“Jessica was nothing but amazing this stay! We’ve stayed with her twice before and Rippley loved her. She’s very flexible with your plans and makes sure to make your puppy feel at home, plus her kiddos make excellent sitters too!”

“I read the Brandy’s reviews and was impressed but because this was my first time leaving my dog I was nervous. Brandy was exceptionally great. I got daily updates with pictures and videos. I felt so comfortable after the first night I will use you always for my fur baby. She communicated with me before she gave her anything other than treats and I was very pleased. My fur baby had a great time because the next day after I picked her up she slept lol. Thank you Brandy for doing a great job with my precious cargo (Hennicey).”

“I could not have asked for a better dog sitter! From the very beginning, Shanae was professional, dependable, and incredibly caring with my dog. It was clear that she truly loves animals and treats them like family. I received regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. My dog was happy, well cared for, and comfortable the entire time. Shanae went above and beyond to make sure all routines, feeding schedules, walks, and playtime were handled perfectly. When I returned home, it was obvious that my dog had been loved and cared for exceptionally well. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and compassionate dog sitter. I will absolutely be using her again in the future! Thanks again Shanae!”

“Kim was amazing! I can’t thank her enough. From the moment we met, I knew she would be perfect. She communicated with me, send me pictures and most of all she took great care of him. I will definitely use her services again and recommend her to others. Thank you for caring, snuggling with Boogie and making us feel welcomed. Boogie and I appreciate you.”

“Lora was very sweet and took very good care of our Rottweiler. We were very hesitant because of a previous experience with another sitter but she was reassuring and sent frequent updates. She is very experienced and has a great routine that ensured our dog got all his energy out. Highly recommend!”

“Jeff and family are fantastic! Brooke has visited twice now and already feels right at home. She loves her playmates and is always excited to go back. We’re so happy to have found such a great place for her”

“This was my first time using Rover and I am very pleased. A'Lauren was so informative while I was away. I will definitely use her again!!! This left my mind at ease!!!”

“Samson has stayed with Julie and Kenneth several times this year. Samson is an elderly dog set in his ways, and I can tell he is very comfortable with them. They keep me informed of any issues, and I am so happy to have found them!”

“OMG! We LOVE Erica! She was so amazing with all the updates over the last few days for both of our babies. We couldn't recommend her enough for anyone to use for their baby's care! Will absolutely be booking again! <3”

“She was very responsive and communicative. Very welcoming and even taught me a few things about my dogs I didn’t even know. We will definitely use her again in the future”

“Jakorey took excellent care of my dog when I went out of town. He sent me several pictures of him, walked him and played with him. I would take my dog to Jakorey again. Thank you.”

About: I have had pets most of my life from hermit crabs to dogs. I love them so much that I decided to do pet sitting and dog walking. I have watched friends and families pets while they went on vacation. I also have worked as a Pet Care Specialist at the PetHotel for PetSmart for 3 years and enjoyed interacting with all the dogs and cats in our care. My family is military and when we were stationed in New Jersey, I regularly offered pet sitting for many military families that can attest for my quality of care. After moving from New Jersey to here in Virginia I worked at care a lot pet supplies in the boarding and daycare section for 2 years and then ended working at a vet office in the kennel. I love all kinds of pets and I am not afraid to take care of any kind as I personally have 3 dogs , 4 Australian tree frogs , 6 crested geckos, spiders, 3 ball pythons, a bunny, 6 rats, 4 leopard geckos, hissing cockroaches, chickens, pixie frog, 75 gallon freshwater aquarium, 470 gallon pond, betta fish, and a uromastyx. I am a stay at home mom with school aged kids. My schedule is very flexible throughout the week and weekends. Can coordinate with pet parent to schedule a routine to meet their needs. I have a large, fenced yard for dogs to roam and to play in. I am available to visit my clients’ homes to offer all necessary care needed for their pets (ex. Walks, feeding, provide medication, etc.)
“Cristen and family were amazing! Wish we had found them before. They took very good care of Asher while we were at our daughter’s graduation. We didn’t have to worry about Asher at all. Wonderful family!”

