly knowledgeable about dog behaviors and how to handle them. I was especially nervous because my youngest dog is reactive. Erica knew precisely how to manage that. She even worked with my reactive dog and my dog was very responsive. I received ample communication and photos throughout my dogs stay with her. Having Erica watch my dogs gave me peace of mind that I didn’t expect from a new person. I highly recommend Erica and will call her again should I need to board my dogs.”

“Emily is the best! She is so kind and caring. My dog is very loved while in her presence and i can tell she has the genuine heart for animals! highly recommend! 10/10!”

“Lora was simply amazing! She was a blind last minute booking when I ended up in urgent care and our usual sitter was traveling. She took great care of Apollo and even improved some of his nervous habits. She was also kind enough to do a consultation upon picking him up so that I could continue building on his progress and new accomplishments. She has a very understanding, informed approach to dog training. We lucked out and will definitely book her again!”

“Lilo loved her stay with Jeff and Barb, and most importantly we felt she was safe and treated like family while we were away. We received fast updates and communications that made the booking seamless and allowed us to enjoy our vacation knowing Lilo was in such great hands. Thank you for taking such great care of our grand-puppy.”

“Oh my gosh! My boy Neeko had THE BEST time!!!! Cristen was great at sharing photos and videos during his 2 night weekend visit. Her communication is so good. Micheal playing out in the yard with him throwing the ball. The whole family gave Neeko lots of love as if he were their own. Once I picked Neeko up and got him home, he slept the rest of the day. He was completely worn out!! If he were a kid, I think he would be talking about his sleepover for days!!! Lol. I could not have found a more perfect family to love my baby. 🥰”

“I knew when I met Julie that this home was the right choice for our pup. There is nothing better than knowing your furry family member is in a good and loving environment while you're out of town. We could not have been happier and will use her and Kenneth again!”

“Samuel was absolutely amazing! I think Silk had a mini vacation - long walks, pets, and pool time, he couldn't have been happier! Samuel provided excellent communication and kept us updated with photos. When we picked Silk up, he greeted us and ran circles around us and Samuel, even further confirming Silk had a great time and enjoyed his visit! Thanks Samuel!”

“Alexis was the best! We are transitioning from Boston Massachusetts to Hampton roads, and at the last minute I needed a sitter for 2 of my golden doodle boys, to move my remaining items to VA, and Alexis quickly responded and agree to Take my boyz. She took pictures and messaged me daily about much fun they were having. We definitely will utilize Alexis again! We found a sitter here in Hampton Roads! Yay!!”

“Angela is the absolute best. She provided the best care and treated my dog like a king. My high energy dog came back so well behaved and incredibly well groomed, she treated him to spa days, made him amazing homemade health treats, stuck to his routine and provided me so many updates and pictures I was never left questioning his wellbeing. I almost don’t want to leave this review so I don’t have to fight for her care in the future. But she is honestly the best care giver. I don’t want anyone else watching my dog but angela at this point. 100/10. Thank you angela ❤️❤️”

“Rodney is amazing! He took good care of our sweet standard poodle while we were out of town. Very responsive and friendly. My dog had the best days while staying with him. Highly recommend him!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I am very pleased. A'Lauren was so informative while I was away. I will definitely use her again!!! This left my mind at ease!!!”

“Suzanne is amazing! She sent so many sweet updates of our cats while she was watching them & gave them lots of love. We really appreciated her communication and all of the photo updates. Thank you for doing an amazing job, Suzanne!”

“Laurelyn took good care of our two cats during our 14 day vacation. She took the time each day to make sure our cats had time on the screen porch and that our one cat got his daily drink from the faucet, along with watching our garden. We will use her as a sitter again for our future travels!”

