“I left my 11 year old dog Zee for 4 days and went out of town. I received updates and pictures 3-4 times a day. Zee did not eat much the first day from her bowl so was "hand fed" by Radka to ensure she ate some....OMG! We discussed by text and made a food substitution that worked out..Radka went out and purchased the food with her own funds! She took care of my Zee like she was hers...She walked her, played with her, indulged her, and spoiled her (to be honest)..I felt so happy and contented with the care that I never worried like usual. My family joked that Zee would not want to return home.. Radka's adorable kids even helped out with Zee. What more could I ask for?..this was THE BEST experience i ever had with doggie care in 10 years!! Many thanks to this awesome family..I hope they don't get too popular and unable to take Zee next time I travel..”

“I can't say enough great things about both of my pups experience w/ Paula. I was so nervous leaving my Jack w/ anyone, as he is quite the bundle of energy. My older sweet girl (Shephard mix) can be timid and nervous, especially around other dogs. They both took to Paula instantly and came home safe, smiling, and exhausted from all the exercise they had between Paula's backyard setup and their pack of playmates. Paula is a great communicator, and sent plenty of pictures and updates so that I never had to worry about how they were doing. This stay allowed me to travel to my daughter on very short notice, and I will be reaching out to Paula first for any travel or boarding needs in the future.”

About: I have previous experience working as a field manager for a professional pet care company where I have taken care of dozens of dogs/cats of all ages with many different routines/needs, I have my Pet First Aid and CPCR certification, and I currently have two young German Shepherd pups of my own! I have always been very passionate about animals and know how important it is to feel that your pets are in good hands when you are away. I currently work an early morning part-time job, which leaves me the rest of the day to play with your pups! I am available during the week and on most weekends for boarding and walking. About: I've been a cat lover for as long as I can remember, having grown up with cats and spending most of my life caring for them. In 2015, I adopted my first tuxedo cat from the local SPCA because I wanted a companion in my new apartment. A few years later, I decided she deserved a companion too, so I adopted another tuxedo kitten from a rescue in North Carolina. Despite looking alike, they couldn't have more different personalities. My 18-pound boy is a lovable, goofy giant who doesn't know how big he is. Every night he waits in my bed to cuddle with me, while my tiny 4-pound senior girl is independent, opinionated, and happily reminds him who's in charge. Living with two very different cats has taught me that every cat has its own personality, routine, and comfort level. About: I’ve always had dogs and cats since I was a kiddo. Currently we have two spoiled dogs and two sweet cats. I take my two dogs on a mile or two walk every day. I started my own pet sitting business in my 20’s after working for a small pet company. I also was working FT with adults with disabilities. I worked in veterinary care for a good bit of time, and I have been trusted by many families to care for their animals while they were away on trips. I am comfortable giving medicine, working on obedience, and giving more snuggles than your pup will know what to do with. My husband works from home 3-4 days a week, so your dog would have many opportunities to go outside and to be loved on. I am available Monday through Friday for lunch time check-ins and potty breaks, and I'm available for walks after 5pm Monday through Friday. We could also accommodate over-night boarding any day of the week, as long as we do not have a previously scheduled weekend away. While I do not have a fenced in yard, our family loves to be outside and take walks as much as possible through out the day. We also have our energetic 5 year old dog, Maverick, to keep your dog company through out the day and engage in play. We have ample space in our home for a crate. Our daughter also loves to throw the ball and makes sure her puppy feels loved all the time.

About: Hi! My husband and I have both had dogs since we were young kids. We currently have a senior dog (female) and a puppy (male 11months). Both are Australian shepherds. We also have two kids (6 and 8). We have a lot of experience with dogs of all ages and needs. :) We have a fenced in yard and our puppy would love someone to play with during the day. I am home with my kids pretty much all summer, so I’m available most of the day. Dogs will need to be good with other dogs and young children as well as spayed/neutered. We have a puppy, so I am in and out all day to take him outside and play with him. I am also home with my kids all summer, so we are at home a lot! I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pup company. They are both crate trained, although our senior dog is left out when we leave. I have an extra small crate (or you can bring one). We love dogs and would treat yours like our own.

About: Hi, I'm Kim! I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. I'm a mom of 4 fur babies of my own and have had animals all my life. I am currently transitioning from a 13 year Nanny position into my dream job of caring for animals full time. Three years ago, I started pet sitting part-time and have gotten rave reviews and I absolutely love it!! (References available on request) My schedule is very flexible for drop-ins and overnight stays on a first come, first serve basis. I will come to your pet's home where they are most comfortable. Offering pet care services in your home, I follow the typical routine you and your pets have already established. They will keep their routine and not go through any traumatic transitions. The best part? Your fur baby is there when you get home. Your home will also have that "lived in" look. Mail will be picked up, plants watered, lights will be switched on and off, trash rolled to the curb, and any house issues that arise can be addressed. Especially for overnight or vacation services, I would love the chance to meet you and your pet(s) in your home ahead of time. I always encourage new clients to schedule a (free) 30-minute meet-and-greet before the first booking (either at your home or a public location) so that I can meet your pet(s). If I am doing a sitting or drop-in, then these are perfect for showing me where the food supplies are as well as bowls, litter box(es), and anything else that may be needed for the booking I send daily updates while you are away so your vacation is worry free. I am looking to establish a regular client base and consider pets as part of the family.
About: I’m a pre-veterinary student with a huge passion for animals and a strong background in pet care. I currently foster cats, kittens and dogs through the Rockingham County SPCA and work alongside a veterinarian as a veterinary assistant, giving me hands-on experience caring for animals with a variety of needs. Growing up with numerous pets and working at a boarding kennel has also given me experience with animals of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I will always provide safe, loving, and attentive care while treating them like family. “I left my 11 year old dog Zee for 4 days and went out of town. I received updates and pictures 3-4 times a day. Zee did not eat much the first day from her bowl so was "hand fed" by Radka to ensure she ate some....OMG! We discussed by text and made a food substitution that worked out..Radka went out and purchased the food with her own funds! She took care of my Zee like she was hers...She walked her, played with her, indulged her, and spoiled her (to be honest)..I felt so happy and contented with the care that I never worried like usual. My family joked that Zee would not want to return home.. Radka's adorable kids even helped out with Zee. What more could I ask for?..this was THE BEST experience i ever had with doggie care in 10 years!! Many thanks to this awesome family..I hope they don't get too popular and unable to take Zee next time I travel..”

“I can't say enough great things about both of my pups experience w/ Paula. I was so nervous leaving my Jack w/ anyone, as he is quite the bundle of energy. My older sweet girl (Shephard mix) can be timid and nervous, especially around other dogs. They both took to Paula instantly and came home safe, smiling, and exhausted from all the exercise they had between Paula's backyard setup and their pack of playmates. Paula is a great communicator, and sent plenty of pictures and updates so that I never had to worry about how they were doing. This stay allowed me to travel to my daughter on very short notice, and I will be reaching out to Paula first for any travel or boarding needs in the future.”

With a big fenced in backyard and numerous walks around the neighborhood, Truffle had a blast.