“Alexis was the best! We are transitioning from Boston Massachusetts to Hampton roads, and at the last minute I needed a sitter for 2 of my golden doodle boys, to move my remaining items to VA, and Alexis quickly responded and agree to Take my boyz. She took pictures and messaged me daily about much fun they were having. We definitely will utilize Alexis again! We found a sitter here in Hampton Roads! Yay!!”

“Angela is the absolute best. She provided the best care and treated my dog like a king. My high energy dog came back so well behaved and incredibly well groomed, she treated him to spa days, made him amazing homemade health treats, stuck to his routine and provided me so many updates and pictures I was never left questioning his wellbeing. I almost don’t want to leave this review so I don’t have to fight for her care in the future. But she is honestly the best care giver. I don’t want anyone else watching my dog but angela at this point. 100/10. Thank you angela ❤️❤️”

“Hillary kept great care of our Stella. She provided daily updates and pictures. Stella loved being in Hillary’s care. Stella got lots of attention and love while in Hillary’s care. I will definitely use Hillary again!”

“This was our very first time using Rover or a sitter in general. I was very nervous about the whole thing, especially because we had only added our second dog to the family 4 weeks before leaving on a trip. Elisabeth agreed to a meet and greet ahead of time and that went well enough for me to feel confident booking with her. Our dogs clearly had a good time and they both looked happy when we picked them up! We got an update at least once a day and pictures too. Would love to use her again! Thank you!!”

“Robin is the absolute sweetest and gave me all the confidence that my baby would be more than okay while I was gone. Super responsive, kind and caring, as well as great with the instructions and care aspects; she genuinely loves these animals and it shows. I loved the update pics and videos, it surprised me how fast I saw ny kitty open up to Robin and she did so well with respecting my kitty’s space/ anxiety but also trying to invite her out of her little bedroom to explore and have fun. I’d love to have her watch my cat again, in the future (and hopefully will); any time I need someone, I know I have someone trustworthy and genuine to care for her.💖”

“My demanding cat (Henry) and I LOVE Laurelyn!!! Dependable, kind, caring!!! She does an outstanding job. She lavishly provides Henry with all the pets he requires!”

“Danielle did an excellent job. She did a daily 30 minute drop in visit for our 4 cats. She came every day at the time she said she would and sent us an update and pictures every day. She fed the cats and attended to the litter boxes as needed. We’ll definitely be using her again.”

“Kim was very sweet and accommodating! It was my first time leaving my 12-week old puppy with anyone and she easily settled down with Kim and her two dogs. Would definitely recommend her to other dog parents :)”