About: I’m currently active duty Air Force, newly stationed in Hampton, VA. Since I can’t have pets in the dorms, caring for yours is the next best thing and honestly, it makes my day every time I get to spend time with animals. Before moving here, I volunteered for several years at nonprofit rescues that specialize in disabled and special-needs animals. My responsibilities included feeding, bathing, cleaning kennels and litter boxes, refreshing bedding, and making sure each animal got individual attention and affection. I also assisted with basic grooming, gentle handling for nervous pets, and light training reinforcement during play or walks. Since moving to Virginia, I’ve been volunteering at The Cat Corner in Hampton, where I work exclusively with cats. I help with feeding, litter changes, sanitizing enclosures, and socializing cats to prepare them for adoption. It’s helped me become especially good at reading feline body language and handling shy or anxious cats. I also have experience with house sitting, dog sitting, cat sitting, and snake sitting, so I’m very comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether that means sticking to a feeding schedule, going for long walks, keeping up with playtime, or sending regular photo updates. I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their people are away. When I’m not working or volunteering, I love spending time outdoors, reading, cooking, going to the gym, and exploring Virginia. I’m also working toward becoming a lawyer while continuing my military career and of course, always finding ways to stay close to animals and help those in need. I’d love to help care for your pets like they’re my own with patience, reliability, flexibility, and plenty of love.
About: Hi! My name is Marylinn, and I’m a stay-at-home mom who genuinely loves animals of all kinds. I’m looking forward to helping local pet owners by providing reliable, loving care for their furry, feathered, or scaly family members. I have experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, as well as cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, and reptiles. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, feeding, companionship, or a quick check-in visit, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own pets. One important note: I do have a young child who accompanies me during walks and pet-sitting visits. Because of this, I am best suited for friendly, well-socialized pets that are comfortable around children. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your beloved pets, and I strive to provide dependable, compassionate care that gives you peace of mind while you’re away. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pets. Please feel free to reach out with any questions—I look forward to helping! My schedule is flexible, and I value clear communication. If you reach out ahead of time, I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that meets your needs. I prefer morning or early afternoon Dog walks Drop-in visits (30 minutes to 1 hour) Feeding and fresh water Playtime and companionship Updates and photos during visits Clean ocasional accidents if needed

“Ive used Brandys daycare services for Loki 2 days a week for about 5 weeks now. She is very attentive, loves dogs, and caring towards him. He gets so excited to see her and looks so comfortable around her family. She gives physical daily report cards with the potty schedule, behavior, feedings, comments and recommendations. She sends photos throughout the day. Her family enjoys having him around and I love seeing him play with her children. I had a family emergency one weekend and she had no problem keeping him for me until I got back in town. That was super huge because she does have a family, it was last minute, and a big ask. Definitely would recommend her services.”

“Elisabeth was awesome! Ivy enjoyed her time spending the day here, and Elisabeth sent lots of updates, to include photos. Would definitely recommend her to care for your pup as well!”

“Raven was a huge help with my dog when I needed a sitter last minute. She communicated with me well and jept me updated throughout my pups stay. I would highly recommend for booking with her for your pup!”

About: I’ve grown up with many animals in my home. Ranging from dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. I know what it means to feel at ease knowing your pets are being well taken care of while you’re away. Let me be that person for you. Currently, I am a stay at home mom with one small child. Which makes my availability pretty flexible. I will try my best to work out our schedules so that your pets get all the attention they need. I do not view our pets as just pets. They are an extension of our family. Just as much a family member as any other. They deserve time, respect, and love. Nothing feels more rewarding than earning the love and trust of another animal. I strive to provide the best care for God’s beautiful creatures.
“Such a great experience for my babies! I would absolutely recommend! I felt super comfortable having Lisa watch all four of my kitties and my dog. I will absolutely book again if I need to in the future.”

About: I have been caring for dogs since 2011 and have owned a variety of breeds, including Yorkies, Beagles, and German Shepherds. My dogs have always been beloved family members who lived long, happy lives. I understand the importance of dependable, loving care and will treat your pet with the same attention, patience, and affection I give my own. I work from home, which allows me to provide frequent attention, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Because I am home most of the time, pets in my care receive plenty of supervision, affection, and a consistent routine. I know every pet has their own routine, so I take the time to learn what makes them comfortable. Whether that means sticking to a specific feeding schedule, going for extra walks, playing fetch, or just relaxing on the couch, I try to keep their day as normal as possible. I work from home and have a fully fenced yard, which allows for plenty of supervised outdoor time, exercise, and play throughout the day. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
“I could rave about how absolutely amazing Samantha was with my Khaleesi for hours, but I’ll keep it short for reading purposes. My dog Khaleesi is a high anxiety dog and does not do well with strangers and typically hides from them. Samantha had her during the day for 3 days, and from day 1 Khaleesi took right to her. It did take some warming up time, but Samantha kept me very updated and sent pictures throughout the day. By the end of the 3 days, Khaleesi was walking into Samantha’s house without hesitation and didn’t even turn around to look at me. Samantha is incredible and I highly recommend her!!!!”

