About: Hi, I’m Kayla! I’m looking to start dog walking during my lunch break during the week between 11ish am - 12ish pm in Ruckersville or the Hollymead area. I work from home Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. I will travel up to 15 minutes from my home (given 30 minutes with your pet). I can also do walks after 4:30 pm, given a proper heads up to adjust my schedule. I am well trained with animals and was also a veterinary assistant out after college! I currently have a Morkie named Rocco. I’ve grown up with larger dogs such as German Shepherds, Bulldogs, and Labrador retrievers so I’ve very comfortable with dogs up to 115 pounds. I will also be available on some weekends with a two week advance notice with a little bit more flexible hours. I can’t wait to hear from you! Luckily with my job, I can take lunch whenever. I can work more with your schedule and walk your pet between 11 am - 2:00 pm and anytime after 4:30 pm on certain days. We have a dog yard plus 5 acres. All dogs stay in our extra bedroom, which is now considered the dog room. I personally have two dogs, a cattle dog and a husky mix. They are both very social with all other dogs. We like to have a good time here but I keep a very safe environment for the dogs, no fighting or picking on one another. NO DOG IS TURNED AWAY. If you think your dog is aggressive, I can and will evaluate them so that if possible, we will get them socializing with their own kind and having a great time. Thanks, have a good day! I train dogs for a living so I stay at my house 7 days a week besides when I work with clients and those lessons tend to run about an hour but no more than 2 hours! I have 9 years experience running my own kennel and have two dogs with a large fence so there will be no boredom here! I do prefer to kennel dogs for the night but as we get comfortable with each other they will start to earn more freedom! Pet care is my full time job and i wouldn’t have it any other way, it has been a blessing. I hope I can help make your schedule less stressful! While you’re away, let your dogs play! I have a five foot fenced in dog yard specifically for dogs. We also have another 5 acres that we will walk all client dogs on during their stay with us.-

About: I have my vet assistant licenses and I’ve been working with animal since 2020 I went to MTC in Harrisonburg Virginia for vet. I’m also close to finishing my grooming school. I’m currently working part time. I can do weekdays and weekends anytime works for me. I’ll just need at least a day in advance. If you need me last minute I might be able to work something out. About: Just the 2 of us. Our sweet boy crossed over the rainbow bridge, and while we’re not quite ready to get another dog, we love making new paw friends! We both work from home, and have opposite schedules when leaving the house, so one of us is normally home! It’s a perfect set up for your pups ‘home away from home.’ We take at least 2 walks a day, plus dog parks and car rides! Dogs are free to roam around the house and fenced in yard.

About: I’ve taken care of many animals in my life and I will continue to take care of animals for as long as I live. Getting to see dogs and cats every day has always been a joy but it’s been even better knowing I take care of people’s pets, knowing that people trust me with their furry friends is an honor. I’ve been in many different kinds of environments with dogs and cats outside of dog sitting. I have worked as a kennel assistant in two different vets, and realized that the veterinary field wasn’t the field I wanted to go down, I’ve worked in a doggy daycare where I go to play with dogs and see the looks on dogs faces when their owner picked up, I now work as a dog bather and have goals to become a dog groomer in the future. I will always have dog sitting open and available for years to come. Working with animals is so rewarding and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. I currently am not working any jobs at the moment but I am a college student. My hours are much more flexible than they were in high school. I have class on Mondays and Wednesdays, and I also have band practice every day from 6-7:30. My weekends are free unless I have a game on Saturday or if I plan to go home on a weekend. We have a double harness leash for both of our dogs and we take them on daily walks. We do live in a townhome so we don’t have a fence but we do take them out and if you have a fence I will definitely be sure to give your furry friend the exercise they need!