About: Hi there! I’m Tori! I’ve been pet sitting dogs, cats, and small animals since I was young since my parents were allergic and I simply HAD to get my animal fix! I’ve spent the last 3 years working as the primary scheduling coordinator, administrator, and in home boarder for a million dollar professional dog walking and pet sitting company in the Raleigh, NC but am now living in the Hampton, VA area with my sister and loving all that the sunshine and beaches have to offer. I’d love to connect and see how I can best offer your furry best friend the love they need while you are away. I have professional experience with dog walking, drop in petsitting, and boarding in my home. I can administer medications and have worked with puppies and senior dogs. I do require a meet and greet before services can begin as it’s very important to me that you and your pet can get familiar with me and I them so the first time I enter your home is not the first time we are meeting. Additionally I ask that you do disclose any prior history of aggression for both my safety and the well being of your pet. I am not a trainer nor do I have experience with aggressive animals. I truly believe that our pets are family and I sincerely hope to establish a long lasting relationship with both you and your pet where we become family too!
About: Hi! I've worked with a lot of different sizes and breeds, as well as different temperaments when it comes to dogs and cats. I can also administer medications and take care of exotic fish or other animals if needed. A little bit about me: I am a very calm, patient, and dependable person with 5 lovely dogs between my husband and I( I had 3 and he had 2 when we met!). I’m a former RN currently at home while finishing up my Doctorate. I would love to get back in to walking, drop-in visits, and recently decided to try out out doggy daycare. We have a nice big backyard! I am open to learning and providing your pup with any accommodations that they may need during my visits and/or their stay. I understand how important it is to make sure they feel safe and loved. Feel free to ask any questions. I look forward to working with you! *I do have a toddler at home most days, so it is important that your dog is friendly with children when considering doggy day care. She will not join me for drop on visits or walks! I do my best to provide service at the times requested. I am very dependable, however I may suggest an alternate time if there is a conflict. I will make it work! I am very organized and respectful when making a visit to a pet parents home. I also make sure doors are locked and light are off when I leave.
About: Growing up, my grandmother fostered litters of puppies and their moms until they were old enough to be adopted. I spent a lot of time volunteering alongside her and learned how to train puppies. While I'm not a professional, I do understand the mechanics of positive enforcement. I have a boxer puppy who will be 1 year old in February and have trained him to walk nicely on a leash as well as other commands. I'm a shift supervisor at Starbucks that works about 30 hours a week. I typically work afternoons and therefore would be available to walk or sit mornings-early afternoons. I have a fenced in yard with doggy doors that can either be open to provide the pup with access to the backyard, or closed to ensure your dog won't get into unsupervised trouble. I also have two gates that separate the home and can add extra separation between animals or other needs.
“Megan is caring, attentive, has attention to detail and took great care of our pets! She is quick to respond and offered us updates after each visit. Thank you so much, Megan! We appreciate you!”

About: Hi! My name is Marylinn, and I’m a stay-at-home mom who genuinely loves animals of all kinds. I’m looking forward to helping local pet owners by providing reliable, loving care for their furry, feathered, or scaly family members. I have experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, as well as cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, and reptiles. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, feeding, companionship, or a quick check-in visit, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own pets. One important note: I do have a young child who accompanies me during walks and pet-sitting visits. Because of this, I am best suited for friendly, well-socialized pets that are comfortable around children. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your beloved pets, and I strive to provide dependable, compassionate care that gives you peace of mind while you’re away. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pets. Please feel free to reach out with any questions—I look forward to helping! My schedule is flexible, and I value clear communication. If you reach out ahead of time, I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that meets your needs. I prefer morning or early afternoon Dog walks Drop-in visits (30 minutes to 1 hour) Feeding and fresh water Playtime and companionship Updates and photos during visits Clean ocasional accidents if needed
About: My name is Rian (pronounced like Ryan) and I am available to do pet drop-ins local to Hampton (especially Fox Hill). Other areas would need to be discussed. I’ve grown up around animals all of my life, as my mother has owned and operated a dog grooming shop since 1990, where I used to work for several years and assisted on the weekends up until 2023. I’ve been doing pet sitting on the side for several years and have references from clients and others in the pet business, if needed. I have several animals of my own (4 dogs, 5 cats, and 1 gecko) and they truly are like children to me. If you feel like you could benefit from pet drop-ins for an upcoming vacation or otherwise, please feel free to reach out to me directly and we can discuss availability/pricing. Depending on the temperament of the animal, I can also offer nail trims and ear cleanings (bathing, etc. would need to be discussed). Thanks in advance! Have a great day! 🐾 I have some flexibility when needed to accommodate drop-ins, etc. I can work with your schedule to make sure your baby is well-loved while you’re away. I can allow your pets to run around your fenced-in yard or walk them on a leash, if needed. I’m flexible in accommodating your regular routine while you’re away.

“Ashley went above and beyond while dropping in to check on our two cats while we were away!!! She had consistently great communication and photos, went the extra mile in every aspect, and displayed genuine care for them. We could not imagine recommending anybody else after our experience with Ashley!!”