“I can’t say enough kind things about Michelle. I feel like she’s an extension of our family in how she cares for our puppy. She’s provides an enriching experience for dogs in her care. She is warm, personable and efficient in response to communication. We will use her again.”

“As always, Cassandra gave my dog just the care he needed! If he’s low energy they have a chill day together, and if he wants to play games she keeps him entertained.”

About: I used to have another rover account and dog watching was my full time job for about 3 years. I quit for a little bit but now I am a stay at home mom and have a 4 1/2 year old golden who loves everyone and just wants some friends to play with. I am a stay at home mom and have a dog of my own so adding a few more never hurts. My golden daisy is my child she is so spoiled and if you trust me with your dog they will be too. She is full of energy and loves all dogs and people haha. She does not know what stranger danger is. I have a huge fenced in back yard. I am also able to split up my house to have dogs in separate areas when they need a break from each other. This will be my full time job aside from being a mom so I am always home.

“Vianca and her family were so wonderful to Calvin. He had so much fun there, was so excited every morning and made me drag him away when it was time to leave. Her dogs played nicely with my puppy. They adhered to providing him a couple dedicated crate naps daily. Would def use Vianca again! Thank you!”

I also follow each pet’s routine closely and never leave them unsupervised in unsafe situations. My goal is to provide a safe, loving space where pets can relax and feel at home
“David is truly amazing! We needed a sitter for our pup at the last minute so I went on Rover and was impressed with David’s profile and reviews. I contacted him and he responded right away. We needed a 5am drop off and he was totally accommodating. Oz spent the day playing with David’s pups and was so happy when we picked him up. David communicated with me during the day to put me at ease and I appreciated that. You know how dog mama’s are lol. We had a great experience and will definitely rebook with him many times in the future.”

“I had a vacation out of state and Felicitas truly made me feel like I was still at home taking care of my own babies. She was super responsive, and on time every time. She updated me on one of my dogs limping as soon as she noticed it and sent a video displaying the problem. The pictures she sent were also very cute and funny. My babies adored her. Next time I go on vacation I would absolutely use her again.”

“Sent plenty of pics, bought treats and took great care of my big boy. Very informative, knowledgeable about dog care. Definitely will be sending my dog to her anytime she's available”

Yay!!”

“Rodney is amazing! He took good care of our sweet standard poodle while we were out of town. Very responsive and friendly. My dog had the best days while staying with him. Highly recommend him!”

“Jackie & Kevin took great care of my pup. They provided daily updates which gave me comfort. Rocky felt so comfortable to be his 73 pound lap dog self and they loved that.”

“As always, my pup has a great time with Elisabeth and her family! I always get updated from her and when I pick him up he never wants to leave! Definitely eases my mind knowing he's being taken care of so well!!! Thank you!!”

“Amazing and accommodating when had to extend at last minute. Really sweet and nice people. Notified me when stool was soft and kept monitoring. Will book again.”

“Aurelia was amazing with our girl! She was so wonderful and took such incredible care of our pup while we were out of town for Christmas. Even when our pup got herself in a bit of trouble, Aurelia was gracious and caring. We got pictures and reports throughout, and our dog was as happy as could be! We are so grateful for the care Aurelie and her family gave our dog!”

“This was my first time using Rover, it took me awhile to give it a try and now I wish I did It sooner. My pup was taken care of, loved the updates and for a small fee he was nice and freshly washed when I picked him. I would Definitely use her again! And highly recommend.”