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life. I grew up on a farm and have always loved animals. My girls Piper, Ella and Shelby are my world. I love these dogs like they are children. They are spoiled I will admit. I also have taken care of my friends dogs for years while they have been out of town and my house as "Aunt Paige's Doggie Camp" All my dogs I have brought up from puppies. I have house trained them, crate trained them and trained them on the invisible fence for the yard. They always get lots of love and have lots of toys to play with, both inside and outside. I work from home, so I'm always here to take them out and take care of them. My dogs are always outside when it's not too hot or the weather is bad. I live on a quite street which ends in a cul-da-sak. So I will walk them at least 2 times a day The most important thing is they must get along with other dogs. I have a invisible fence in my yard and can certainly put your dog on it if they are trained on one. Otherwise I will go out with them and walk them. If they are well trained and can be lose a return on command they can play in the yard with my girls.

About: I have been around all kinds of animals my whole life. From rabbits, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, fish, a squirrel, dogs, and/or cats. I currently have a 2 year old high energy husky who loves to keep us on a schedule for his park visits and walks. I love all animals- all shapes and sizes- and would love to help you get your pup out for exercise and potty breaks or even visits in the home if you have a cat or caged animal that needs tending to while you work or travel! I work 12 hour shifts Saturday Sunday and Mondays so I am not available on those days. I am available anytime Tuesdays through Friday however. I have a 2 year old husky who keeps us on a very regimented routine. Once we have taken our kids to school he is ready for his daily trip to the local dog park in hopes we catch his doggy friends, where we spend at minimum an hour and by 3pm he is ready for his evening walk to burn up some of his energy!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. I am a big animal lover so your pet would be in good hands. They will get a lot of attention, exercise, and love. I am fully able to take care of your pet 7 days a week and all daytime hours. I am available from 6am to 10pm. I can provide a leash if needed and walk only on sidewalks, paths, trails or take them to a nearby park. Safety is my highest priority.
About: I am a lifelong animal lover. I am comfortable with caring for any breed and any size dog. We have a senior beagle mix, named Tallahassee, a Weimaraner, Luna and an American Bully, Axl. All of our dogs love to meet new pupper friends. Luna and Axl love to play with other dogs, while Tallahassee is the more laid back of the three. I own two Great Danes and previously had a cat, so I’m comfortable with large breeds, daily routines, and attentive care. About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals and have cared for/owned all kinds of pets, from dogs and cats to snakes and ferrets. I currently have several senior pets of my own, so I know how important gentle, patient care is, especially for older animals. I also have experience with positive reinforcement training and love keeping pets active, whether that means playtime, walks, or a good run for dogs with extra energy. My goal is always to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m currently taking online summer courses in aerospace engineering and art, which gives me a flexible schedule and lots of time throughout the day to spend with the pets I care for. I just recently moved to the STL for inspiration and a change of scenery. Since most of my own pets are still back home for the time being, I have plenty of extra love, attention, and playtime to give to yours. I care for pets by keeping their routine as consistent as possible and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I stay on top of feeding, fresh water, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and any other daily needs, and I always try to give pets plenty of attention so they’re not just being “checked on.” I’m comfortable adjusting to different personalities and energy levels, whether that means playing with a high-energy dog, giving a shy cat space to warm up, or being extra gentle with a senior pet.
About: Ive been involved with animals my whole life. My family and i have raised 3 generations of labs. I've been grooming dogs for over 8 years. I've worked for doggy day cares throughout my career. I've volunteered for the SPCA. I love animals they are my passion in life and would care for them as my own. I love all types of pets and can handle super excited puppies and not so friendly doggies. :-) I love all types of dogs. Can be there in short notice and am quick thinking in case of emergency. About: I have my vet assistant licenses and I’ve been working with animal since 2020 I went to MTC in Harrisonburg Virginia for vet. I’m also close to finishing my grooming school. I’m currently working part time. I can do weekdays and weekends anytime works for me. I’ll just need at least a day in advance. If you need me last minute I might be able to work something out. I love playing with animals and loving on them. I always make sure they are taking out and walked until they are ready to go back in. I make sure ever pup I take care of is happy.
About: I’ve taken care of many different size pets. Usually different dog breeds, everything from a yorkie to a bull mastiff. Older dogs 10 years plus and even puppies for a bit of time. Usually I provide weekend services unless they are allowed to be in a crate for an extended period of time. I prefer not to keep them in a crate. Usually I will drop my pet off at my parents house so it makes it easier to focus and stay on top of each pets needs.