“This was our first time using Rover or trusting anyone other than family with our pets. Shelbie immediately made us feel at ease with how attentive, professional and friendly she was with us and our pets. She was on top of everything and gave our pets quality care and love while we were gone! She provided thoughtful updates and helped our pets feel comfortable and come out of their shells. For the first time ever we were able to take a vacation and have peace of mind. I highly recommend her as a sitter!!”

About: Cats aren’t just animals to me — they’re little soulful beings who deserve respect, patience, and affection on their terms. I’ve Got Experience In: ✔ Shy cats / slow trust-building ✔ Administering oral meds & special diets ✔ Litter box hygiene & monitoring habits ✔ Kittens (playtime & socialization!) ✔ Senior cats (gentle care & extra patience)

“Ive used Brandys daycare services for Loki 2 days a week for about 5 weeks now. She is very attentive, loves dogs, and caring towards him. He gets so excited to see her and looks so comfortable around her family. She gives physical daily report cards with the potty schedule, behavior, feedings, comments and recommendations. She sends photos throughout the day. Her family enjoys having him around and I love seeing him play with her children. I had a family emergency one weekend and she had no problem keeping him for me until I got back in town. That was super huge because she does have a family, it was last minute, and a big ask. Definitely would recommend her services.”

About: I’ve grown up with many animals in my home. Ranging from dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. I know what it means to feel at ease knowing your pets are being well taken care of while you’re away. Let me be that person for you. Currently, I am a stay at home mom with one small child. Which makes my availability pretty flexible. I will try my best to work out our schedules so that your pets get all the attention they need. I do not view our pets as just pets. They are an extension of our family. Just as much a family member as any other. They deserve time, respect, and love. Nothing feels more rewarding than earning the love and trust of another animal. I strive to provide the best care for God’s beautiful creatures.
“Raven was a huge help with my dog when I needed a sitter last minute. She communicated with me well and jept me updated throughout my pups stay. I would highly recommend for booking with her for your pup!”

“I absolutely love Timerra and will definitely book with her again! My fur baby was happy and comfortable and that made me happy! She has a new client in us!”

“I keep coming back to Brianna because Arthur absolutely loves her and her husband! They’re always flexible with my crazy schedule. My dog is always happy and she does send a lot of pictures! Definitely will keep recommending!”
About: I have been caring for dogs since 2011 and have owned a variety of breeds, including Yorkies, Beagles, and German Shepherds. My dogs have always been beloved family members who lived long, happy lives. I understand the importance of dependable, loving care and will treat your pet with the same attention, patience, and affection I give my own. I work from home, which allows me to provide frequent attention, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Because I am home most of the time, pets in my care receive plenty of supervision, affection, and a consistent routine. I know every pet has their own routine, so I take the time to learn what makes them comfortable. Whether that means sticking to a specific feeding schedule, going for extra walks, playing fetch, or just relaxing on the couch, I try to keep their day as normal as possible. I work from home and have a fully fenced yard, which allows for plenty of supervised outdoor time, exercise, and play throughout the day. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

“I highly recommend Noelle. Our fur baby Max loves her. We have had no concerns leaving him with her for daycare and for an overnight. Max thinks he is apart of her family 😊”

About: I recently moved from Newport News to Hampton and I look forward to meeting new pet parents and your fur babies. I have had dogs and cats throughout my life starting with my dog Peanuts who my parents gave me when I was 5 years old. He was a Fox Terrier. He lived to be only 13 because of a heart defect,, but he was my best buddy for many years. After his passing,, I was given an orange tabby/angora which my mom named Morris. He lived a very long life,(19 years). I went on to own many wonderful dogs and cats over the years. My current pets are a French bulldog named Frankie and a blonde Tabby named Alyssa. They both get along well with other dogs and cats. I'm retired and have plenty of free time to care for your furbabies. I have raised pitbulls and chow chows and personally house-trained many puppies. I have a large backyard that is not fenced but I live in a very walkable neighborhood I always try to make a new pet as comfortable as possible in my home. I want them to feel safe and loved.
“Once again June loved spending the day at Michelle's. She kept me well updated and sent me pictures. I know when I drop June off she is going to have such a good day playing and being loved on. ”

