I can't remember if I didn't take the vacation or she just wasn't available for the dates I needed but, I didn't use her last year. This year, I needed a sitter for 3 nights as I was going out of town. She took care of my little beagle, Buddy and my golden doodle, Toby. I've had both of these dogs for less than 3 months. When I took them to visit her before the vacation, they took to her and her household immediately so I felt very secure leaving them 2 days later when I went on vacation. My niece also left her little Aussie dog with her as well. Shannon sent lots of pictures of the dogs and descriptions of their activities each day! She let us know if they weren't eating and she gave her input and thoughts as to why they were doing or not doing something unusual. She gave me and my niece both peace of mind and that's the number one thing we needed from a dog sitter. We could tell that she loved on our dogs just as if they were her children and we loved it. “Our previous sitter told me they are moving, which prompted me to search for a new sitter. I decided to try Rebecca, and am I glad I did! I was happy with our first sitter, but LuLu spent her time there just sniffing their yard and snuggling up on the couch with the sitter. She barely ate and wouldn't play with their dog. It was such a delight to see how happy LuLu was at Rebecca's place. She ran around the yard like I haven't seen her do since she was a puppy. When Rebecca thought LuLu needed a rest and brought her inside, LuLu whined to go back out, so out she went for more running around! Finally, she took a nap on the couch, then got up and ate all of her dinner. Then she settled down chewing on her toy until we came back for her. She was happy to see us, but gave Rebecca a tail wag when they said goodbye. I'm so glad LuLu found a place where she can thrive when we're gone. Now I won't hesitate to book a vacation! Rebecca was very attentive to the history I gave her about LuLu and my instructions about her routine and fears. We did a Meet & Greet on short notice, and Rebecca showed LuLu and me her back yard and inside her house. She assured me that she would never give LuLu an opportunity to run away. The way Rebecca gave me updates all day long assured me that LuLu was being well cared for and was having a great time. Rebecca is definitely Lulu's new sitter. I couldn't be happier with her care.”

During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. About: I've had a 91 lb labradoodle from puppy to now for about 4 years. I've also been told that my cat adopted me about 1.5 years ago. My dog is a happy go lucky guy who's never met a person or animal he didn't like. My cat is about 15 years old and requires injectable medication twice a day, so nothing scares me when it comes to medication. I've taken care of the odd African Grey Parrot from time to time as well. I take my dog out every morning, lunch time and several times in the evening for walks and play. Our cat needs medicine twice a day that requires an injection so I'm well versed in providing medication and taking care of animals with special needs. About: I love caring for dogs and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. I’m patient with dogs of all sizes and personalities and always follow feeding schedules, provide regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention so every dog feels at home. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available most days of the week, including weekends. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I’m happy to work with different schedules and last-minute bookings whenever possible I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Since I don’t have a fenced yard, I take dogs on regular walks for exercise, potty breaks, and fresh air. I also provide plenty of attention, playtime, and follow the pet’s normal feeding schedule and routines. My goal is to make pets feel relaxed and at home while their owners are away.
About: I have helped train and care for my own dogs since I was 8 years old. I have house sat, done drop in visits and walked dogs for neighbors and friends. Dogs always make me smile and I have done a lot of reading/research on how to train/care for your dog. I work part time so there is a lot of time in my day to care for dogs. I usually have a lot of time in the afternoon and the evening to feed them or walk them. I love to play with dogs and walk them. I am very active so I can do long walks with the dogs or just play some fetch. All dogs are different and need different types of attention and love.
About: I take care of my neighbors dogs, my friends dogs, and dogs at my place of work, I technically have 6 dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I work at a doggy daycare part time, my hours typically range from 7-12:30 so any time after then I would be able to take care of your babies! I treat the dogs in my home with respect and gentleness that they deserve. I try to take them on walks regularly when i can.

About: I have had the pleasure to take care of animals my whole life. After going to boot camp I realized how much animals actually give you peace of mind on a daily basis and I have taken care of neighbors animals and family ever since. I have plenty of space for animals of all sizes and a fenced in yard for dogs who need to run. I love to go on walks as I am very active and have to keep my 2 mile up always. I am also very patient for kitties who just want to lay around and sleep. If given the opportunity I would love to spend my time with the animals you love. I am in the national guard so I work 1 weekend a month and the rest is free! I am currently trying to make animal sitting an everyday thing so I can work out any times needed. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space inside as well. I have a doggy door for smaller dogs but I can let the bigger ones out just as easily.