About: When you book with me, your pet gets the best care possible! Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, I tailor every experience to meet your pet’s unique needs. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from energetic puppies who need long walks and playtime to senior dogs who just want a gentle stroll and lots of love. My most knowledgeable experience was caring for my senior golden retriever named Doc, who needed medication twice a day and extra patience on his walks. I made sure he got his medicine on time and took slow, comfortable walks at his own pace. For dog walks, I provide engaging walks with plenty of exercise, potty breaks, and personalized attention. I’ve walked everything from high-energy huskies who love to run to shy rescue dogs who need extra reassurance and gentle care. For drop-in visits, I check in on your pet, refresh food and water, provide potty breaks, clean up as needed, and, of course, give plenty of belly rubs and playtime. I once cared for a nervous rescue pup named Baxter, who was slow to trust new people. With patience and treats, he warmed up to me, and by the end of our visits, he was happily greeting me at the door with a wagging tail! For overnight sitting, your pet gets loving care in a stress-free environment. I stick to their routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and snuggles. I’ve stayed with multiple pets at a time. Throughout every visit, I send regular updates, photos, and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in great hands. Book with me today for dependable, loving pet care! My only current responsibilities are raising my 4 year old daughter who loves all animals, caring for my 7 year old low-maintenance cat named Sparkle, and keeping up with my online classes for my Medical Coding Certificate. The classes are online and allow me to login on at any point in the day to get work done! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a calm and secure environment with a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time. I do have a 5 year old cat named Sparkle who keeps to herself in a separate room and a 3 year old child who loves animals but is always supervised around them to ensure a positive and respectful interaction. For in-home care, I follow your pet’s routine closely to keep them comfortable and stress-free. Whether they need structured playtime, a quiet space to relax, or extra attention, I tailor my care to their needs. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, I focus on creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment. I also provide regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for!

I have a fenced in yard with doggy doors that can either be open to provide the pup with access to the backyard, or closed to ensure your dog won't get into unsupervised trouble. I also have two gates that separate the home and can add extra separation between animals or other needs.
“Laurelyn took great care of our puppies! She was always on time, and impressively quiet when she came in to get the puppies. They always came home from their walks happy and tired. Thanks Laurelyn! 🐾”

About: Hey, I’m a lifelong animal lover who believes pets are part of the family. I’ve grown up with dogs all around me, and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. Since I was 6, I’ve been responsible for a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix who felt like the baby sister I never had. I took care of everything from feeding and bathing to her physical activities and grooming, and it taught me how special the bond with our pets truly is. Now, as I work from home with a flexible schedule, I have the freedom to care for your pets whenever they need. Whether it’s a peaceful walk, some playtime under the sun, or just being there to comfort them, I’m available day and night to offer all the love and attention they deserve. I’ve created a warm, welcoming space with hardwood floors for any pets still learning, a play area by the playground, and plenty of toys to keep them happy. I’m here to give your pets a safe, positive, and nurturing environment. With me, they’ll feel loved, cared for, and right at home. Peace, love, and pets—always. About: I have always had a love for pets! I got my latest dogther 5 years ago and she is a bundle of joy! Others may say I spoil her but I call it just loving her! ! All of my friends and family count on me to care for their pets while they are away and they know that they are in great hands and I will "spoil" their baby just as much as I do my own! I am a former Elementary school teacher. I’ve also worked with special needs children/adults. I am currently a life insurance broker and I work on my own schedule. About: I've been dog sitting/walking for over 15 years to many different size dogs of many different ages. I worked at pet stores and as a vet tech for many years. I have volunteered at Zoos and Animal Rehabilitation centers. I love and can take care of many different animals! I currently have 2 dogs, a cat, a snake, a tarantula, and fish tanks; but I’ve had & cared for many other kinds of animals before (lizards, birds, tortoises, etc). I am very detail oriented, and animals always come first in my life. I just moved here from Florida and have no other job obligations currently. I have my own pets but have a partner to take care of our babies while I focus on yours. I don't bring animals to my personal home but always have the utmost respect for other's homes. I make sure to follow the house rules for the animals and never leave a mess.
About: Hi! My name is Melissa and I’m hoping I’m your future pet sitter. I believe our pets are an extension of our family and should be treated as so. Working from home allows me to adapt to your pets routines. Whether your fur babies like to sleep and cuddle or go for walks and play fetch all day I like to match their energy. I will always send updates and pictures so you can have peace of mind that your family is being well cared for while you’re away. I also love the different ways we take care for our pets so I don’t consider anything to "high maintenance.” I am happy to work around dietary restrictions as well as administer medicine as needed. When I’m caring for your pets, my job is to be there for them while you’re away. When house sitting, I spend most of my time with them only leaving for short periods of time. I don’t mind helping out with any extra little tasks you may need (i.e. watering plants) so just ask, cause I’ve got you! Out of respect I will leave your home as I found it, if not cleaner. Essentially, I care for your furry family the way I’d hope someone would care for mine when I’m away, following their routines, giving them extra love and making sure they’re safe and happy. If you’re like me and read reviews, I just wanted to address my only negative review, while I did have to file an unprecedented complaint about the owners behavior with Rover for that stay, I also believe everyone is entitled to their opinion. I feel all my positive reviews show that my normal stays always end up with a new furry friend and a repeat customer! Hope to meet and greet you soon! Melissa I work from home so I’m free to meet your pets scheduling needs. I am available Monday through Sunday morning, afternoon or evening. Or all 3 if you need it! ! I always use leashes, stop at corners and look both ways before crossing. I never walk in the street and don’t let my pets either. I always clean up after ourselves, leave no trace behind. Safety first and always with love and compassion.

Yay!!”

“Jackie and Kevin did great with our babies. They were very responsive and gave updates. My pups are a little spoiled and one requires daily medications, but Jackie made us feel comfortable that everything would be fine and it wasn't a hassle. I'd recommend them and would rebook in the future.”

“This is our 2nd time with Omaira & Isaac and we are beyond pleased with Lola’s stay! Especially knowing she is in good hands and is comfotable in a nice, clean home! Omaira and Isaac are super responsive with everything! Even sudden changes of plans and extending our stay! Thank you both for being there for Lola and thank you for being so professional and kind. We appreciate the updates and photos of Lola having a great time with her friends! She’s truly enjoys her stay there! She was sound asleep when she got home haha. We appreciate you both so much! 💜”

“Cassandra was amazing with our pups! A short stay but they loved her and had the best time! She sent two daily updates with pictures and videos and responded to any question I asked in between. I would recommend her to anyone and will definitely be using her services again in the future!! ❤️”

“Kacie is so loving and caring. I enjoyed her personality and enthusiasm I hope Bennie did also! I appreciate that she requested a meet and greet. Bennie had a chance to meet her dogs and Kacie got an opportunity to see the dynamics of the 3 dogs. I will definitely use Kacie's services again.”

“This was my dog’s first time staying with Krystal and it’s safe to say he enjoyed himself. He gets along great with other dogs so the fact that she has dogs of her own was good. He was energetic and happy when I picked him up. I will definitely use Krystal again for my dog sitting needs in the future!”

“Rodney is amazing! He took good care of our sweet standard poodle while we were out of town. Very responsive and friendly. My dog had the best days while staying with him. Highly recommend him!”
